Bobby's anxiety made her laugh and Fiona reached over to slug the twitchy teen in the shoulder. If the dweeb was so worried about damaging the thing, he shouldn't have brought it out; it would really be his fault if anything happened. And Fiona, being Fiona, couldn't really help the urge to give poor Bobby a heart attack. At Bo's inquiry, she grinned, took a few steps back, and bolted forward. She leapt onto the hood of the car and slid across on her backside, landing lightly at the passenger-side door and practically bouncing in.
"You may be a loser, Bo-face," she teased. "But I wouldn't joyride with anybody else."
"W-wait, Bo," came Bobby's desperate voice. "Fiona, get out -- "

Really, it hadn’t been all that bright of Bobby to boost the car from his cousin if he’d been at all worried about handing it over to the others in the gang. They weren’t the most careful bunch, and really, the kid just ought to be grateful Skid and Iz weren’t around to tear the thing to pieces. True, Bo could be just as reckless, if not more so in his own ways, but it still held true in retrospect.
Lazily watching Fee skid over the hood of the vehicle and then smirking at her when she settled in beside him, he turned to flash a grin towards Bobby as he gunned the engine and then got the car moving, jerking hard on the wheel to pull off a risky turn when the way was clear ahead of them; the others barked with laughter and leapt back and out of the way, before Bo decided now was as good a time as any to see how good the car really was.
“Whadda ya’ say, McFee?” he rumbled deviously, his eyes burning bright with the wolf caged within. “Shall we put this girl through her paces?”

Fiona's laughter was loud and bright -- the engine gunned, roaring through the cabin of the car and she looked to Bo with a grin that was nothing short of wicked. "Boski, honey," the young human teased. "Do you really have to ask?"
Maybe it was the company she kept, or the lifestyle she had led since coming to L.A., but this was exactly her idea of fun. The illegality of it didn't bother her, for she stole for a living and, in her opinion, 'It's only illegal if you get caught.' And Fiona had yet to be caught. She was too good for stupid mistakes and, with Bo and Ian's 'instruction', she had learned to disregard her fear of the law ages ago.
"Let's go!"

Of course he didn’t really have to ask, but it was fun to push the buttons that got the good answers, the positive responses, and he gave a grin that was much more wolf, much more predator, than anything human, and with his eyes glowing with a feral brightness, he slammed his foot down on the gas and the car leapt forward as its engine roared with a mechanical purr of enthusiasm.
Bo had never been one to play by the rules; he had been more or less above them as a human, given his social standing and the money his family had had, and after that, the wolf had only increased his desire to do what he wanted, to make mischief and play the game his way. Rules be damned, they were made to be broken. After all, he wouldn’t have been a pickpocket — and a good one at that — if he was worried about anything illegal.
Giving a loud cheer of a laugh as the car sped smoothly over the dirt road ahead and skidded swiftly around the bend he took at high speed, he shifted his grip on the wheel and put his foot all the way down once again.

Behind them, she could hear the howling laughter of their little 'pack' -- loud and raucous like a gang of hyenas. They were trouble, each and everyone of them: thieves, pickpockets, delinquents of every color. All of them had a distinct disregard for authority and the law, a common ideal that had banded them all together into a nigh-indestructible family.
Her 'band of brothers'. How she loved them.
Unless, of course, they were trying to get her killed, as Bo seemed intent on. The sleek car's back wheels skidded on the gravel as the blonde wolf took another risky turn with a scream of rubber. Fiona's voice cried out over top as she practically howled, punching the roof of the car with a gloved fist. "Hell, yeah," she bellowed. "Man, Bobby's cousin ain't gettin' this beauty back anytime soon."

Bo’s grin only grew, almost insanely, as he too picked up on the laughter that was fading behind them, prompting him to unleash one of his own, enjoying himself far too much; it wasn’t healthy, some would say, but did he care? Not in the least. What was the point in being immortal, or near enough, if he couldn’t enjoy himself? Bo had always made a point of making the most of any situation, and he would be damned if he wasn’t going to exercise that philosophy here and now.
“And if we’ve got anything to say about it,” Bo ground out, pulling off a risky, adrenaline-spiking skid, “not in one piece either.” He laughed again, the mirth of his wolf shining through in the sound and colouring it with an all too exhilarated growl, his eyes flashing brightly as he put his foot down again and, sending a spray of gravel out behind them as the wheels spun, hurtled the car forward once more.

Fee's squeal was part fear, part exhileration; she knew she was protected with Bo because he knew her limitations as a human, but, to be frank, shit happened. Still, her blond companion was hell on two wheels or four, and he was more than proving it. Having ignored her seatbelt altogether, Fee was tossed about a bit within the confines of the car, but it only added to the thrill of the joyride.
"Ohhh, you wouldn't kill this car, Bo," she laughed before her mirth was cut off by another delighted yowl. "It's too damned pretty to do any serious damage."
Of course, there were still a lot of possibilities...

Bo was always more careful around Fee than he was with any of the others, not because she was ‘a girl’, which seemed to fuel protectiveness from the others enough as it was, but because she had always taken it upon herself to look out for him. So in a way, he was returning the favour, but not only that, the wolf in him demanded nothing less. Fee was to be protected, when he was fit to do so, and protect her he would. Even when they were tearing around in a borrowed car like this.
Gunning the engine again and then giving a playful grin that was way more wolf than man, Bo laughed low in his throat, combining the mirth with a growl of the animal within. “You have a point,” he conceded, before pulling off a well-timed and exhilarating handbrake turn that spun the car around in a one-eighty and then saw them roaring back the way they had come, before he took a hard corner and went peeling off in another direction.

Naturally, Fee did appreciate being looked after. Despite her stubborn independence, she had Bo to lean on, and Ian; she still needed family, after all. Never mind the fact that her penchant for dangerous stunts or extreme sports occasionally made looking after her difficult. What with the skateboarding and the thievery and the general disregard for authority.
Plus, Bo was just a bad influence.
"Aieeee!" was the young female's response to their sudden change of direction, and she found herself gripping the 'sissy bar' above the passenger-side window, if only to keep from bashing her head against the glass. Bo accelerated the car further, if such a thing were possible, and she could barely see the stunned faces of their comrades as they blazed by once again. Though she was fairly sure that she heard something that could have been a wail of despair from Bobby.
"Awww, poor Bobert," Fee giggled. "Bo, maybe we should head back before he has a stroke..."
Please, please, please say no. What? It was Bobby's fault for bringing out the car.

“Pfft.” As responses went, it wasn’t the most eloquent, but the bark of laughter he released as he pulled off a fast, reckless spin erased any concerns about his vocabulary. “C’mon, Fee, let him panic. He’s so good at it, after all.” His flashed grin would probably be enough to erase all her worries, that and the sound of the engine being gunned again, ready to be released in another burst of ferocious speed.
“You wouldn’t want to spoil my fun, would you?” His eyes were bright, his wolf close to the surface, the animal within thrilled by the rush of adrenaline and the danger of the current activity, the way he was tearing the car around and around the outskirts like they were his own personal playground. The wolf wanted more, and to mow down anyone and anything in its path, consequences be damned.

If anything, she should have been mildly terrified by the manic expression on the blond wolf's face. Bo was nothing if not devious when he put his mind to it, which was almost always. If Fiona had been opposed to it, she could have walked away anytime, but considering that she was just as reckless and ridiculous, they were somewhat perfectly matched. She met Bo's mischievous grin with one of her own, and promptly shrieked when the car fishtailed around a corner;
"Holy shit!"
Of course, the car evened itself out when Bo gave a slight tug on the wheel. The tires screeched in protest and the buildings around them all but flew past. "And have you sulk at me for the rest of the night?" she snorted. "Do I look like that big of a moron?"

Fee knew him too well. At least, she ought to, by now; she knew how he ticked, what made his blood run hot, and what thrilled him to no end. Racing a car at breakneck speeds? That worked like a charm, and it never failed, neither did speeding along on a bike. Were four wheels better than two? Bo had yet to make that decision, and so far, he had been working on it for some years. One day, he would make a choice, but until he had to, he doubted he would be rushing through the conundrum.
Bo laughed at Fee’s response, shrugging his shoulders in an exaggerated fashion, making the movement easy for his companion to see, before that broad grin was back on his face, a touch of wolf to it, the growl of excitement rich in his throat as they continued to speed along.

Bo certainly showed prowess with anything that was fast enough to be dangerous, four wheels or two. As reckless as it was, Fee enjoyed being taken along for the ride, so to speak. It wasn't just that he could drive fast, after all; he could drive well, no matter the speed, which was something of a comfort. The last thing Fiona wanted was another trip to the hospital, plus there would be all kinds of drama if Bo managed to wrap the car around a telephone pole.
"It's a cryin' shame that Bobby's cousin hardly takes this thing out," she lamented as Bo sent them roaring down the street. "A beauty like this is meant to be seen, dammit. Shown off..."
The young woman couldn't help smirking as she continued; "I mean, it'd be downright selfish if we kept her to ourselves."

It had taken Bo time to master controls like these, whether they be to maintain something with four wheels or with two. He had had a fine tutor in the matter, of course, and as Fee’s voice reached his ears above the purr and growl of the powerful engine at his command, he gave a grin, thinking he knew exactly what she was hinting at.
“You think we should share this baby, huh?” His bottom lip was taken in his teeth, and his laugh was more a masculine giggle than anything, the hints of lupine vocals teasing through the sound. “I think that sounds like a great idea, Fee,” he said to her, meeting her gaze sidelong.
“Know where Skid is tonight?” he asked with unmistakeable mischief in his voice.

They took a sharp corner and Fiona squealed both from fear and adrenaline. It would take some time before she could manage a vehicle with the kind of prowess that Bo had, but in the meantime, why not watch and learn? It wasn't the same, but at least it was a start.
Besides, she had to buy a vehicle first, and that sure as hell wasn't happening any time soon.
"Skid?" Fee repeated, then shook her head. "No idea -- chasin' tail no doubt, though." The young woman looked to her companion with a sly kind of smirk. "Why?"
