Upon arriving at the kitchen, Sissy went straight to the refridgerator and pulled it open, studying what there was to drink. When her eyes landed on a fresh carton of orange juice, she grinned to herself and pulled it out, shutting the door with her hip as she headed for the cabinet. Pulling out a juice glass, she struggled for a moment to get the carton open, but finally got it and poured herself a glass of the juice. Returning the carton to its rightful place, she went over to where she had left her glass on the counter, shrugged to herself and sat on the counter next to her glass. Picking up the glass, she took a drink, leaning her head back against the cabinet.

She was rather surprised that she managed to drain the glass in two drinks, but shrugged as she put the used glass in the sink and jumped off the counter. Heading out of the kitchen, she wondered where to take herself next.

Yes, Jeremy was hungry, why do you ask?
He skidded into the kitchen as if someone had lit a fire under his tail. Strange, considering he didn’t have a tail in either form. Mmm, kitchen. That’s where the food was. After a few minutes of sifting through the refrigerator and a few of the cabinets, he had all the makings for the best sandwich ever laid out. And at the moment he couldn’t recall exactly why it was called a sandwich instead of something else and made himself a mental post-it to remember to look that up online when he got back to the records room to refresh his own memory. He was certain it was one of the many random useless facts and detail packed into his head but he couldn’t recall at the moment. Maybe because of the impending full moon. That always seemed to screw with his thinking process a bit. Stupid moon.
In a few very short minutes, Jeremy had constructed himself the sandwich to end all sandwiches, and took a seat, intent on enjoying his creation. All the ingredients of said creation were still sitting on the counter. He’d put them up in a minute. Food first.

She shuffled in, mind focused on whether she wanted that cold pizza or something more...and then she paused in the doorway, smiling when she smelled the scent of the other hungry person occupying the kitchen. Jeremy was cool, in Molly's opinion; funny and fun to be around. She swore he ran on some kind of everlasting battery...
"Hiya, Jers," she greeted with a grin, making a beeline for the fridge. "How's tricks?"

“Mrrphles.” That was pretty much the only greeting Molly was granted before Jeremy remembered that trying to speak while food was in your mouth wasn’t always a good idea. At least it had all stayed in his mouh and not gone flying across the table or anything. Chew, swallow, then talk.
“I mean, good,” he said, finally able to respond properly now that his throat was cleared. “There’s sandwich stuff…that I was gonna clean up, really….” As soon as he had finished the sandwich he was eating. And maybe made another and ate that too…
“at least I was as soon as I- how’re you?” Oh that thought train, it jumps tracks, it does. Especially with a full moon looming it did. An annoying fact that Jeremy was more than aware of. But Molly was nice. One of the few who didn’t seem too apt to lose patience with him, and even Jeremy himself knew how trying he could be at times. Probably part of the reason he stayed in the records room so much.

Molly giggle slightly from the fridge. "I'm doin' all right," came her reply as she rummaged among abandoned tupperware containers and half-full cans of soda. "I'm freakin' starving, though."
And where's that damned pizz - ha-HA!
The dark-haired wolf found the grease-spotted pizza box and pulled out two large, pepperoni incrusted slices, grabbing a soda to go along with it. She closed the fridge door with her hip and took a seat beside Jeremy while she began working on her first slice.
"Mmm...cheesy-goodness..."

“Thas good,” he semi mumbled through another bite of sandwich. And wow that pizza looked kind of good too. But he’d keep to his sandwiches at the moment and maybe hijack a slice or two to take with him back to the records room if there was any left after Molly’d had her fill. He’d be hungry again eventually and having food on hand meant the less times he’d have to leave his little hidey hole. Because you know, that was the picture of healthy interaction with one’s pack…
After another second Jeremy spoke, actually taking the time to pause while devouring his sandwich. “There’s someone new around.” Because yeah, that’s what they had been talking about and it wasn’t like Molly had any way of knowing that herself… Besides now that parts of his mind weren’t being preoccupied with gaming or historian duties- something that usually only happened when he removed himself from the records room for a bit- other things were piquing his interest. Which of course meant in about a minute and a half he’d be marveling at a way to come up with a calculation for how many ceiling tiles there were in the hotel or something like that…

She made to speak, then remembered that her mouth was full and that Jeremy probably wouldn't appreciate a 'lookie.' That, and choking would have been bad.
"Yeah, I know," she said with a nod and a smile after having swallowed. "I heard we we're gonna have a new wolf coming in. It'll be interesting to see a new face around."

Continued from: Mara's Bedroom with Mara.
As they had been walking downstairs, Cole had been telling Mara that she could meet Sissy and Cassidy - the two females from the music room - a little later, if she wanted. Heading towards the kitchen, he could already hear and smell two other wolves inside the room... eating, if his senses weren't lying to him.
"Ah, looks like you'll get to meet more of the pack while you eat," he said to her, smiling, even as he walked through the door. "Jeremy, Molly... I'd like you to meet Mara Harper." He stepped aside for Mara to enter, watching the other two younger wolves turn their eyes in his - and the doorway's - direction.

Mara looked into the room. The two people inside were tucking into some food, and her stomach growled. She gave a smile and a small wave. "Hello. That sandwich looks pretty good, mate. Though the pizza looks like heaven as well - though I think I'm hungry enough it doesn't matter." She walked into the room, looking at all the food still on the counter. Hesitating, she wasn't sure what was up for grabs for the new girl.

Molly smiled, nodding politely to her Alpha as she finished up her first slice of pizza and turned her attention to the new wolf. "Take whatever you like, Mara," she told the other woman warmly. "I think there's a whole 'nother half a pizza in the fridge, and as you can see, Jeremy here left out his sandwich ingredients. Help yourself."

"Thanks - I think I'll tuck into the pizza for speed's sake." Mara went to the fridge and pulled out the box - checking the toppings. Didn't really matter as long as it was pineapple free. Grabbing two of the pieces, she found a plate in the cupboard that Cole pointed to, and leaned against the counter, biting into the pizza. Her mouth was watering with hunger by the time she finally took a bite, and she finished the first piece in a matter of seconds. Biting into the second, she made a nod - "Sorry - " she swallowed. "I haven't eaten in about 14 hours. My shows always make me nervous and I never want to eat first." Not to mention I was waiting for the money to get food.
Looking at Cole she pointed at the food list on the counter. "If I put forward some of my gallery takings for the ...pack... can I place food orders too?" She looked to him because he seemed to be the one who had every answer, but she didn't mind who answered. Now that she was fed, her wolf was content for a while, and the thought that she'd be helped through this change made it seem less of a thing to fear.

"I don't want to sound arrogant, but it's not like we need the money. You're free to put forward the money, of course, but it's entirely your choice." He smiled gently, walking to the fridge for himself; he was kinda hungry now too, standing in the doorway and just smelling everything from where he leaned. "No pressure."
Taking a piece of the pizza for himself, he closed the fridge, and glanced to Jeremy and Molly. He didn't even need to ask where the two had probably been all day. Jeremy usually holed himself up in the records room, and Molly could often be found in the library, where the smaller piano was located; especially if there was someone else in the music room.

...Rats?!
At the mention of the little vermin, Molly's eyes went almost comically wide and she automatically lifted her bare feet off the floor, as though expecting one of the critters to launch itself from a corner and start feasting on her toes. She hated rats; the beady little eyes and the naked tail, and that horrid scurrying thing they did...blech.
"Anybody want my second slice?" The young wolf asked, eyes warily scanning the nooks and crannies of the kitchen. "Suddenly I'm not so hungry anymore..."

Mara kept her mouth shut. The new werewolf had such an intense personality, her wolf was almost taken aback by his presence. Thankfully it didn't feel the need to assert itself - all the new company was so...welcome to it.
"Well - ah - two pieces is good for me, though I might take it to go." Mara joked. Looking at the door, she wondered if she could find ..what were their names.... Cassidy and Sissy. Though it was really nice to be among people. She decided to wait a minute or two more.
