Name: Rayne
Nicknames: Was once called Ray by another pack member. She quickly made it clear not to call her that within earshot.
Race: Werewolf - pureborn
Occupation: Alpha Female.
Gender: Female
Skin Color: Fairly tan, though not too dark.
Age: Despite her youthful appearance, Rayne is 800, not in her early thirties.
Clothing: Rayne is almost always seen in either tight jeans or leather pants, often with zipped pockets - and always looking rather worn - and either tanks or long sleeved shirts, depending on the weather and where she's at. She often wears a short, denim jacket with tank tops, sometimes adding either a leather vest or a belt with an intricate, metal buckle to give the outfit a Western flare. She has a fondness for Westerns and the style that usually comes to mind when thinking of the wild west, and that usually is apparent in her clothing. When on hunts where the Change is planned, however, she goes for more practical clothing - black pants, either cargo or stretchable, sturdy slacks, fitted black shirts, and a black duster. She usually wears combat boots everywhere if she wears shoes, but sometimes can be seen in semi-high heeled, dress boots, usually when out at a club. Occasionally she'll wear clothing that isn't so worn, again, usually at clubs, but the outfits are more dressed up versions of her usual attire than actual, different outfits. Accessories usually just consist of black, fingerless gloves, one or two of her lucky pocket knives, and one piece of jewelry.
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 115 lbs.
Tattoos: None, she never really had enough motivation to go in and get any.
Piercings: Pretty much feels the same towards them as she does tattoos.
Jewelry: Rayne owns only one piece of jewelry - a Celtic knot ring given to her by a male she'd once been close to. She almost always wears it on a chain around her neck, except on occasions she knows she'll have to change during. She's extremely protective of the ring, and let's nobody touch it, save Dante, and she still feels antsy whenever he touches it.

Body Modifications: Four long gashes across her chest, from her fight with Mackenzie, the previous Alpha.
Wolf Form

Build: Tall, with extremely long legs and rather long arms, a muscular build with semi-bulky chest, shoulders, and neck, while the rest is slender and toned, almost feline even in her facial features. Rayne's form is capable of moving on all fours, but she much prefers to walk on her hind legs.
Height: 9'2"
Weight: 300 lbs.
Hair: Short, smooth black fur covering her entire body, thicker around her elbows, back, and chest.
Eyes: Steel gray, though in the shadows they appear almost black.
Defining Marks: Feline features.
Pack
Pack: Hers. Rayne won the Alpha title of the pack she was raised in, and leads it along with her mate, Dante.
Position: Alpha Female.
Territory: Half of L.A.
Hair
Length: Most of it comes down to her chest, a little bit coming past and some shorter.
Style: There's not much style to Rayne's hair - she pretty much leaves it hanging and untamed. She gets away with it looking only semi-messy due to it being so straight.
Color: Almost all black - but some dark brown can be visible if the lighting's bright enough.
Facial Hair[/u]
Length: Not really applicable.
Style: N/A.
Eyes[/u]
Color: Light brown - usually they appear darker though.
Oddities: When Rayne wishes to display her emotions if they're extreme enough, or in warning, or if her wolf is rising to the surface, her eyes will flash and sometimes completely flood to their lupine shade.
Personality: Rayne's a fairly laid back individual most of the time, has been for most of her life - though for different reasons before she had Dante. Though not power-hungry and never really after the responsibility of being Alpha, Rayne doesn't shy away from them, and since winning her title, she's devoted herself to being a good mate and good leader at the same time, though there are times where she has difficulty dividing her attention from Dante. Far from overbearing, but not quite loose enough to be a lax Alpha, Rayne likes to make sure her pack does follow a few rules to ensure their safety, but doesn't enforce them as strictly as the previous Alpha, Mack. She shares the responsibility with Dante, and sometimes hands over full authority if she feels he could handle the situation better, but Rayne feels that the responsibility lies more on her shoulders than his, due to her having been the one to beat Mack and earn her title. She is loyal to her pack and tries her best to make sure they're safe and protected, and her fierce possessiveness makes it a certainty that anyone who messes with her pack, be it one member or all of them, will suffer for it. With her pack she is laid back and enjoys being with them much of the time, but everyone knows that she does prefer alone time with Dante. However her devotion to her mate does not take up all of her time and she spars and "hangs out" with many members of the pack often, and is not just their leader, but friends with many of them, since she grew up among a few of them.
With Dante, however, she is quite different when they're alone. Though affectionate, instinctively possessive, and quite protective despite his capabilities with self defense, in private Rayne becomes even more affectionate and tender, and extremely playful and open. When with her pack, most everyone knows she is somewhat guarded at all times, unable to fully relax around them - some of them even know why - yet with Dante, Rayne has finally found someone she can trust completely and without fear. Rayne loves to play with her mate, in wolf form and human, and enjoys being dominant as much as being submissive. She always rewards Dante when he pleases her, and strives hard to please him as much. Her heart belongs solely to him, and she has never regretted defending him, no matter how much burden she ever has to bear as Alpha. For Dante, she would do anything, without question almost always. This does not mean she always bows to his wishes when it comes to their pack and leadership, and Rayne will question Dante's motives and decisions sometimes, to make sure that they are doing what is best and what must be done.
Weaknesses: There's the most obvious weakness - silver - and the second most obvious - Dante. Having a mate she's so devoted to, and is so devoted to her, is a double-edged sword. It can be a strength, but enemies can use it as a weakness as well. Members of her pack could also be used as a weakness, due to her emotional attachment and devotion to her responsibilities. Rayne also has claustrophobia - she cannot abide being stuck in places where she is unable to change or move around well, and the feeling of being boxed in, if strong enough, can make her react blindly.
Abilities: Naturally, Rayne has the usual enhancements - speed, strength, agility, balance, pain threshold, healing, and lastly, senses. She also has control over the wolf, as well as the ability to change singular parts of herself, though the latter she doesn't use very often. As well as her natural abilities, Rayne is also a skilled fighter and has excellent aim - aided greatly by her heightened senses and years of training. Her favorite weapons are her sai and her shuriken, though she loves using her knives just as much. Her Colt 51 Navy is more for emergencies, but she knows how to use it, and won't hesitate if the need for it arises.
Weapons: A wolf dagger - one she saw in a souvenir shop actually, and instantly fell for -, a wolf's head bowie knife, black shuriken, black sai, and a Colt 51 Navy.

Prized Possessions: Rayne doesn't have many prized possessions, but there are three things that she does hold precious. Two pocket knives, given to her by her mate, due to her love of wolf themed weapons and her hobby of pocket knife collecting; then there's her ring, which was given to her by a male werewolf in her pack that died almost three hundred years ago during a hunt. The ring she keeps as a reminder of the past and that even her kind are not invincible. The pocket knives she often wears on her person for luck.

Home(s): The Four Season hotel with the rest of her pack.
History: A pureborn werewolf to the same pack she now leads, Rayne grew up not far after Mackenzie, though with less drive and savagery. Her parents were mere fighters in the pack, and the politics of pack life held no interest for them or their child. Rayne was raised to be a fighter, and strived hard to be a good enough fighter to be a leader, but had no desire to actually earn that title - especially when there were others who seemed better suited and desired it more. Rayne loved her life free of those responsibilities, free of duty, able to indulge her wolf with some of her closer pack mates, including an Irish male three years younger than her. Ian and Rayne became inseparable as they grew up, living for their wolves. But when Rayne's parents died protecting the pack from a clan of vampires, Rayne lost her love for life. While she didn't become embittered or vengeful or wallow in her misery, she lost must of her fire, her wolf grew listless, and for decades she continued to just exist. It seemed to be hardest for Ian to accept, and he tried to comfort her by telling her his true feelings. Rayne, however, loved Ian in a different manner than he loved her, and she was faced the with burden of breaking his heart even more.
Ian took the news well, visibly, and he continued to remain close to Rayne, attempting to bring back her spirit. For a while, Rayne managed to gain enough back to make it seem as though they were back to normal. But when Ian died during a hunt after humans tracked them down, Rayne became even worse. She kept the ring he had given her as he died, the only thing she cared about anymore, really. Again, she did not wallow in grief or silently seethe with a lust for vengeance - she just lost her desire to truly live like she used to. She went through the motions, accepted the changes in the pack as the way things were, they didn't truly effect her anymore.
Until the day that she met Dante. A grieving male, Rayne felt her heart go out to him, and she envied him even, for being able to grieve unlike her. Knowing what Mack would do if she found out a rogue was on her territory, Rayne helped Dante hide, hoping she could keep Mack from discovering his presence while he remained on their territory. But his presence was a secret only for a few days, and when out on a hunt, Mack found out about Dante, and Rayne was forced to challenge Mack to save Dante's life, and her own - she knew that Mack would likely kill her for her betrayal. Rayne managed to tear out Mack's eye, and then won the fight, and the Alpha title. Taking Dante into the pack, Rayne began to try and adjust to her new life, the return of old feelings inside her, and new feelings starting to build. Her love for life was returning, her wolf wild and eager again, and Rayne found herself attracted to Dante. They mated not too long after she defeated Mack, and have been together since, leading the pack. Rayne remains loyal to Dante and her pack mates, now residing in LA.
