This is really a Jeremy and Violet log with them finally getting around to pranking Kate, and branches off from what's posted in game after they get shooed from the training room. These two are so in for it.....
Violet nearly bounced off. Heidi had stopped that venture with William...but she hadn't ruined all of that night's plans. Not at all. Thankfully. In Violet's case. Since...she'd been planning to dye Mister Vain McWolfie's hair for a while. And just found the best shade of pink that would do the job. There was possibly an evil grin dancing across her face during that thought process. "Well...that ruined our momentarily distraction until Kate goes to sleep." She snapped her fingers as she bounced along.
Heidi's new nickname would now officially be 'Prankus Interruptus' or some other such silly thing along those lines as far as Jeremy was concerned. Not that he'd ever even dream of saying such a thing out loud, but he'd think it, oh boy would he ever. And find it highly amusing to boot. For all of thirty minutes until his brain moved onto the next bright, shiny idea that came along. Jeremy was definitely not a hard one to distract. "Yeah…." he replied, almost actually seeming discouraged for a split second before perking right back up. "…..but that means we have extra time to plan! Ha!" Because when you took the time out to actually think about how you were going to go about pulling one over on someone, things tended to turn out even better.
Jeremy might not say that. But Violetta might let that slip. If she came up with it that is. Or she would bite her tongue until it bleed…a lot. Oh…possibly giggle at the thought of a silly nickname. Since she did that with many members of the pack already. And they never seemed to mind at all. Well…if they did…she didn’t notice. Violet beamed at that. “Ah…yes. We can perfect everything needed so Katie doesn’t know.” Since if Kate woke up…the two of them were dead in the water.
Jeremy had already risked life and limb once today pranking Steven and wouldn't exactly back down from the pleasure of a well done prank if faced with doing so again. He wasn't always the brightest bulb in the marquee when it came to such things, you see. There was a rumble of silly giggle that meant Jeremy was very much up for a second go round despite lack of full thought that came with that decision. "Not getting caught is always good. Or at least, not getting caught until everything's done." Sometimes you just had to implicate yourself to admire your own handiwork. Cocky and assumptive yes, but this was the master pranking team we were talking about here. They could so handle it. Recognize.
Always admire the handiwork. It was the best sort of satisfaction in the world. Really it was. Violet could handle anything. As long as she had a nice hiding place to go to after running around a bit. Because…yeah…she’s “tender”. In a million years…but still. It was something she can fall back on. And the fact that Kate doesn’t harm girls. Bwahaha, Jeremy. “He’s a heavy sleeper. Trust me. I know.” And she did know, since she bounced on his bed several times. And poured water on him. Nothing. It was like the wolf was in a coma every time he went to sleep. Which meant one thing…easy prey.
Well now that was fair, how? Good thing Jeremy has plenty of hiding places of his own, since he has no intention of being the one to get whupped on should things turn south just because his chromosomes fell on the XY side of things. Male, he may be, but a fighter- definitely not, so that was one mighty offensive gender bias there, especially coming from a guy named Kate. Hey, just saying… Anyway, Jeremy was more skilled at fleeing than fighting. Quick and cunning and all that. After all, it's hard to beat someone's ass if you can't even catch them or find them in the first place. "Hahaahah sweet!" This was sounding better and better to him by the minute. Which meant it was time to get crackalacking and serious with this here plan. "You have the stuff already, right? So what kind of dye are we talking here? Is it liquid? Gelatinous? How much of it do we need to get into his hair for it to show up good and how long does it need to stay in his hair?" Because these were things they needed to know. What good would their pranking efforts be if the dye came out in one shower or something because they didn't follow through properly? Lame. Sadly enough, outside of his official pack duties it was times like this that Jeremy was most organized and clever. You could practically see the gears in his head turning, an excited almost childlike sparkle in his eyes.
Never underestimate Miss Violetta. She has had this thing planned for months. “That dye will stay in the hair for a couple of months at best. Enough for him to adopt a couple of nicknames…like Pinky or something along those lines.” Violet didn’t plan for the dye to come out in the shower. Oh no. That would simply be lazy of her if she didn’t think that far along in her evil plot. Violet grinned wickedly; enough that it was even starting to hurt her face. “The stuff is…” Violet dug in her pocket a bit before pulling it out and giving a wink. “…right here.” She read the label for a moment. “Gelatinous, I guess.”
"Awesome!" Jeremy all but jumped in place, purloining the tube for a second to scan the label as well, before handing it back to Violet. His grin expanded a little more, now threatening the joker like extreme it got to only when he was in mischief mode. "Oh, the things you can do with goo. You said he sleeps like the dead, right? So when are we doing this?" Please say now. Now would be GREAT.
Violet rubbed her chin in a Winnie the Pooh type manner, making an elaborate show really to tease her “favorite” packmate. When really she was getting ready to get this show on the road. Especially since Jess had left the side of the blond fighter…and who knows when someone might decide to visit him. They need to strike while the striking was good! “Um…now.” Violet beamed with a bounce.
Like Jeremy needed any extra encouragement? He all but burst into movement, heading directly in the direction of Kate's room. He'd be stealthy once they got closer, but right now excitement was taking hold. "This is gonna be so awesome," he said, flashing a sidelong grin at his co-conspirator. "We rock." These two were like two big kids and for someone like Jeremy who was in a state of perpetual immaturity, having someone around who could be of the same mindset was something he very much appreciated.
Violet grinned, biting back a giggle as her eyes flashed her wolf’s vibrant amber. Yes, there was full agreement between her and her wolf for doing such a deed. As she giggled, her wolf howled restlessly. “We totally rock.” She had to add the totally. Because…who else in the world would be dying a fighter’s hair pink without rocking? Certainly it was them. Which is why they were awesome. Especially since the pack needed these random outbursts of humor. Otherwise they’d get grey and boring. We can’t have that, now can we?
With Violet and Jeremy around, things would never be boring, that's for certain. It was one of the things that made Jeremy grateful he'd somehow landed in the pack he had. There weren't exactly many groups around that would put up with shenanigans of this caliber. Jeremy's inner wolf would feel bad later about matter of hierarchy of status at some time later. Well really, he'd only feel bad about it if he got caught, because then there would be the consequences. But as the pair neared Kate's room the only think taking up space in his brain was the sweet, sweet, satisfaction of seeing this through.
Violet let out an excited squeak. Oh…she was totally ready for this. Totally ready for the consequences. Since…the reaction was half the fun, really. Violet stopped at Kate’s door, pressing her ear against it and listening. She could hear him snoring which just made the wolf grin wickedly as she wiggled the door knob. Locked. Oh…they could get passed that. You don’t live for four hundred something years without learning something unlawful. Violet chewed on her bottom lip, working on the lock before it popped open.
So half the fun. Or more really, depending upon whom you asked. It was also probably the exact reason why a scrawny little guy like Jeremy could be so damn quick sometimes. Oh you could most certainly beat his ass for a prank or somesuch other joke he'd made, but you'd darn well have to catch him first. HE'd learn quite a few illegal things during the span of his life as well. However, most of them involved things online. After Violet got the door open, Jeremy cautiously stuck his head into the room, inconspicuously sniffing the air as alert blue eyes darted around the room. From the outside looking in the scene was probably almost comical looking, but when pranking being sneaky like ninja was a very critical step.
Violet poked in her head in, leaning on top of Jeremy eyes glowing a bright amber as she focused on the fighter’s sleeping form. A wicked little grin dancing along her face. Target sighted. Or…something tactical along those lines. Violet slid into the room, grinning devilishly at Kate as he turned over in his sleep. Moonshine fast asleep, zapping the wolf’s heat from her spot on his chest.
Jeremy followed suit just as stealthily, most of his attention on the feline in the room at the moment. Right now it was more likely that the cat might awake and alert the fighter to what was going on rather than the fighter waking of his own accord, so that would have to be dealt with. Carefully Jeremy reached out, lifting the sleeping cat from her place and setting her back down on a nearby chair. If he was lucky it had all been done quickly and comfortably enough for the cat to not care too much about being moved, as long as drifting right back into sleep was a possibility. Work with them here, Moonshine. Don't mess this up now. There are so cat treats in it for you later if you don't.
Moonshine gave the two wolves a disinterested look before curling up on the chair. Hey…she knew better to get in the way if those two were involved. Well…that and the cat was rather sleepy. It just wanted to get warm and sleep. For…a while. Violet offered Jeremy a cheeky grin as she circled around the other side, pulling out the tube of dye. Ohhh…this was going to be GREAT!
That cat was so on Jeremy's awesome list now. Violet's grin was returned as Jeremy's eyes darted from his partner in crime to their target. Good think Kate wasn't the kind to sleep with covers over his head, because if they had to unwrap his head to get to his hair this would be even more risky. Giving Violet a look of encouragement, Jeremy nodded as if to say 'Go on, go on!' So no turning back now.
Violet shook with excitement, mentally telling her wolf to shut it and back off as she worked her magic. She squeezed the bright pink gel into her hand, biting her bottom lip and stifling a giggle she put hands in the fighter’s hair. Slowly working in the pink hair dye into his hair. And he didn’t even notice! Kate was just asking for this to happen to him. Really he was.
Being that hard of a sleeper in a place with these two running around? Was definitely asking for it. And ooh, sudden idea- how well would that stuff work on his beard? Hmm.. Jeremy's shoulders rose and fell with laughter, even though he knew better than to do so audibly and indicated as much to the one actually coloring Kate's hair. Should they try it, or leave well enough alone?
Violet took out her hands from his hair, putting more and working more of the pink coloring into the fighter’s hair. Get it really bright. Make the new color make an impression. Jeez…Kate’s probably going to become paranoid of sleeping after this. Heh. All the more better if you ask Violet. They shouldn’t risk laughing…not until they got this finished and got out of the room. Then…they can fall over laughing. Violet might even burst something laughing so much even. Oh…my…Violet bit down on her bottom lip, eyes tearing up slightly. This was just too good. She…was a genius. That’s the only logical thing she could come up with right now. A bloody genius!! And of course, Jeremy was too. Without encouragement she would never have done it.
They were so a tag team of genius here. And see, actually pulling things like this off gives Jeremy the impulse to push the envelope and do thing like- see if maybe they can dye some of the sleepy kitty pink as well? Though he'd be reluctant to do that to their unwitting accomplice, it was still a thought. Jeremy could instigate with the best of them and once he got started himself- it was like a snowball going downhill. But best not to push things too far. While reckless and fun loving and at times as well as many other things, stupid was one thing Jeremy was not. Someone like him wouldn't have lasted very long before finding a pack if that were true. If nothing else, the guy had a strong sense of self-preservation. Once it looked like Violet was done with Kate's hair, he gestured that they should get the heck out of Dodge before the sheriff wakes up and raises high hell. Taking a step or two towards the door, he checks to make sure Violet's in agreement. They done in here, Heckle?
Violet gave a shift nod, picking up the empty tube of dye. Oh…she couldn’t wait till morning. She couldn’t…Violet scurried out the door biting her bottom lip and bouncing from the energy she had been holding back while in there.
It wasn't until they were in the next hallway that Jeremy allowed himself a full bout of laughter, pretty much doubling over with his arm around his stomach. "Tomorrow morning is going to be GREAT. I'm not missing breakfast for the world."
Violet broke out in laughter. After all, she was waiting to make sure Jeremy thought it was safe enough to laugh. Violet turned eight shades of red before starting to turn purple even. Violet wiped tears from her eyes, trying to control said laughter. But gaining no hope in doing so. “Setting my alarm…early. So I can watch the entire thing.” Though she had an idea that Kate was just going to overlook breakfast and go straight for them.
Which was exactly why Jeremy was going to get breakfast extra early. In addition to ensuring he'd be awake when Kate woke up, it would give him a chance to fuel up for all the fleeing he'd very likely be doing. "Oh yeah. We should ask Mara to take pictures." Because some things just warranted photo documentation.
