Timeskip now in place board-wide. The game is now running in the week leading up to the full moon. For continuinty's sake, we'll assume we've skipped two-three days.
Sorry to everyone who had things in progress, like Rayne's Pack heading out to hunt, and Cole's Pack playing charades.
Thanks, everyone. This game is going really well, and that wouldn't be the case if it weren't for everyone involved. The first plot is coming up, so I hope you'll all enjoy that, when it comes around.
Thanks again! ^_^

We now have a timeskip in place, taking us from the week leading up to the full moon, to the first night of the full moon itself. It's the hours leading up to its peak, so please take note of the Notice post entitled The Full Moon, if you haven't already, and have your characters react accordingly, as they would, according to their nature and personality etc.
Any and all questions can be brought to me, and I hope you all have fun with the full moon phase, even if you don't play werewolves XD
Thanks! ^_^

Okay, so, another timeskip is in place, bringing us from the first night of the full moon, to the following morning. Any and all werewolves who are too young to control their changes will return to their human forms, exhausted and probably wanting nothing more than a big meal, and to collapse in bed. The daytime will also bring a kind of calm to all other werewolves as well, since the moon is down. The coming night will be worse than the one that has just passed, though… just so you know ~_^
To help people keep track of where they were, character-wise, here is a rundown of who was where, and with who, and doing what. There are a heck of a lot of characters on the game, so I’ve organised them into groups — packs first, rogue werewolves, vampires and then humans. Thanks. As always, any and all questions can be brought to my attention.
COLE’S PACK
Cole: Was in his bedroom of the Hyperion with Dia, after coming up from the basement, with a wound on his left arm.
Dia: Was in her bedroom of the Hyperion with Cole, after having patrolled the corridors of the hotel.
Steven: Was in his room in the Hyperion, playing good ol’ fashioned video games and getting angry at the characters.
Heidi: Was patrolling the corridors of the Hyperion, feeling increasingly restless.
Mileena: Was downstairs in the basement of the Hyperion, watching over the young wolves who had transformed and were in lockdown.
Jeremy: Was in the library of the Hyperion, rolling around on the floor and asking Tina questions.
Tina: Was in the library of the Hyperion, trying to read ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’ while Jeremy acted hyper.
Molly: Was downstairs in a room in the basement of the Hyperion, successfully warding off her wolf for a few moments before giving in again.
Aiden: Was downstairs in a room in the basement of the Hyperion, in wolf form.
Brody: Was in his room in the Hyperion, curled up on his bed in human form, feeling a bit miserable.
Devon: Was downstairs in a room in the basement of the Hyperion, in wolf form.
Alise: N/A — character has come out of NPC status.
Kyle: Was on his way back to his room in the Hyperion, after coming up from the basement and being ‘chided’ by Heidi for fighting with Mara.
Sissy: Was downstairs in a room in the basement of the Hyperion, in wolf form.
Cassidy: Was in her room in the Hyperion, in wolf form, curled up on her bed quietly.
RAYNE’S PACK
Rayne: N/A — player is on hiatus.
Dante: N/A — player is on hiatus.
Amelia: N/A — no activity during full moon.
Vivian: N/A — player is on hiatus.
Pierce: N/A — player is on hiatus.
Drake: Was in his bedroom in at the Four Seasons, in wolf form curled up on the floor.
Spencer: N/A — no activity during full moon.
Casey: Was in his bedroom at the Four Seasons, being homicidal on a video game.
Mack: N/A — player is on hiatus.
Grenier: N/A — player is on hiatus.
ROGUE WEREWOLVES
Lynnette: Was at the club Onyx with Nick, drinking beer and generally enjoying herself.
Nick: Was at the club Onyx with Lynnette, having just bought a round for the two of them.
Eli: Was in the basement of Carey Hall in wolf form, after Katrina chained him to the wall, having gotten himself fully tangled in his restraints.
Marco: Was in his apartment in the Apartment Complex on Cole’s territory, keeping to himself.
Mara: Was in a room in the basement of the Hyperion, in wolf form, after having fought with Kyle and wounding Cole.
VAMPIRES
Anna: Was at the club Onyx watching the crowds in boredom.
Marissa: N/A — no activity during full moon.
Lucas: N/A — no activity during the full moon.
Katrina: Was in the basement of Carey Hall, commanding Eli to change back so he could eat his meal.
HUMANS
Mimi: Was in her apartment in the Apartment Complex on Rayne’s territory, getting ready for work.
Michael: Was just leaving St. Benedict’s after talking with Nate in the ER.
Nate: Was in the doctor’s lounge of St. Benedict’s, counting the minutes until he could go home.
Andrew: Was backstage at the Onyx, more than a bit drunk, and socialising with Billie.
Marion: Was in her room at The Colony, asleep on her bed after having talked to Andrew on the phone.
Billie: Was backstage at the Onyx, socialising with Andrew.
Antje: N/A — no activity during full moon.
If I’ve missed anyone — I apologise @_@ That’s a lot more characters than I thought we had ^_^()

Okay, long time coming, but here we go with the next timeskip, which will successfully take us to the night of the day (hey, who needs to make sense?) we’ve been playing on for the last couple of months or so. It’s now the second night of the full moon, when the lunar cycle is at its peak, and most powerful; all werewolves will feel a stronger pull on this night than they did on the previous (or will on the following), but obviously, the older the wolf, the better they can hide it.
No matter where your character was before the timeskip, they now ‘start fresh’. They can have had an afternoon nap, sparred with other pack members (if they’re a pack wolf), gone on a shopping spree, been to work, or hell, even baked a cake. Whatever you want.
The sun’s setting now, so young wolves in Cole’s Pack will be heading down to the basement for their nightly containment and security periods (the ‘guards’ for the night will be Kennedy and Dimitri, for reference’s sake, and Cole will also be downstairs for the beginning of the ‘session’). Players know who they are, but just in case you’re not sure, toss an IM my way on AIM, and I can tell you either way if they need to head down ^_^
Players of pack wolves need to remember that the Alphas don’t let them out of their homes during the full moon (it varies slightly for each pack).
Okay, that’s about it. Have fun, thanks for the awesome activity so far, and I look forward to watching your characters in action once again! XD As usual, all questions can be asked over IM, or via email ^_^
Thanks!

Finally! Here we go again at last! XD TIMESKIP!
We have now moved on to the next morning. As usual, it’s going to be a sunny day in Los Angeles; good temperatures and weather — the works. As for the exact time, feel free to have a little leeway, but don’t go racing off, or have it still reaching dawn XD I’ll leave that to your discretion, but just keep it in a general ‘morning’ area… and so on and so forth. Heh.
As always, if you left your character in one place prior to the skip, they don’t have to be in the same place today, after the skip. If you feel more comfortable doing so, feel free to do the following at the top of your posts:
“POST-TIMESKIP
Post here, etc…”
For those people with registered characters for Lucian’s Pack, go ahead and start playing with them. As with any character at any time, just ensure their bios are posted first. Thanks. It’s just easier that way, heh. As for the full-moon-confinement situation for this pack, Lucian has large cages in the basement of Red Moon Manor — much more dark-ages and primitive than Cole or Rayne’s Pack.
If you have any questions whatsoever, don’t hesitate to email me at vampyr_uk2000@yahoo.co.uk XD I don’t bite… >.>
Thanks! And enjoy the skip ^_^ As always, thank you so much for making this game a success, and I love you all dearly for it; Brutality wouldn’t be what it is without you guys, so just keep up the awesome work, and most importantly, keep having fun! XD Because I say so XD

And here we go with another timeskip! 8D As of now, I will be announcing the date of days we’re playing out in-game, and this will be the first one, so here you have it:
THURSDAY 24th AUGUST 2006 – why 2006 you ask? Because the game started in 2006, and since we have in no way played out a year, we’re apparently all living in the past XD I don’t see why there would be any problems, and it’s not overly complicated to just pretend it’s a year earlier for our characters than it is for us, but if you do have any questions, don’t hesitate (:
We are now two weeks ahead of our last played timeline, meaning that everything you wrote last happened a whole fortnight ago. Your character can have done just about anything in that time; they can have dyed their hair, cut it, changed their wardrobe, got a new tattoo — I’d just prefer to be notified of these things so I know what’s what XD And of course, if you wanted anything major to have happened, do not write about it without my permission, please.
In-character/game notifications would be as follows:
- Cole and Dia will have announced the latter’s pregnancy to the pack. They told some members personally (Steven and Heidi), others found out themselves (Mara), and for a majority of the rest, well, good news travels fast ;D You can decide how your character found out about it, but we’d prefer the majority did hear about it through word of mouth (:
- Sergeant Sarah Masterson was shot and wounded in the line of duty while she and her partner, Sergeant Chris Tyler, followed a lead from Benny against Donnelly, one of their prime targets in the drug ‘world’. Donnelly’s younger brother was the one to cause the injury, and he was subsequently shot and killed by Chris. Sarah spent several days in St. Benedict’s hospital, being treated and having the bullet removed, and has now been discharged under strict orders to take it easy, and be careful with her arm. Benny, their informant, was killed by Donnelly and his men, during the stakeout. Donnelly himself escaped, once again, and is still at large.
- Drake Montgomery is now a settled-in member of Cole’s pack, and obviously, you can discuss with Phoenix herself how your characters might have met him, and how they get along etc.
- Katherine and Marcus Rivera have also been discharged from St. Benedict’s after their car accident at the hands of Yelena Vityugov. Both have now completed their course of medications for respective injuries, but still under orders to rest and recuperate. It is, however, believable that they are both back at work and just restricted to desk duty.
- It is entirely up to you (though I would appreciate a heads-up, as would Hezy) as to whether or not any of your characters heard/sensed the major disturbance in Nerys’ room that was played out just before the skip; they would not have seen anything, nobody was permitted into the room during the course of/after the situation, but werewolves do have hyper-accurate/sensitive hearing after all, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to say it was heard from anywhere in the immediate vicinity.
- Andrew Grant has left Los Angeles; Marion Barnes announced her assistant’s plans to leave to Cole himself, who would have then passed it on to anyone who ever met the human.
- Fiona MacDuff, like several other characters, has also now been released from hospital after her accident while skateboarding.
- There has been a slight dip in the vampire population; you can have your vampire characters notice this, or be oblivious, but it wouldn’t be anything extravagant. Just regular faces, dealers or greedy feeders perhaps, no longer showing up where they might have been frequent flyers. Obviously, Teresa Reign and Thatcher “The Warden” Ward have been busy with their respective hunting ‘duties’. Both these characters can be mentioned as if in rumour, but anything more must be okayed by Hezy and/or myself.
- Deiniol Fey is still missing; the LAPD are still looking for leads, but cannot find anything to direct them to his abductor, Yelena Vityugov, and there has been no new, conclusive evidence, to lead them to the young man still held in the vampire’s captivity. Reporters working for The L.A. Sun will still be on the case, but this is to Sethoz’s discretion, given her control of Alan Davenport, the Editor-In-Chief.
- Members of Cole’s pack may or may not have caught glimpses of/gotten a sense of someone hanging around The Hyperion. Connor O’Malley will have been extremely stealthy and discreet in his observation, but a choice few might have ‘sensed’ something. Please check with Sethoz if you wish to have had your character(s) catch sight of Connor.
- Flynn Hyatt has not returned to work, or to his apartment. He remains with Katrina Lemuiex at her grand home in Beverly Hills, and has not been seen or heard from since the second night of the full moon (9th August). Obviously, he isn’t replying to calls or emails.
- Rayne’s pack has earned a new member, a lone female by the name of Heather Esprit. Please speak to Sethoz (as with Phoenix and Drake for Cole’s pack) about how your characters might have gotten along upon first meeting, and so on. Heather’s joining was an uneventful one, and Rayne and Dante granted her membership, and she has been settling in over the course of the last two weeks.
- There are rumours that a new, ruthless rogue werewolf is in town, and once again, it is your choice entirely as to whether or not your character(s) would have heard about this lone male through the grapevine. His methods of interrogation (nobody knows what he is asking) are merciless, sometimes bordering on barbaric, and this wolf is also partly responsible for the aforementioned dip in vampire numbers. Nobody knows his name, but Nikolai Zuyev isn’t taking his personal mission lightly, to be sure.
- A pair of male werewolves may or may not have been sighted here and there about the city, quiet but powerful and ominous in their silent observations of various parts of the city, including the packs within and without the Los Angeles borders. They have spoken to no one, tolerated no company outside of one another, and have certainly carried a high intimidation factor (this pair are obviously Hunter and Striker, though naturally, none of the characters know this).
That’s all for now, but if you wish to have something (that you feel is important) added to this list, shoot me an email and I’ll add it for people to see 8D
And finally, because it needs to be known, we are now playing a late evening/night timeframe. Hours can vary, but don’t rush off into early morning — please try to keep the time between seven and midnight over the course of this timeskip, so other players don’t get confused with what’s happening and why; it makes it difficult for other characters to come into areas if the time is so different from the area they just came from. Try your best to be vague, that’s usually the best idea (: It would also be highly appreciated if you would put a little note at the top of each first post in areas about your post being ‘POST TIMESKIP’. Let’s pretend that made sense, but all my posts that follow this will display this, thankfully, as an example; this only needs to be done once for each existing area — if you are creating a new area, this isn’t ‘mandatory’, since it won’t lead on from any pre-existing action, and there can be no confusion about when it took place (:
Okay, I think that’s all for now; as usual, if anything changes, there’ll be an announcement 8D Thank you so much, guys, for making this game the success that it is — Brutality wouldn’t still be here, and so strong, if it wasn’t for all of you <3 You have my undying love and gratitude for that!
Thanks!

Timeskip at long last! Okay, this is a minor skip for plot reasons, and everyone who needs to take care of some sort of business or another has been brought up to speed. If you don’t have anything vital to do, then I’d suggest waiting for the next skip which will last longer than this one. If you try to do something non-vital in this one, you’ll be rushed to a conclusion. If you do start something, remember to include a "POST TIMESKIP" at the top of any posts in pre-existing areas to avoid confusion. So here’s the rundown:
FRIDAY 25th AUGUST 2006. We have only skipped one day from the last night we were playing, and once again, we are playing an evening time period. The usual rules apply; if you do play something in this time period, keep it within the same few hours, don’t go racing ahead or you’ll make it awkward for everyone else around you. I don’t anticipate a lot of activity all over the board in this skip, though, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
Here are the important changes:
• Nerys Llanfair attempted to end her own life by overdosing on morphine. Thankfully Keegan MacIntyre was with her at the time she injected herself and as such, was able to call for help. Steven Manning arrived and helped to counteract the drug and keep her from dying. The door was repaired quickly -- one of the best things about big packs is that DIY jobs never take long -- and Nerys has been in her room recovering ever since. Keegan has remained at her side constantly, refusing to be relieved by anyone. Several people may have tried, but they were all turned away, even the leaders if they made the attempts.
• Cole’s pack received a new member in the form of Owen Filby, a newly-bitten wolf who is still recovering. He has been given a room, where he has been watched over by whoever has volunteered to take a shift; Cole has made sure that all volunteers are calm, experienced wolves of reasonable age who won’t spook Owen. Or his dog. There’s a domestic canine resident in the hotel now too; Zodiac, the black German Shepherd. She hasn’t left the foot of Owen’s bed since being put there.
• Katrina Lemuiex -- with the help of Eli Whitman -- left a message for Cole and his pack by dumping the badly wounded Flynn Hyatt at their doorstep. The pack discovered him shortly before Cole and the group with Owen returned. It was an eventful night for the pack, to say the least. Like Owen, Flynn has been given a room and watched over at all times by the same sorts of volunteers as the other new arrival. Both newcomers have been given medical attention, naturally.
• Heidi Fischer has announced her plans to leave the pack and return to Germany after discovering descendants via the internet. She has told the pack that she will be leaving shortly and as such is tying up loose ends and packing those possessions she wishes to take along with her to Germany.
• Sarah Masterson has likewise announced that she will be leaving Los Angeles. Thursday night she was taken to hospital by Chris Tyler’s friends, and it was discovered that her shoulder wound was much worse than the doctors had first suspected; due to permanent muscle damage, it has been decided that she is unfit to return to active duty. It didn’t take long for a job offer to come her way though, and she will be transferring to Chicago to work in a counselling capacity.
• There are three new old wolves in town, all male and all very intimidating. Sheppard, Kincaid and Ripper have united with Hunter and Striker and set up base in an old abandoned church -- St. Peter of the Rock Temple Church -- in the suburbs away from all other packs. Anyone who tries to get close to the building is either chased away, or, if they’re not quick enough, put down permanently.
Okay, that’s all for now, but if you feel that something important has been left out, get in touch with me and let me know what to add. Once again, thank you to all the players here at Brutality! You’re amazing, and the game is what it is today because of each and every one of you <3
Thanks!

Okay! At long last, it is time for a timeskip! I know you've all been waiting very patiently for this, so I would just like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for waiting and getting so excited about this skip! Seriously, I've said it all before and I'll say it again: you guys are the reason Brutality is so successful and so much fun, so I cannot even begin to say how thankful I am for all your hard work, commitment and enthusiasm ♥
Now on to business!
We will now be playing the evening/night of THURSDAY 14th SEPTEMBER 2006. It is about a week after the full moon, and all the changes have been laid out in my posts on Livejournal, which you have all seen, but if you have any questions about what's been happening, feel free to grab me, give me a poke, and ask and I'll clear anything up that you need me to!
The usual rules apply: anything you play this time period, keep it within a number of hours, don't go racing ahead into the wee hours of the morning or the next day or you'll make it awkward for everyone else around you. The best thing to do is to be vague about just what time it is, and then everyone can play comfortably without having to worry about specifics like that.
For anything and everything started in pre-existing areas, please remember to include a POST TIMESKIP at the top of the posts to avoid any confusion.
I think that's all for now! As I said, if you have any questions or concerns, you all know how and where to find me! Again, I want to thank all of you; you're incredible, and Brutality just wouldn't be what it is without each and every one of you ♥
Thanks, and have fun this go around!
