"I certainly hope so," the cook returned with a smile. As was usual for him, he stood as his Alpha female entered, inclining his head politely. Old habits, and all that.
"There are still a good number left, but I can whip up some more, if you like."

Fox finished up his salsa-covered omelettes and leaned lazily back in his chair. By all means he was somewhat statisfied, or at least his stomach was. The wolf was not in the least. It wanted to wander about for a while...kill something, stuff like that. Most likely frolick in a field...if there were any fields in LA.
"Bored..." Fox whined somewhat sitting back up and glancing around the table. He wasn't completely sure anyone trusted him in the pack. With that rivalary thing and terrority shit, Fox gave no real thought to the entire thing. The wolf growled deeply in boredom. He hated mornings.

Casey tossed a balled piece of omelette at Fox, missing him by just an inch, but enough to get his attention. The curly-haired young wolf was deeply respectful of his Alphas and Betas; especially Rayne. She was the most dominant wolf in the pack, and being female and not male — well, it had nothing to do with it. She had fought for leadership, and won. That was how it worked.
Stabbing into another piece of his breakfast, he set down his fork to drink some of his beverage, satisfied at the strong but refreshing taste of the coffee as it slipped down. He had granted Rayne a respectful, smiling nod as she entered, but he’d had his mouth full at the time; that didn’t lend itself well to speaking, after all.

Fox glared over at the other wolf, letting out a deep growl. "What the hell was that for?" Fox hissed, his normally brown eyes turning to a deep crimson momentarily before changing back. Fox glanced over towards Rayne offering a respectful nod. He was extremely loyal to the female alpha, even though he didn't show it very often.
Fox took a sip from his tea, maintaining his focus on Casey. He was tempted to launch a counter attack to the balled up omelette but thought it was too juvenile in his case. The wolf was indeed peeved of his lack of inviative, finding its human counterpart a little too laid back.

Rayne did have a point about Dante's post-moon appetite. Spence had seen the Alpha male go through half a large pizza and a carton of Chinese food, once. And that had only been an appetizer. Spence himself wasn't nearly as voracious after the full moon, but he could stand to wolf down another omelette or three...
So with a nod to Rayne, the fighter returned to the stove and replaced the frying pan, sipping his coffee as he went. On his way to the fridge he made a point of cracking Casey around the head with a growl that clearly meant, 'Be nice, or else.' He was used to the young wolf's hijinks, but it was clear that Fox wasn't in the mood.

Casey nearly choked on the dregs of his coffee, managing not to spill it as he lowered the mug and stifled a cough. Glancing to Fox, and then back to Spence, he slouched into his chair, realising the reasoning for throwing the food in the first place had been lost. Casey didn’t dislike Fox; sometimes, they got along pretty damn well, but the other wolf’s restlessness could be annoying, especially when his comments about boredom trampled all over an Alpha’s entrance.
So he just kept his mouth shut, not returning the growl, or explaining himself. He didn’t think it was necessary, which also meant he wasn’t going to apologise. He hadn’t hit Fox, after all.

Fox grinned smugly over towards Casey and silently thanked Spence for the slight intervention. He finished off his tea before pouring himself yet another cup. He always had found tea a way to soothe the savage beast inside. He had the small desire to go up to his room and curl up with his cats while listening to some tunes.
Fox stretched himself out on the chair, looking around the room with a slightly dominant glow in his eyes. "There's more?" Fox asked with a hopeful tone in his voice. He wasn't usually hungry during the full moon cycles, he was moody and extremely restless. He found eating was just something to do to pass the time.

"Maybe."
Spence hadn't missed that smug little grin. He knew what it was like to be moody and restless after a full moon, but that was no excuse for out-right rudeness. The fighter fixed Fox with calm gaze and raised an eyebrow.
"You gonna play nice?" he asked with a smirk.

Fox looked up at the fighter with a sly grin dancing on his face. "Of course, don't I always?" Fox laughed before sitting up straight in his chair and turning around to Spence. "If there's more...can I have some before Dante devours it all?" He meant the comment to be a joke, he really didn't mind not eating again or allowing any of the others eat. And anyone with two eyes could tell that it was just the moon cycle getting to him.
Fox was usually laid-back and ready to let the world pass him by without a care. But he usually got so annoying and easily aggravted on these three days. Not one for thinking during this time of the month. Fox let out a bored growl from deep within his chest, still without meaning to.

Drake sat silently, working his way through breakfast and simply watching. He had, naturally, given Rayne a polite nod of acknowledgment when she had entered, having a mouthful of coffee when she had appeared. Now, though, he sat listening, letting the others provide the conversation and not especially keen on jumping in unless he was addressed. At the moment, his mind felt rather foggy and he was perfectly content to sit and eat silently.

Spence dropped two more omelettes onto Fox's plate with a low growl of his own. Granted, the challenging nature of the sound was somewhat deadened by the older wolf's barely hidden smile. "If you're so bored, why don't you go practice your guitar or something?" he suggested. "Moping solves nothing, I'm afraid."
Another omelette found its way onto Casey's plate - a sort of silent apology for the 'abuse - and then the fighter looked to the subdued Drake. "You gonna want another, O King of Hair Products?"
All right, he'd pay for that, but he could always blame the excess of blood in his caffiene system...

Drake opened his mouth to retaliate for the barb about his tendence to use a rather good deal of hair gel, but shut it and shook his head in response to the question about the omelette. He was simply not in the mood to fire back at the fighter at the moment. Instead, he just took another drink of coffee.

Unluckily for Fox, he didn't know when to shut his mouth like his pack mate Drake. "Is that a code for 'go away'? I just came down from practicing my guitar...dad." Fox growled harshly before pausing and looking up at the fighter picking up his plate and fork. Unluckily for Fox, he knew when he was being too much. "I'm going upstairs to practice my guitar...or play with my cats. Which ever comes first."
Fox started for the door before stopping and turning towards the fighter, head slightly bowed in defeat. "Thanks for the breakfest, Spence." Fox sighed heavily. The wolf wasn't going to apolgize for his behavior. Things were pretty much left unsaid and he had a good excuse for his behavior.

Dante's 'Look' stopped Spence before he could fire off a scathing remark to Fox, and the fighter's mouth shut with a snap. He wasn't quite able to stifle the low growl that rumbled in his chest; full moon or no, Fox had a tendency to push it. Spence wasn't really known for having a temper, but still...growl.
Get over it. Getting worked up won't solve anything. "Coffee, sir?" he asked Dante, using the distraction to keep his temper in check.

Fox wasn't fazed when he heard the rumble from Spence's chest. It was to be expected when he was acting so damn moody. And when he started to admit in his mind that he was acting like he wanted a fight to start in the kitchen. He thought it best to save the omelettes and the majority of his pride and leave. The guitarist looked Spence straight in the eyes, his brown eyes glowing with his wolf's shade of deep red before sighing heavily.
"Later," he said as his eyes changed back to brown and he walked out, with plate and pride.
