Name: Richard Grenier. Goes only by Grenier, and it’s wondered if he even remembers that he has a first name.
Nicknames: None. Given his position and personality, nickname calling is usually avoided.
Race: Turned werewolf.
Occupation: Omega.
Gender: Male.
Skin Color: Caucasian, although fairly pale despite it.
Age: 218, although he appears to be in his mid-thirties.
Clothing: Grenier usually hates wearing clothing, but knows that he can’t go around the pack or outside completely nude. However, if he’s in the pack’s home, he’ll usually just wear a pair of loose cargo or sweat pants and nothing else. When he goes out, he’ll usually be seen in loose pants and a leather duster that reaches his ankles, and no shirt. He sometimes will wear boots, but for the most part isn’t a big fan of footwear. Beyond this, there’s not much to his attire, as he doesn’t have the biggest fashion sense. Whatever works and won’t result in him getting punched or growled at works best in his mind.
Height: 6’1.
Weight: 175 lbs.
Tattoos: None. Doesn’t see any point and has a large paranoia of needles.
Piercing’s: Same as tattoos.
Jewelry: Same as tattoos and piercings, with the exception of the needles.
Body Modifications: Several scars strewn over his limbs, chest, back, neck, and parts of his jaw. However, none of them are overly noticeable given that they were all made with needles or very thin bladed weapons. The only reason they even show up at all is because they were made from silver items.
Wolf Form
Grenier’s Wolf Form
Build: Muscular and broad but not overly large, with a very lupine head. There’s noticeable power spread throughout the torso and limbs, and though he is capable of bipedal movement perfectly, he rarely uses it given his mindset, preferring to use all four limbs to chase his targets down, but he will every so often use it for combat, but this is rare.
Height: 8’11 bipedal; 5’ quadruped.
Weight: 341 lbs.
Hair: A dark brown that has hints of copper spread throughout. It’s not overly noticeable unless he’s in a well-lit room; very feral and almost shielding across the entire body, with a subtle mane of wild spikes around the neck and jaw area.
Eyes: Golden amber.
Defining Marks: No tail.
Pack
Pack: Rayne’s.
Position: Omega.
Territory: Roughly half of Los Angeles.
Hair
Length: Down past his shoulders, and the front and sides brush against his ears and brow respectively.
Style: As-it-comes. The only thing he ever bothers to do with it is tie the back up so it’s not completely haphazard, and even then it’s still impressively feral looking.
Color: Red.
Facial Hair
Length: Marginally thick, but a lot of the time it’s pretty scruffy, but still far from stubble.
Style: He keeps it in an almost scruffy beard.
Eyes
Color: Blue.
Oddities: Whenever he gets angry, or his wolf is taking control and he’s changing, or he’s simply fighting, they’ll flash or flood entirely to the golden amber color of his wolf.
Personality: Grenier isn’t exactly what one would call mentally unstable. It’s not that, it’s more that his wolf is usually more in charge than his human side, given the trauma of his earlier years. Rarely talks around anyone, if anyone period, the single exception to that being with his mate, Emma – the fact that he got a mate is still a surprise to some of the pack – and even then it can be kept to a minimum. He’s extremely loyal and devoted to the Alphas, although can sometimes be quite wary of them, the Betas, and Mackenzie. A good majority of the time he doesn’t even register that he has a position in the pack, let alone the bottom of the chain, but whenever he does, it’s obvious that it’s something he doesn’t care about. He loves to hunt and kill, particularly vampires, but he will also kill humans, mainly drug dealers, but Rayne and Dante have made sure he doesn’t do that often, if ever, so he sticks with vamps. When he fights and hunts, he’s intensively brutal and savage, even when he’s using more human techniques. With Emma he’s extremely submissive half the time, and incredibly affectionate and protective. Well, extremely protective is the best term to use; possessive to. He rarely lets any male get close to her that’s outside the pack, and if she gets hurt, ‘head for the hills’ would be putting it lightly if they were vampire or human or a werewolf younger than him. He’s immensely devoted to her, and will blindly fight for her no matter what the circumstances.
Weaknesses: Beyond silver, Grenier has a large fear of needles given a large amount of torture that was inflicted on him when he was younger. Also, his state of mind can make him vulnerable if pushed in the right/wrong direction, particularly if Emma is the thing that is used to push him. If she is what is used, he will go into a vicious frenzied state, especially on the full moon where there’s even a chance he won’t be able to tell who is friend or foe.
Abilities: Grenier has all the regular perks of lycanthropy: heightened strength, endurance, speed, healing, the ability to fall and leap from high heights, and control over the wolf. He doesn’t need to change on full moons, but he prefers to, he just doesn’t lose control of his mind despite that his wolf is usually the one more in control. He’s an exceptionally talented hunter, combatant, and killer, but not as skilled as many of the wolves in the pack. But given his savagery and attitude it does help balance it out at least partially.
Weapons: Grenier hates guns, and will never touch them. And while he does prefer using his wolf form, he does have a bit of a fondness for knives, and owns a small collection of them.
Knives
Prized Possessions: His mate Emma.
Home(s): The Four Seasons, with the rest of the pack.
History: Not much is known about Grenier; how he turned, how he became the way it is. Although it’s assumed by the pack that he gave himself self-inflicted amnesia to deal with it, which caused the final push into his lupine self. What is known is that he first encountered Rayne’s pack some time after being changed, found wandering through the woods around Paris in human form, seeming dazed and covered in at least a dozen different types of blood. Upon investigating around the area, they discovered the remains of what appeared to be a fighting ring operated by vampires where lycanthropes would battle to the death. But all that was left was ashes and blood and corpses of several wolves, a rebellion obvious what had happened. Grenier didn’t speak of the matter however, not even acknowledging it until he was brought to the ring and snapped, nearly killing one of the younger wolves had Rayne and Dante not interfered, the former knocking him unconscious.
Grenier was taken into the pack, deciding that letting him wander around was too large of a risk given his mental condition. Due to said condition, he was kept at the bottom of the pack as the Omega, but none of the wolves asserted dominance over him for very long, as he didn’t quite understand what was going on, and almost attacked one out of confusion and slight fear. So after that he was left alone, and he kept to himself.
After a while however he took interest in one of the other pack wolves, a female named Emma. He made advances, only slight ones, but affectionate, to see if she was interested. To his delight, she was, and it wasn’t long after that that they mated, and he’s remained incredibly loyal and close to her ever since.
