Name: Wilhemina Ferguson
Nicknames: Billie - Wilhemina is too stuffy, in her opinion
Race: Human
Occupation: Club singer/student (attends the local community college)
Gender: Female
Skin Color: Bi-racial - half white, half African-American
Age: 22
Clothing: Billie’s sense of style is rather haphazard, in that she doesn’t stick to one particular clothing style. She will wear whatever matches her current mood: baggy, almost ‘urban’ clothing, or more form-fitting, feminine things, and sometimes just sweatpants and a tee, with varying shoes and whatnot to match. Naturally, she will wear appropriate attire for work. Her two staples, however, are her mirrored, aviator style sunglasses, and knee-length, hooded duster of black cloth.
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 130lbs
Tattoos: Two tribal ‘wings’, on the outside of each leg; they span from hip to mid-thigh.
Piercings: Two piercings in each ear and one in her navel.
Jewellery: A variety of earrings from simple studs to dangles for her ears, a simple gold dangle for her navel, and a white-gold angel pendant.
Body Modifications: Save for the tattoos, none.
Hair
Length: Falls just below her shoulder blades when loose.
Style: Normally left to hang in loose curls, framing her shoulders and covering part of her face.
Color: Dark brown, with faint highlights of copper throughout.
Eyes
Color: Dark hazel - appear brown or green, depending on the lighting.
Personality: Billie is an extrovert, plain and simple; she loves being in the middle of things. She is young and naturally thinks herself invincible; while she isn’t totally full of herself, she has a bit of a cocky streak but has the ability to reign that in, for the most part. Stubborn and self-reliant, she constantly feels the need to prove to others that she can manage of her own, partly do to her father’s less-than wonderful opinion of her career; Billie is not one to take hand outs from anyone. In regards to her career, Billie knows that she isn’t exactly landing record deals left and right, but so long as she can sing and entertain, she doesn’t care. For the most part, she is bubbly, optimistic, and only a bit of a flirt, always looking for a good time.
Weaknesses: Though she may not believe it, Billie is mortal; any serious injury will leave her incapacitated for the usual length of time, although she is rather resilient, and she can be killed just like anyone else. Mentally, not much will get her down, but she apparently inherited her mother’s temper and has a bit of a short fuse, with a tendency to leap before looking.
Abilities: Having trained since she was six, Billie is a powerful mezzo-soprano with one hell of a belt. She also has some basic piano skills and writes her own lyrics from time-to-time, but nothing too fancy. Given her birthplace and her family history, she is semi-fluent in French and speaks a few words of Creole, though her accent is less than perfect. She has been kickboxing for a few years now and is a pretty decent hand-to-hand apponent, as well as a capable shot with a gun.
Weapons: Only what’s needed - a small handgun.
Prized Possessions: The aforementioned angel pendant - a birthday gift from her parents.
Home(s): Billie lives in a one-bedroom apartment, and the building she is housed in is apparently part of Cole's territory, though she knows nothing of supernatural boundary lines.
History: Born to Isabelle DuBois and Thomas Ferguson and raised in New Orleans, Billie was immersed in music from day one. Her mother, originally from France, was a voice teacher for the local music conservatory and her father even played a bit of piano; his main job was as a lawyer. Naturally, it was Isabelle who first prompted her daughter into trying her hand at music, and it was soon discovered that Billie’s talent lay in vocal performance. With help from her mother and encouragement from her father - he even taught her piano, to the best of his abilities - Billie continued to improve her skills as she grew up. It wasn’t until she was halfway through high school that she realized she wanted to pursue music as a steady career. Now, her parents supported her, but her father imagined music as more of a hobby and made this opinion known quite often. Billie, with her stubborn streak was - and still is - determined to prove that she can make in with her vocal talent; she New Orleans for L.A. at 18, hoping to eventually be ‘discovered.’ This hasn’t exactly come to pass just yet, but only time will tell.
