8:45 pm. The sign outside said the library closed at 9 . . . unfortunately, that was somewhat false advertising. Andrew found that out when the librarians began shooing him to the door, even with fifteen minutes to spare. The young legal assistant frowned as he packed up his stuff, under the strict eye of the head librarian, standing there as if to keep him in check. He'd been here ever since he'd gotten off work, earlier in the day. After learning just WHAT his new employers were, he'd been taking every chance he could to do research on them and their kind.
Once his stuff was packed, the blonde was quickly ushered to the door, almost as if he'd done something wrong. Was it so bad to stay here late studying? It was really starting to make him wonder if this was the best route of doing things . . . Once outside, he sighed, glancing along the street unhappily. There had to be SOMETHING else he could do . . . He needed to relax, somehow. Frowning, he sighed again, running a hand haphazardly through his hair, and just started walking.

Gemma was practically swarmed when she entered carrying the various caffienated beverages. Irritating, but naturally she didn't open her mouth. She could deal with it; always did.
Once the crowd had dispersed, the young librarian found herself pretty much alone in the lobby. Hopefully, it would be a generally slow day, and she would be let off early. It was either that, or be chucked back down into storage for more shifting of boxes and inventory, which honestly, Gemma didn't mind so much. It was mundane work, but it kept her occupied.
Better than being deserted at the front desk, she thought while she sipped on her iced coffee.
