Stealthily, she poked her head into the section devoted to Force Investigation. Most technicians tended to avoid willingly seeking out someone from the division actually in the office in case it was spotted and people thought they were 'grassing' up another officer. But then to be fair, most of the technicians did. They saw the things that most others didn't, because they were so often unnoticed, placing them in prime position to know if anything hinky was happening.
Blu didn't care about that right now. Stealth just made the walk different and gave her a distraction from her worry about Flynn. She had stopped twice on the way to nip into rooms and use the phones there to call his home and each time she had gotten his answer phone. She snagged the arm of Dennis as he moved past her, spinning him back to face her.
“Hey Denny. Is Miles about?”
“I think he went to the break room.”
