Deiniol continued to subtly lean into her touches without thinking about it or even realising what he was doing. The brush of her fingers against his too hot skin was cooling and relaxing, promising relief from the fire that was starting to burn through his body, no doubt a side effect of the unknown drug in him.
Rapidly he blinked as she agreed to his request, trying to see the vampire clearly through the light mist that seemed to have draped itself over both his mind and his eyesight. Yelena twisted and bent in front of him, making it near impossible for the young man to focus on her clearly. There was so much he wanted to ask, obvious questions such as if she was going to let him live or more unusual questions that Denny didn’t even know he had wanted to ask, questions about the vampire state – he was always interested in new things.
“The part of Russia you come from, what’s it like?” He asked instead, tone wistful. Denny had never been to Russia and it was starting to look like he never would.

For a long moment Yelena considered Deiniol like a cat might look at a mouse, her smile was sly and cold, her eyes narrowed slightly, thought that had more to do with trying to focus herself through the rush of drugs that had hit her senses than anything more. Then she sighed air she didn't need, "Russia." She repeated, "I lived in the north when I was a girl," Yelena said, "east of Moscow in a place called Nizhny Novgorod. It was cold. Cold and wonderful. The river froze every winter and stayed solid for four months at least, we would go skating and race one another to a great tree in the embankment."
Her long, thin and ghostly fingers played with his collar autonomously, "Maybe we can go there one day..." she prodded slightly, her manipulations unending even now. In the current moment she didn't know if she would ever really take her new toy to Russia, travelling in this day and age was complicated after all and she wasn't all that sure how long he would last anyway... but still. "That is all you need know for now." She concluded, her expression becoming a little harder.

Had Deiniol been in full control of himself it was likely he wouldn’t have known how to react to Yelena’s little story. The young man had all manner of preconceived notions of how murderess and killers acted, spoke, behaved. Giving a captive a small story about their childhood without any obvious sinister undertones was nowhere near his list. There was enough of him still clinging onto control to realise it was all a little odd, that it more things friends would speak to one another about instead of a woman so clearly in control of everything.
He blinked slowly as her voice hardened, mind still struggling to process everything she had said and offered, mind even more confused. Denny couldn’t recall ever feeling more lost, worst even than the time he had fallen and become trapped – at least he had known in his heart, that his family were coming for him. The confusion was probably clear in his eyes as he nodded slowly, agreeing to her words.

"We made a deal, sweetness," Yelena said almost coyly, a sculpted brow lifting as she regarded her prisoner, the hardness of her tone mirrored the steady decline of her high. Nothing ever lasted very long in her vampiric body, she was technically dead after all, so she never held very high expectations for such sensations to linger for very long. The hand that had been caressing Deiniol moments before slipped to his throat where her fingers closed around his warm flesh just tight enough to feel his pulse throbbing through his jugular but not tight enough to restrict speech or respiration. Not yet anyway.
"I told you of my home in Russia, and now you shall tell me what it is that people call you instead of Deiniol." the vampire leaned in, a snarl in her voice a she continued, "Let me give you a hint, faster would be better for you."

The drug was still firmly in Deiniol’s system, being pumped around his body at ever increasing speeds as the adrenaline and fear kicked in at the hand around his throat, making his heart beat even faster as he stared at her. The blood loss from where she had bitten him wasn’t helping matters either, making his world a light headed one, where it was almost impossible to focus. Deiniol swallowed again, the fingers at his throat feeling awfully close and constricting.
“Denny.” He almost whispered the word, voice soft and child-like. It was almost a child’s name as well, informal and one that should have only been used by those he liked and trusted, not given to Yelena for her to abuse. Deiniol knew this, but his head hurt, the pleasure was almost gone and there was still that foreboding presence at his neck.

"Denny." Yelena gave a self satisfied smirk as she spoke, thrilled to have gotten the information she wanted, even if she'd had to give a little of herown to get it. That wasn't important at the end of the day. For a moment she looked at him, apparently thinking deeply and then the smirk grew to a full, dark smile and she released his throat to slap her hand against his cheek, clutching the other side of her face with her thumb, the crux between her index finger and thumb under his chin.
"Well, Denny," she repeated his name, full of cold fervour, though with the smile in place she looked manic, "we're going to have fun, you and I."

All the constant moving on Yelena’s part, grabbing his hair, then his neck, then his face and so forth, it was all hurting Deiniol’s head. It was hard enough as it was to keep her in focus, the rest of the world bleeding together around the edges whenever he wasn’t staring directly at it, without her making it worse by moving. The new touch against his cheek elicited a very soft gasp from him, as every change of touch had done.
He blinked at her smile, his instinctive survival issues finally starting to kick in. That smile meant nothing good and her promise about fun seemed wrong at best. Denny didn’t think they were going to have fun, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly as he watched her, trying to stay conscious.

Yelena's eyes slipped out of focus, her attention waning briefly as the effects of the drug wore off. Nothing tended to leave a lasting effect on her body... what with her being dead an all. It left her forever seeking a high that could last for longer than a few minutes, it had lead to the whim of capturing her current play thing. Her little puppy. Denny.
Mouth twisting into a disturbing smirk, the vampire shifted on his lap, her hip hugging his navel and her arm winding across his shoulders to draw her ribcage in against his. "Tell me something." It was a command, not a question. If he didn't tell her then she would have to make him and Yelena had a 'toy box' full of tricks to do just that. "Why are you alive?"

Why was he alive? It was a question that everyone faced at some point in their lives, he supposed. Denny swallowed hard, feeling a thick and possibly imaginary lump being forced down his throat as he tried to focus on something besides the woman-vampire who had settled on his lap and clearly had little intention of moving off, just trying to get into a more comfortable position. Vaguely he was aware of her body pressed against his or perhaps with the latest movement, she had pulled his body against hers. Truthfully, Denny didn’t know what was going on and he was hardly in any fit state to complain or try and make he move, no matter how much he was slowly starting to realise he didn’t want her so close.
“God’s will…” Denny whispered, his own belief in the words ringing out clearly despite the low tone they had been spoken in. While the current situation he found himself in wasn’t a pleasant one, not with the edge being taken off the drugs and the uncomftoable sense of nausea that came with the amount of blood loss he had suffered, he truly believed that somehow, it was all part of the Maker’s great plan.

Yelena chuckled, pulled air into her cold dead lungs to make the sound and enjoyed it. For a long moment she looked at him, considering his appearance, his words. It was going to be such fun breaking him down, ripping up his faith into little pieces and trampling it underfoot. The vampire had no qualms about it and no end of confidence in her abilities. How many humans had she crushed? Too many to count now, and none as interesting as her new little toy.
"God?" she sneered after a few minutes spent in intense silence, "God is not a name I like to hear, Denny." There was a chiding tone to her voice, a severe glint in her eyes. "There is no God," she continued, leaning closer to him, breaking eye contact so that she could move her lips to his ear, dark folds of her hair tumbling over his shoulder before she whispered; "Only Sin."

POST TIME SKIP
It had been a fruitful two weeks.
Not in the way she usually measured such things, Denny had set no new records, she had kept humans for up to two months in the past but usually at the two week stage she was already using them and a punching bag and convenient source of sustenance. So that was, in fact, a record right there. His faith was incredible. Deep. Seductive to Yelena in that she wanted to tear it out of him and as of yet she had not managed that. However she hadn't pulled out the big guns, so to speak. In fact for the past two weeks she had left him more or les intact, his kin at least, No broken bones, no dislocated fingers or gouged eyes or sliced ears.
Words could cut so much deeper with some subjects and Yelena had a good feeling about their affect on Deiniol and wanted to experiment with pain in small increments. After all she had a good feeling about Denny, she didn't want to go to town on that physique of his only to regret it later.
All gussied up in black velvet and leather attire that while not too revealing in the traditional sense of the word, bordered on the edge of decency, the vampire made her way down into the basement of her home, Miron followed her, claws clacking on the bare steps in the wake of his mistress. For some reason the Doberman had taken a shine to Deiniol and as soon and she unlocked and pushed the door open to the gloomy basement 'cell' he snaked past her and wandered in, seeking out the human male. Yelena followed, smiling coolly as she did so. Miron was such an excellent judge of character.
"How are we this evening?" she asked, not looking towards Denny herself, simply moving into the room and flicking on the light switch which ignited the bare bulb in the ceiling and them moving to the table upon which she set down a wide, flat cardboard box.

His life and focus had narrowed to moments when the fampir was there and when she wasn’t. When she was there it was a haze of confusion and humiliation, deep cutting words and violence of a sort. Although she had yet to do anything that left any long lasting marks, sticking with choking him until he passed out and slaps hard enough to concuss, there had always been the threat of more deadly violence lurking on the horizon, an ominous danger that had yet to really appear but there nevertheless. When she wasn’t there, he was left with his thoughts, and any pain she had delivered, mental or physical. Thinking, trapped, was almost worse than the pain itself.
The greeting was a ritual of sorts, something that Deiniol could cling onto and even though he hated himself for it, part of him was absurdly grateful for the repetition, for something he could understand in a world that had otherwise shook him about so drastically. He shifted minutely in the seat, as far as the bindings would allow, eyes fixed warily on the box. That was a new feature and he didn’t like the look of it. Carefully, Denny licked his lips, trying to wet the dry skin as he forced himself to speak the words that he always used to reply.
“Alive Miss. Yelena.” Speaking was an effort after being alone for a few hours – had it only been a few? He’d long ago lost the ability to tell, having to rely on Yelena to tell him if it was day or night – and his voice was slightly horse. Miron settled down next to him, dark eyes fixed on the young man.

"Good." Yelena said coolly, watching him with a raised eyebrow for a few silent moment before she rested the fingertips of one hand on the box she had set o the table. "I have brought you a present, my dear. One I'm sure you're going to be grateful for after two weeks down here in my little love nest." The vampire gave a short laugh at that, amused by her own joke, and perhaps the hint of foreshadowing in her words.
After another pause she clicked her fingers and whistled, then said a Russian word and Miron stood on all fours again, clacking around the table to stand at Yelena's side. Running a hand over his head, the smiled slowly at Deiniol and then removed a key form a nondescript locale in her bodice, it wasn't exactly bulging with pockets after all, and she moved tot eh door, locking the it with slow, deliberate motions. Deiniol was trapped and she wanted him to know it.
Then she turned again, hands on her hips, key secreted away again, "I'm going to untie you, lover, I want you to unwrap it yourself. Stretch your legs a bit. If you try to escape I will punish you. If you scream I will punish you. If you try to over power me... well, we both know that's pointless, you get the idea." She smirked, "Any questions?"

Two weeks? He’d known it had been a long time since she had brought him down here, days stretching endlessly out in front of him but somehow the actual amount of time had been lost in the confusion, Deiniol not sure if he was surprised that it had only been two weeks instead of less or confused because it had felt that much longer.
The lack of real sleep was starting to take its toll on the young man; an hour here or there, and tied upright to a chair didn’t provide the most restful and energy recharging of times and from the dark rings around his eyes, made more vivid by the paling of his skin due to lack of sunlight made it clear that sleep deprivation was sinking its claws into him. Thoughts of escape, even trying to make a break for it or look towards the door didn’t occur to him until she threatened him otherwise. Even then his mind was dull and sluggish, instinctively flinching in fear at the thought of her punishing him. Denny knew, somewhere in his mind, that she would hurt him whatever happened over the course of her ‘visit’ because she always did but if he could reduce the pain, even a little then surely it would be worth it.
“I’ll behave,” Denny promised, never once looking towards the door, shoulder slumped in defeat. Everything was still a haze around him and selfishly he wanted to keep that protection for just a little longer before she dragged it away and if that meant agreeing with her, he could do that.

"Good boy." Yelena cooed, smiling slightly, lips twisting to reveal her fangs as she watched him for a moment. Then she was moving, one arm swinging fluidly at her side, the other settled at her waist still as she approached Deiniol. For a moment she stood beside him, not facing him, but her head tilted in his direction as she drew in a breath of air she didn't need just to drink in the scent of his fear, the sweat on his skin, his natural musk. Relishing it. Committing it to memory. Every detail of the previous two weeks was stored away in her mind.
After a quiet moment she turned and undid his bindings, trailing her cool fingers across the back of his shoulders as she rounded the chair and moved to stand beside the table, indicating the box again with a lift of a perfect eyebrow, "I took the liberty of taking your measurement while you were unconscious. If there's a problem, I'll see to it." In a way that would leave a certain tailor unlikely to be walking under his own steam for the rest of his natural born days.
"Open it." She said quietly.
