Name: Guinevere Ogden
Nicknames: She's not particularly fussy about what people call her and will answer to Gwen, Gwenny, Gwinny, Geegee, Vere and any other way people can find to shorten her name. One of the more creative nicknames is Oggy.
Race: Werewolf - bitten
Occupation: Pack Member
Gender: Female
Skin Color: Caucasian but extremely pale (she likes being pale)
Age: 162, but looks in her early 20's.
Clothing: Gwen's not really a slave to fashion; she'll wear whatever catches her eye of a morning, usually jeans and the first top that comes to hand. Having said that, she does have a lot of clothes because she adores dressing up whether to just look nice or to have a little fun. He favourite "costume" is her customised pirate outfit.
Height: 5' 2"
Weight: 125lb
Tattoos: Her first was a small tribal type wolf head design on her ankle which, while it hurt, wasn't so bad. Stupidly, she then decided to get some stonking great wings on her back and not surprisingly, they hurt a considerable amount more. In fact, she passed out during the process. She loves her tattoos, but she's sworn off getting any more after that one.

Piercings: Her ears, in which she wears gold studs.
Jewellery: She doesn't own much of any real value - mostly jewellery from her mother - and doesn't really want anything expensive since she'd probably end up losing it. Instead, she has cheap-ish jewellery that won't make her wallet writhe from woe if she loses them. She also likes to make her own jewellery from wires and stones. She currently wears either a lion emblem necklace or a flower necklace that she made from rose quartz and black onyx.

Body Modifications: She has a scar across her hip and thigh from when she was turned.
Gwen's wolf form
Wolf Form
Build: Gwen's wolf form is quite slim for her weight though she is still quite stocky and strong, with some fox-like characteristics. She has very long, sharp claws that can do a lot of damage if she uses them on the attack, especially backed by her slender but very muscular arms. She is able to stand bipedal as well as remain quadruped, although standing upright is more comfortable for her. She has opposable thumbs on her hands.
Height: Quadruped - 3'9"; biped - 6'10".
Weight: 242lb
Hair: Brown all over, with her ears, the tip of her tail, her hands and a patch of her left foot being a darker brown than the rest of her hair. She has a sort of main, with longer hair around her head, along her back and on her abdomen.
Eyes: Amber/orange
Defining Marks: Large ears and a long tail.
Pack
Pack: Rayne

Color: When dyed, dark red; when natural, dark brown
Facial Hair
Length: N/A

Eyes
Color: Smoky green with brown areas around the pupils
Oddities: Flash their lupine colour when she feels angry, or when teasing or taunting
Personality: Gwen loves nothing more than using her quirky sense of humour and fun to it's best advantage to make people laugh even if it means making herself look like a complete fool. She hates when someone's upset and will try to cheer them up as best she can whilst being aware of whether said person wants to be cheered up or not; she's not a complete numpty, she does know when to leave well alone if someone needs some time to themselves, she just likes to let people know (in her own wacky way) that she's there for light entertainment should they need it. Gwen's a pretty outgoing gal and loves being the centre of attention but doesn't crave it, as such; she'll take full advantage if she happens to find herself there but she's equally happy to sit back and watch someone else being a tool for a change.
A couple of times a month Gwen likes to have what she lovingly refers to as "cosplay days", where she will wear fancy dress (normally costumes she has customised herself) and remain in-character for the whole day. She does it partly for the giggles, but mostly because she loves dressing up and performing. This has led to some pack mates calling her a dork but she readily accepts the title with pride since she knows it's never meant as an insult.
Despite outward appearances, Gwen cares a great deal about what other people think of her and will sometimes worry about what certain people are thinking as they talk to her. She puts herself out there into the spotlight and makes herself the focus of the laughter so they don't see what she's like under the laughter and jokes. That's not to say she doesn't enjoy doing it, though.
She's very loyal to her pack, the same as everyone else, and trusts them all implicitly. Being of the "never judge a book by it's cover" mentality, she will try not to pre-judge people she's just met, especially new members of the pack.
She's a bit of a martial arts geek and when she's not messing around doing over-exaggerated martial arts "moves" she's actually practising her moves so that she might be able to train to be a fighter one day. For now, she's content teaching herself, not wanting to bother anyone when her skill level is still quite basic. Her other hobby is watching her precious Mystery Science Theatre 3000 DVDs and laughing at the jokes that she's already memorised; they never, ever get old. She'll try and lure people into watching it with her, especially if she senses that they need a good laugh. As she says; MST3K cures all.
Weaknesses: Like all of her kind she has a fatal allergy to silver, physical contact with which can lead to nausea, sickness or in the most extreme cases, death. Possibly due to taking one too many knocks on the head from her martial arts lessons she suffers from sporadic nosebleeds. Typically, on the day of a nosebleed she'll feel dizzy of a morning which warns her to take around a packet of tissues for the inevitable leak.
Gwen tends to like to put a positive spin on things and sometimes doesn't take something as seriously as she should, which is not always appropriate and can get on people's nerves. She also has quite a short attention span, so if her focus isn't entirely on the conversation or activity at hand she will find her mind and imagination going walkabouts. This is a particular problem for Gwen because she believes it's one of the things that hold her back from seriously chasing her hopes of becoming a fighter, since the position requires a lot of discipline that, quite honestly, Gwen doesn't have.
Abilities: She has all the abilities that come with being a werewolf: heightened senses; increased strength, speed and agility; healing; and so on. She is able to overcome the call of the wolf during the full moon though those three days still takes a lot of energy out of her. She's skilled in the martial arts, specifically Karate and Judo, - both of which she has a black belt and has reached the 8th Dan for - a little Kendo and Naginatajutsu, having taken lessons during her first few decades in America. Gwen developed an interest in martial arts movies way back when the genre was just starting to emerge and has followed it through the ages, never getting bored or growing tired of it. Later on, inspired by the movies she loves, she got a set of nunchucks and decided to teach herself how to use them. It took a while (and some rather painful face injuries, since it hadn't occurred to her to get foam ones to practise with until someone suggested it to her) but she's finally mastered them. She hopes to one day be able to train to be a fighter but has decided to wait since, for the moment at least, she realises that she lacks the dedication.
Her skills as a would-be actress come in handy during the days when she's dressing up and cosplaying around the place, and makes an incredibly convincing pirate if she does say so herself.
Weapons: Most of the weapons she owns are martial arts weapons, including a pair of Nunchucks (it took her a while to master them, having broken her nose once or twice in the process) and a Naginata, as well as a couple of shuriken. She's yet to learn how to use a gun, but is eager to try.

History: Guinevere Ogden's family have always been involved in theatre. Her father and brother were actors on the stage and her mother was part of the crew who created the beautiful costumes. Each night, the family would perform a hit production written by the greats and the actors would come off stage to rapturous applause from the people who had probably seen the performance a hundred times before but back then there was no other form of entertainment; the theatre was the place to be. Though women were allowed to act on stage by now she was never allowed, being told she was too young to do so. Still, Gwen's dream was to one day perform on the big stage like her father and big brother. Ever since she was a little girl, all she has wanted to do was perform in front of all those people, their attention transfixed on her and her alone as she convinced them that she was someone else entirely. Her earliest memories are of watching from backstage, helping with the settings and costumes, and she grew up loving the hustle and bustle of the theatre life. However, no matter how hard she tried they would not let her go on stage. So she remained backstage, wanting to be as near to the stage as she could possibly be even if she could not get on it herself.
On her 15th birthday, her father had decided that she was allowed one performance as a birthday gift from him, a week from then. Gwen was elated and for the entire week she walked around with the biggest grin on her face. The day of her performance she joined the cast in the morning rehearsals; she didn’t need much coaching since she knew practically every word of the play by now. The other cast members helped her out as much as possible because not only did they want the night to be a success, but they wanted her to be a success, at least for the night, since she had practically grown up with them it was as if they were family.
Finally the moment of truth came and Gwen took her first tentative steps out on stage. As soon as the audience saw her the crowd hushed, surprised that such a young girl was on stage. She allowed the whispers and murmurs to spread around the amphitheatre for a while before clearing her throat loudly and addressing the audience with her own little speech. Within minutes she had the theatre roaring with laughter and soon it didn't matter that she was very young, just that she was a damn good addition to their favourite play.
She was such a huge success that it was decided that she would become a permanent addition to the play, reprising her role as narrator and continuing her little additions to the script at times she saw fit. By her 17th birthday she was a veritable celebrity within the area of the theatre. Gwen couldn't imagine being happier; she had found her calling, and the one thing she wanted to do until the day she died.
The next year her whole world was turned upside down. The morning of the third day of the lunar cycle was clear and bright, quite unusual for the time of year, and Gwen took the opportunity to have fun on her day off. Donning her disguise (which consisted of a head scarf and heavy makeup) she took a walk around the shops to see if anything took her fancy - she needed a new pair of shoes since she was outgrowing her current ones already - when she first heard the stories of some wild beast that was stalking the streets, supposedly killing the unfortunate people who happened to be in it's path. Gwen rolled her eyes at the fanciful stories which, she mused, were the workings of an imagination even wilder than her own. Everywhere she wandered she heard at least one conversation about the beast of the moonlight. She forgot the name of it but she wasn't too concerned. When she finally found the pair of shoes she wanted she bought them and left, pushing the stories to the back of her mind and forgetting them in the rush of the rehearsals.
After another successful performance most of the cast and crew went off to have drinks together but Gwen felt a sudden urge to take a stroll along the empty streets under the moonlight; it had been so long since she'd seen the stars and she figured it would make a nice change to listen to the sound of silence for once. As wandered the darkened streets she got the odd feeling that she was being followed, though she saw nothing when she turned around to look. The stories she had heard during the day resurfaced and she laughed to herself, thinking that she was just as bad as the gossip mongers themselves and trying to ignore the niggling fear tugging at her mind.
After a little further she decided to turn around and head back but what she found herself facing was a large wolf-like animal with gleaming eyes. The air around its nostrils clouded with each heavy breath it took as it eyed the young girl. Gwen was frozen to the spot, hardly believing the stories were true; hardly believing that she was unlucky enough to face the bugger herself - and a big bugger it was. She realised that running straight down the street would probably mean certain death for her since the beast was huge and could probably outrun her while just taking a leisurely stroll, so she opted to use the winding and narrow streets to her advantage, hoping the beast's large frame would work against it.
When it made a lunge for her she took her chance and ducked, slipping past it and turning into an alleyway to get away. She had no idea how long she could keep this up, twisting and turning through the streets and alleyways as the relentless chase continued. Seeing an open gate she made a run for it out in the open, having got a little way ahead of the wolf and knowing that it was probably her only chance. She used all the energy she could muster to run, knowing that it was getting closer; hearing the heavy thuds of it's feet pounding the rough road growing closer; the sound of it's heavy breathing and the rumble in it's throat growing louder. Finally she reached the gate and slid through, pushing the heavy iron door closed just before the wolf slammed against it with all it's weight. Before she had time to react it had slid a paw through the bars and taken a swipe at her, giving her a large gash across her hip and leg. Falling heavily, she swore to herself, blood seeping into the tattered remains of her dress as her assailant tried first to force itself through the tiny gaps, then to prise the bars apart.
Gwen sat with her back to the wall and closed her eyes, hoping, willing it to leave her alone so that she could live. She was only 18; she still had a life. She wanted at least another 10 years before she'd let God take her and dammit, she was going to have them. Slowly, the growling stopped, and she heard the wolf shuffle away, apparently having lost interest in it's newfound toy, and Gwen opened her eyes just in time to see it duck into one of the far side alleys. She spent a while just sitting, too tired and in too much pain to even consider moving but after a while she dragged herself to her feet and limped home, being wary of everything around her in case it came back for another round - if it did, she was as good as dead. Thankfully it didn't and she managed to get back home safe, though quite battered, to the shocked faces of her family.
It took a lot of convincing to stop them from calling the police; how would she explain what she saw without being thrown into prison or being declared insane? Instead, she convinced them to let her recover of her own volition. For the next few weeks she stayed in the house, having asked her family to tell the cast, crew and audience that she was unable to make it because she was quite ill, but that she would return, and after her wound was healed return she did to a rapturous audience.
A week after her return, on the first day of the full moon, she woke up feeling rather queasy but continued with rehearsals. By the time the start of the show came around she was feeling considerably worse but she had to go on with the performance since there was nobody to cover her, resulting in a performance that was not to her usual standards. She knew something was wrong. After the play she locked herself in the basement of her house, telling her parents that they were not to open the door under any circumstance. Then her first change happened. For those three days and nights she hardly left the house except to eat whatever she could muster. Her family almost didn't believe her when she explained what was happening to her, thinking at first that it was another one of her little performances, another joke on them, but there was only so far she'd go to play a trick and this was way, way beyond that limit. Her family tried to be understanding but Gwen could tell they were afraid so after a year she decided to leave her home. She publicly stood down from her role at the theatre and said her goodbyes to the people she had grown up and performed with for so long. Only her parents and brother knew the real reasons she was leaving but that was their story alone.
After a week travelling the open country she stumbled across a group of performers who she immediately sensed were like her; they were werewolves too. It turned out they were rogues, all of whom were much older than she was and able to control themselves during the full moon. They invited her to join them on their travels across the country, performing plays as a way of making a living and she gratefully accepted. Over the next century and a half the group travelled without much in the way of drama (bad drama, that is) and during that time Gwen managed (with the help of her friends) to gain control of her wolf over the full moon; two world wars had been and gone and the country had changed beyond all recognition.
Though she felt a close with her fellow rogues she decided that it was time to leave England and start a new life for herself across the pond in America. Before she left she went back to her old town to see what had happened to it, but all records of her family had vanished; the house she had grown up with was gone, though the theatre was still there.
During her first couple of years in America she mostly indulged in a bit of sight-seeing and once the tourist-like tendencies had left her she settled for a while, getting a job and enrolling in various martial arts classes so that she could protect herself should she find that she had to. She didn't really know what to do with herself. All she had ever known was theatre, which she was unable to indulge in now, especially with the changing face of the dramatic arts. She missed her old life; the theatre; her family; her friends; when she was truly without a care in the world. The modern day really, really sucked compared to her old life but she had no choice but to continue and "keep on truckin'", as they say.
It was during a weekend away in LA that Gwen found Rayne's pack - or rather, they found her - and she was invited to join. Which she did. She didn't really expecting to stay for very long but soon found pack life to be totally different to the time she spent with the rogues back in England; she felt a special bond with these werewolves, as if they were a family, as if she belonged, and since leaving her blood relatives behind that had been what she was looking for.
