Name: Dante.
Nicknames: None, at least, if he has one, his pack mates haven't let him in on it. That, and it would be rather difficult to make a nickname from 'Dante.'
Race: Lycanthrope; specifically, he was born a werewolf.
Occupation: Alpha Male.
Gender: Male.
Skin Color: Caucasian and fairly tanned.
Age: Appears to be in his late twenties, but is actually 798.
Clothing: Dante generally wears whatever he feels like, although the colors usually aren't varied, black being the most popular. He will wear reds, grays, and whites, sometimes blues, but for the most part, the ensemble is black. His outfit has a black cloth duster that drops to his ankles, and a black sleeveless leather vest that goes to his knees for warmer nights. His shirts and pants vary depending on the weather itself - sometimes he won't even bother with a shirt - and the outfit is completed with fingerless gloves and steel-toe capped boots. He sometimes will wear a black skullcap on colder nights.
Height: 6'.
Weight: 189 lbs.
Tattoos: Dante has three tribal tattoos: one of a howling wolf on his left shoulder blade, a circle-shaped one on his right bicep, and one shaped into a clawed arm trailing down his left forearm.
Piercing's: None. He sees no point, as they would tear out upon the transformation.
Jewelry: Same as the piercings. Too easy to lose during a fight or the change.
Body Modifications: Besides the tattoos, Dante has a few scars from past battles strewn across his torso, the most notable being one across his chest, the blade having gone rather deep, and it shows, the scar being particularly grisly.
Wolf Form
Dante's Werewolf Form
Build: Muscular and pretty broad in human form, Dante's wolf form reflects that. He's capable of moving as a biped or a quadruped. Each limb ripples with power, and he has a broad skeleton, built for speed, power, the hunt, and the kill.
Height: 9'4 bipedal, 4'8 quadruped.
Weight: 386 lbs.
Hair: Dark brown, almost black, with lighter streaks through it and jet black shades as well. It's feral, wild and thick, with a small mane formed around the sides of the skull.
Eyes: A darkened shade of silver.
Defining Marks: No tail.
Pack
Pack: Dante's - his own, led by himself and his mate, Rayne.
Position: Alpha male.
Territory: Los Angeles, or, to be more precise, around half of the city, the other half of the city belonging to an old 'rival' of his, Cole Stanton.
Hair
Length: Pretty long, especially in the back, where it reaches the bottom of his neck. The sides fall down to his jaw, covering his ears, and while it's generally parted in the front, it can sometimes hang down over his brow, nearly covering all of his eyes.
Style: Dante usually lets it hang down freely, letting it remain in a slightly natural feral manner, although it can appear more tidied at certain times.
Color: Black with shades of a medium brown here and there, all throughout.
Facial Hair
Length: Kept short, but thick, trailing over the majority of his lower jaw.
Style: It's been formed into a thin beard and goatee. It's always kept short, never becoming overly long or too thick.
Eyes
Color: A blend of chocolate brown and amber.
Oddities: Any intense or sudden change in emotion can result in his eyes flashing or flooding out into the color of the wolf's eyes.
Personality: Dante has become a hardened individual over the years, and it shows in the way he carries out himself in his role as Alpha. He's calculating, ruthless, and intent, and will do whatever is necessary to survive and protect his pack. There's a bit of a sense of humor in there also, but it's more blunt and sarcastic than anything else, but he can be a bit playful at times, mainly around his mate. His pack, in question, is filled with the best fighters and trackers he can find, without exception; after his father died by vampire's hands centuries earlier, he refuses to lose any more of his pack, be it by the leeches or rival packs. While he is hardened and somewhat cold, that cannot be said with his pack. He cares for each and every one of them, and will fight for them, as savagely and brutally as possible. As if now his pack is ruling over half of the city of Los Angeles, and he will protect his territory from anyone who dares intrude. When it comes to Cole, the Alpha of the other pack in Los Angeles, Dante holds him in contempt, having always had since they were younger in the same pack. This isn't to say that he completely loathes the older wolf, but if it came down to it, he would not hesitate to kill the opposing Alpha. Dante also holds some hints of a cautious approach to Mackenzie, the former single Alpha in his and Rayne's pack, now brought down past the Betas in the chain of command. He is more than aware of her distaste for him and his mate, and while he doesn't wish to merely throw her out of the pack, he is wary that she will attempt to strike against him and Rayne, to try and kill both of them and regain her title.
And then there's Rayne, the Alpha female and his mate; his greatest strength and greatest weakness. He's fiercely protective, devoted, and possessive of his lover, and will fight for her, blindly even. He would lay down his life to save her, and if she's to be hurt, the wrongdoer would be in for a slow, agonizing end. With the power he's acquired, not to mention his title, he has grown somewhat arrogant over the years, but he knows when he's beaten, and will retreat if the situation calls for it. In regards to vampires, he loathes the leeches with a passion; he also does not hold the most respect for humans either. And while he dislikes Cole, he does hold a good amount of respect for the Alpha werewolf; based on what he's seen, Cole's a very good Alpha to his pack, and honors that. He doesn't tread into territory he knows isn't his, but if something were to happen, or Cole decided to overstep his boundaries and strike first, then Dante would unleash a savage fury that wouldn't leave anyone in his wake standing.
Weaknesses: Like all the others of his kind, he's weakened by silver. Touching it will burn, and having it enter his body could very well kill him if it got close to a major organ. Also, he's immensely protective of his pack, even more so of his mate, completely devoted to them, and enemies could see this as something to use to their advantage.
Abilities: As a lycanthrope, he has all the perks of one: heightened strength, speed, agility, senses, a pain threshold off the chart, one that he's built up even more, the ability to leap and fall great distances without harming himself, and increased healing, so long as the weapon wasn't made of silver. These are increased significantly due to his age and experience, and he can also call on the wolf swiftly, even able to change singular parts of his body while the rest of his form remains the same. He's a skilled tracker and tactician, and an immensely capable fighter, with weapons, hand-to-hand, or with his wolf. Also - although no one except Rayne knows about this - he knows how to paint, something he learned when he was younger and practices every so often.
Weapons: Given that he's a werewolf, his body can become a weapon quickly, with lethal results, but with his age and experience, he knows that sometimes that's not enough. Because of this, he has a fairly large amount of weaponry, the most notable being two Desert Eagles, kept in holsters at his hips, a single Beretta holstered at his left boot, a Benelli tactical shotgun, and several bladed weapons, the most notable being two bowie knives and two swords: one katana and one ninja sword.
Prized Possessions: A ring that belonged to his mother, that his father gave to him when he was younger. He never wears it, instead keeps it in a small box in his and Rayne's chambers. Beyond that, his pack, and Rayne. While some might roll their eyes at that, Dante will fight viciously for each member of his pack, especially his mate, and will protect them to the end.
Dante's Ring
Home(s): The Four Seasons, with the rest of his pack.
History: Born in 1208 to a pack in England, Dante was a bit of an adventurous lycanthrope, even at a young age. His mother died when he was young - really young, he doesn't even remember what she looked like - so he was raised by his father, one of the pack's top fighters. He was quickly taught at a young age how to defend himself, and he strove to become stronger over the years, which he did, even though there were times when he would push himself too hard. For the most part, he was somewhat friendly around the other members of the pack, although he and another of the werewolves - the son of the Beta pair, to be precise - by the name of Cole Stanton seemed to have an aggressive grudge against one another. It was always split apart when violence loomed on the horizon between the two, but they weren't very fond of each other. The exact details as to how it began are lost on the Alpha male.
When Dante's father and Cole's parents were killed in a fight, years later, Dante left the pack, no longer comfortable with any of the members. He snuck off in the middle of the night, traveling around the country for several years, wallowing in his grief, unknowingly happening into the territory of another pack of lycanthropes. For a while they weren't even aware of his presence, until one of the female fighters by the name of Rayne spotted him while out on a hunt by herself. Instead of reporting him to the single Alpha of that pack, she took pity on the lycanthrope, and told him somewhere that he could stay and be safe, at least for a while. 'A while' turned out to be a few days, as several of the pack members ended up going out on a larger hunt, including Rayne and the Alpha female, Mackenzie, and they happened upon where Dante was staying.
Mackenzie had just thought to kill Dante and be done with it, but Rayne ended up putting herself between Dante and the Alpha female, and in an attempt to keep her from killing him, challenged her for the title of Alpha. The two ended up battling savagely, and by the end both were severely wounded, but then, in the deciding moments, Rayne tore one of Mackenzie's eyes from her socket, winning the title of Alpha female. Because of that, Dante was accepted into the pack, and it wasn't long before he and Rayne became mates, and he rose to the rank of Alpha male. He took on the title warily at first, but as time went on he became more comfortable, slowly hardening to lead his pack easier. Because of Rayne saving his life as she did, he's incredibly loyal to her, and would bow to her every whim should she ask him too. Since then, the pack - even Mackenzie, who while not being knocked down to Omega, was demoted past the title of Beta - has traveled, finally settling their territory in Los Angeles, taking over half of the city more or less, the other half being occupied by Cole Stanton and his pack.
