At first, all Mimi received by way or response was a heavy sigh as Bo listened to the message from the other rogue wolf. When he was done listening, he closed the phone with a dull snap, and averted his gaze from it, looking back at the human as best he could, saying, “Fee went and tried to kill herself.” At Mimi’s intake of breath, he went on, “Not that way. She fell off a goddamn skateboard. They’ve got her at St. Benedict’s to check her over.”
Dammit. He loved Fee something rotten, but she was going to owe him big time. Not only did this mean getting out of bed once and for all and leaving the apartment, but he and Mimi would have to put things on hold. He wasn’t entirely selfish; he cared about Fee and Skid, and a few of the others in the gang, but he did like to indulge himself from time to time. After all, what was the point in essentially being immortal if you couldn’t enjoy the simple pleasures in life?

Though she hadn't known Fiona for as long as she suspected Bo did, Mimi still gave a little inward groan. The younger girl was most definitely a daredevil; Fee had often relayed stories of botched stunts, but most of the time, the ones with the injuries had been her other little skating buddies. Apparently it was Fiona's turn to land in the hospital.
"That girl..." Mimi muttered as she kissed the back of Bo's neck. Her fingertips trailed lightly over the smooth, taut plain of his stomach. "You gonna go check up on her?"

Fee was one of the first humans Bo had gotten attached to after Skid had taken the time to introduce the blonde pickpocket to ‘his gang’ and their associates, the ones who raced and those who craved to join in but watched from the sidelines. Fee was, actually, the only female he had become at all fond of, the others clear glory-hounds, interested only in sleeping with the winners and maybe slipping away with a few of their winnings if they could do so without getting caught, and when many of the participants were wolves, that was easier said than done.
Turning his phone in his hand, he looked down at it even as Mimi’s lips pressed to the back of his neck, concentrating briefly on the feel of her fingers playing over his stomach. “Yeah. Yeah, I should. Skid said she’s okay, but she wants her stuff, at least.” He turned his head so he could see her out of the corner of his right eye, pulling in her scent steadily before sighing. “Wanna come with?”

The question unbalanced the blonde 'tender for only a moment. Fiona was a common friend for the two of them, but Bo obviously didn't need to have Mimi tag along. He could have gone on his own and of course she would have visited Fee later, but it was nice to know that Bo still wanted her around. If she was completely honest with herself, it made her feel a bit smug.
"Sure thing," she said, turning a little so Bo would be able to see her smile out of the corner of his eye. "You gonna let me get dressed this time?"

Honestly, it wasn’t all that uncommon, at all, for Bo to sleep with a woman and then never see them again, or, if he did see them again, then the interest was gone, both the man and the wolf in him moving on to the next point of curiosity. But with Mimi, that was different. She was good to be around, physically and mentally, and hey, Bo was a male with basic needs; Mimi didn’t disappoint. Maybe that was crude of him, but it wasn’t bending the truth, and Bo saw no point in lying about anything like that.
“Well, I think we’d turn a few heads if you walked in like that,” he pointed out with a cheeky edge to his voice, glancing back at her with a smirk before he stood, pulling on his pants before digging a cigarette out from a pack buried in one of the baggy pockets. Fee usually wasn’t one to cause him that much stress, and in general, he didn’t get stressed all that much, but once in a while, well…
Lighting one for himself, he offered the pack to Mimi by lifting it with a raise of his brows, a wordless ‘want one?’ clear in his gesture. He only smoked occasionally, but he always kept them nearby if the urge struck.

As a general rule, Mimi always tried to live healthy. She was a 'gifted' human, sure, but she was still human; totally mortal in every sense of the word. The cigarette was tempting, though.
"Thanks but no thanks, Blue Eyes," she said with a cheeky little smile. Bo received a peck on the mouth as consellation when she stood before the human tender padded to the door to retrieve the clothes that had been scattered around the main apartment. Thankfully they were all more or less in her line of sight; with a casual wave of her hand she 'summoned' them and began to dress lazily.

Bo gave an indifferent shrug after she turned down the cigarette, after the brief kiss, pocketing the packet again as he glanced around for one shirt or another; he always had a few lying around, considering he wasn’t the most punctual when it came to dealing with his laundry. He couldn’t help the little smirk when Mimi ‘retrieved’ her clothes, admiring the method for a moment, before he resigned himself to getting a shirt from the haphazardly-organised closet.
Setting the cigarette in a makeshift ashtray while he picked a black t-shirt from the rail and pulled it on, he gathered it again afterwards and took a drag. “Y’know, I’m not sure if I’m doing this because I know Fee will smell it when we get there, and I know it’ll drive her crazy…” Bo considered the cigarette, and shrugged. “Eh, probably.”

Mimi snorted delicately while she shimmied into her cut offs. "Such a considerate friend," she teased. Of course, given the interaction between Bo and Fiona that she'd seen the night before, she knew that any 'torment' was all in good fun. Kind of like siblings. "Poor kid's probably all kinds of crabby, though -- hospital visits are damn far from cheerin'."
She could recall the few times that her 'condition' had landed her in the hospital. Before Mimi and her mother had really known what was going on the headaches and fainting spells had been dismissed as migraines -- excrutiatingly painful migraines, but migraines nonetheless. Needless to say, Mimi was not a fan of hospitals, but if Fee needed visiting and/or cheering up, the blonde 'tender could manages.

Indeed, in many ways, Bo and Fee were like siblings, with the werewolf being the obvious elder, and therefore, the one who pushed the younger around and bullied her in the interest of good-natured fun, but the type who would undoubtedly step in and fight, tooth and claw, for her, without wasting a breath to debate the matter. He had fought to protect Fee before, more than once, and hurt others who had harmed her, physically or mentally. He wouldn’t hesitate to keep on doing so, either.
Considering the cigarette as he rolled it between his finger and thumb, the smoke coiling upward from the tip, he then looked across at Mimi. “Well, she’s sitting with Skid. He’s hardly the most exciting companion in the world.” His eyes teased brightly at his wolf, and he grinned deviously. If the other male wolf heard him say something like that, he would aim an appropriate swat at Bo’s skull. But he would have to catch him first, if it ever happened.

She shook her head when she smiled, the movement making her blonde hair bounce lightly around her face. "Bo, whatever am I going to do with you?" she teased. "So mischievous..."
Not that she minded. It tended to take a lot to keep her interest and the blue-eyed wolf had gone above and beyond the call of duty, so to speak. This was turning into something that was definitely more than the typical one-night stand, but Mimi wasn't unhappy about it. With a lopsided smile she gave her hair a brief fluff and looked to Bo with a smile.
"I'm ready when you are, sugah."

Extinguishing the cigarette in the ashtray on top of the dresser, his interest in it lost now, he turned blue eyes back on the telekinetic woman not far away. “Well then, I guess we’re good to go.” He ran through a brief, subconscious mental check-list before he moved from the room, sensing Mimi following him as he went, grabbing his keys from the table near the door.
“Oh, and if you were thinking I’m a less reckless driver during the day?” He turned back to her, and grinned. “You were wrong.” Bo winked, his eyes feral and bright, and with a low, growled chuckle, he headed out of the door.
