Name: Lucy Everett.
Nicknames: Her name is mainly shortened to Luce but she also answers to Lulu, though she has come to dislike that particular nickname. On occasion her surname has been used to get her attention, as well as the shortening of it to Ev' or Evie for some reason, which she actually rather likes.
Race: Werewolf; born.
Occupation: Pack Member; Lucian's Pack.
Gender: Female.
Skin Colour: Caucasian with little to no tan.
Age: 117, physically she looks to be in her early twenties.
Clothing: Lucy has a cross between an 'indie' and 'hippie' like style to her clothing. She's generally not too bothered what she looks like or even aware that she falls into such a category. She frequently wears loose fitting jeans and combat pants, the latter in varying shads of dark reds and earthy greens and browns. She is rather fond of a denim jacket she owns as well as a red zip up sweater with long sleeves that easily cover her hands. She wears button down shirts and t-shirts in an array of colours, rarely restricting herself though she does tend to avoid pinks and purples. She doesn't like to wear sneakers much and will usually wear a pair of brown leather sandals on her feet that she's had for years and are suitably worn and scuffed looking. Lucy will often wear thin scarves on top of her outfits, around her neck, tied as a belt and that is about as creative as she tends to get; her style mainly come from throwing on whatever she feels like. She occasionally wears a wrist brace on her left arm that fastens with a series of velcro straps and is meant to give support to her wrist.
Height: 5'4".
Weight: 110lbs.
Tattoos: None.
Piercings: None.
Jewellery: The one piece of jewellery she owns she hardly wears. Her mother's 'engagement' ring was given to her mere moments before Lucy fled the pack's home. She will often admire and wear it in her room but never does either beyond the doorway for fear of it being taken from her, irrational as that seems.
Body Modifications: Lucy bears several scars that are difficult to hide, all afflicted by the pack's current Alpha Female, Farryn Barlow. The most noticeable scar extends from her inner left elbow to her outer wrist. The young female will often wear clothes that will disguise this mark, unless otherwise 'ordered' by the inflictor. Others nick in diagonal lines across her shoulder blades and spine.
Wolf Form
Build: There is something extremely 'natural' about the colouring and build of Lucy's wolf form. A very lupine head and musculature lend her more towards passing herself off as an oversized wild animal; as such the traits of a normal wolf are where her strengths seem to lie, speed, agility and stealth over raw power. She can be aggressive and bloodthirsty to a certain degree in this form, when her anger is harder to control.
Height: A round 4' when in quadruped form, 7'2" when bipedal.
Weight: 230lbs, mostly in heavy fur.
Hair: Lucy' wolf form is quite mismatched in colouring. It is white around the muzzle and paws, shot through with grey in the main body of her coat and tapering into a tawny, almost rusty colouring along the top of her snout and tips of her ears. She has a sleek 'mane' running from just behind her ears to her shoulder blades where it then becomes free, not unlike like human hair. Much of her weight comes from the thickness of her fur.
Eyes: An ochre, amber colour.
Defining Marks: A medium length bushy tail with a white underside as well as her extremely wolfen shape head are the most defining features. The rusty tips if her ears and snout could also be considered distinctive for the contrast of her colouring. Her paws are also much more like human hands than actual lupine paws and she is able to grab things while in her wolf form.
Pack
Pack: Lucian's pack.
Position: Member.
Territory: Beverly Hills, surrounding the pack's Manor home.
Hair
Length: Swings easily past the bottom of her shoulder blades.
Style: Lucy doesn't style her hair. It is long and straight, and she likes to keep it that way. The most she will ever do with it is tie it back into a braid, or more likely a pony tail.
Colour: A light sandy blonde, naturally darker near the roots with hints of copper colouring in darker lights.
Facial Hair
Length: N/A
Style: N/A
Eyes
Colour: Lucy has what people tend to call, "Whiskey eyes", they are a pale brownish amber, offset more by the naturally light colouring of her skin and hair and tend to look darker in different lighting, sometimes a very deep brown. The colour is not all that different from the feral hue of her wolf.
Oddities: Lucy's eyes will betray their wolfen colouring when she is in the throes of a strong emotion such as fear or anger, or when she is in pain. Rarely does Lucy find occasion to show the colour of her own accord through teasing and mischief making, though as a child she was more then happy to. Her wolfen eye colour, though not dissimilar than that of her human's, is nevertheless much more luminous and entirely recognisable.
Personality: Not so long ago Lucy was a bubbly, enthusiastic and witty young wolf, not taking herself too seriously and mostly found laughing. She liked nothing better than a good laugh with her friends, a game of jump rope or some variation of games that involved running like 'Capture the Flag' or something equally as rough and tumble, energetic and traditional. She very much enjoyed fooling around with the other young pack members, grazing her knees and getting knocks and bruises here and there, always the optimist ready with a smile and a joke to lift the mood of those around her. Everything seemed so wholesome and carefree until the battle that destroyed the pack home and the narrow escape that followed.
Nowadays she is docile and quiet, her old persona rarely even touching the surface though from time to time there is the ghost of an old smile. She minds her own business as most of the pack does the same and is more or less at the Alpha female's beck and call to be used as an outlet for the brunette's fierce temper; Farryn seems to enjoy beating the blonde into a state of obedience. Lucy doesn't expect anyone to speak out against her treatment and no longer does so herself; not because she's particularly brave and would rather herself be hit than anyone else, far from it. She is simply very aware that she isn't the only one who has suffered at the hands of one of the mad Alpha pair and sees no reason to make a big deal about it, she copes quietly.
With the beatings she has withdrawn into herself and continues to do so more everyday. She is mostly impassive and quiet, somewhat of a miserable presence wherever she goes, speaking little if she can manage it and in general the pack seem to keep a distance from her in group settings. Internally she carries a lot of anger around with her, at the Alphas and at herself and it is honestly the one thing that had kept her going this long; she hates what the pack has become. She thinks her parents would be ashamed to see her now and that, if nothing else only makes her more humiliated at the thought of their disappointment. If she could get away, she would, but Lucy doesn't see any way of escaping and surviving, though that criterion is something that is beginning to matter less to the female everyday; she feels she is simply starting to give in.
Weaknesses: Lucy has the typically allergy to silver as any of her kind, it can cause her to become dizzy and nauseated and physically burns her skin upon touch. This can be fatal depending upon length of exposure and the type of contact. After a few dislocated bones in her left wrist courtesy of Farryn, the joint and adjoining ligament ache something fierce if she knocks it just in the wrong place or, for instance, sleeps on it. Her right hip sometimes bothers her, oddly enough in extreme differences in climate and can be stiff on occasions but for the most part she has taken good care to heal well from the injury. She is able to change forms at will but unable to suppress the wolf within at the full moon, she doesn't even seem that bothered with trying to anymore; she surrenders on the nights of the lunar cycle with no contest. It gives her a reprieve from her occupation she fulfils the rest of the month as she is free to spend the night alone in her wolf form, she feels safer that way since it is around this time that Farryn can be at her most violent.
She gave up resisting her 'position' in the pack a long time ago out of fear and having no other option available to her. She seems to have accepted her fate to be the Alpha female's punching bag and keeps quiet about how much she despises Farryn, more with every fist that lands. She hates herself for not fighting back, but knows that if she did it she would likely pay with her life. So she shuts up and takes the abuse, quietly cultivating her hatred even though it can clearly be a weakness to her.
Abilities: Most abilities beyond the standards of lycanthropy are kept to herself and rarely aired. Heightened senses, stamina, speed, the capacity to jump huge distances without breaking pace and a superhuman healing speed are the innate abilities that the young wolf shares with her kind. More personally, she is an accomplished, classically trained harpist and vocalist, but does not own an instrument on which to play, nor does she sing that much. She misses it but would rather not risk making it an issue, another thing Farryn can simply take away from her. Over time she has become able to affectively read Farryn's moods and knows most of her fighting techniques, having been on the receiving end of them, this could obviously prove useful should she ever want to act on her desire to leave again.
Weapons: Lucy does not carry weapons on her person and doesn't own any personally, but thanks to her brother and her parents she is well versed in hand to hand combat (namely Sanshou which was her brother's preferred style of fighting) and has in the past shown interest and skill with classic swords like the Sabre (Particularly the Dao, the Chinese Sabre used in tandem with Sanshou). However over the years she has trained less and less and has become a little rusty in her abilities. She is beginning to feel there is no point in them anymore since she can't defend herself against the one person who does the most damage.
Prized Possessions: Her mother's white gold engagement ring is the only thing that Lucy has and holds dear, she is well aware she is lucky to even have that.
'Engagement' Ring
Home(s): Though the pack has been nothing if not nomadic for years, they currently reside in the Red Moon Manor in Beverly Hills.
History: Like many of the current pack members, Lucy was young and more or less completely unprepared when the life she had known growing up was swept out from under her feet. Her parents were accomplished fighters, well liked and well respected amongst their peers and her elder brother seemed ready to follow in their footsteps, something even the youngest, most lively Everett family member was also keen to do. Before she got the chance to pursue the idea further though, both Siobhan and Jason Everett along with their son Richard died in the fighting and the subsequent blaze that left the mansion in Ireland in ruins. The last time Lucy saw her family was during the fight; her mother defended her daughter, ushering her in the direction of the cellars even as the attackers were racing towards them. She removed her engagement ring form her hand and pressed it into her daughter's before she sent her running to safety, holding back those who sought to wipe out the pack completely. Lucy can only assume that her mother perished in her defence, along with her father and brother whom she had not seen since before the beginning of the final, crippling attack.
Like all the survivors she mourned them as they moved onwards, leaving the land they knew so well behind them. Lucian Mar became their Alpha with little to no argument, Molly Cullen taking the place at his side as his mate and together they guided the young remains of the pack through the shock they all felt. Lucy followed quietly as they were chased by the vampires, her personality instantly shifted into gentler territory as she became a listener and a shoulder to cry on for those of what remained of her family should they need it; she essentially grew up in a snap with the destruction of everything she had once known and the sacrifice her mother made to keep her alive.
It was obvious to all of them that something was wrong though, something didn't quite sit right about the Alpha male. Steadily things got worse right before the pack's eyes and in a flash everything changed once again. Molly left, Lucian was scarred and angry and seemed to decline ever further into madness after the event. She watched in horror as he tore through whoever opposed him, too frightened and small to do anything about any of it. Farryn Barlow became his mate and for Lucy Everett, this was the next real turning point in her life.
She and Farryn had been raised opposite one another to a certain degree despite their age difference; their parents' having known each other since they too were young wolves and the girls were expected to gel as one big family, as sisters in a way. Farryn and Lucy, however, were about as far from sisterly towards one another as was possible. They were continuously butting heads with their drastically clashing personalities; Farryn's 'big fish in a small pond' complex added fuel to the fire as much as Lucy's playful energy did. As the Alpha female the brunette proved more stable than her new mate but with the potential to be equally mad on occasion, and she took the childhood rivalry to the next level simply because she could. Lucy quickly became the example to the rest of the pack that Lucian was not the only one with the temper and power capable of inflicting pain. It started gradually, a punch here or there, bruises and black eyes when Lucy put a foot wrong. They were few and far between; a few weeks could go by, months even before she'd get another physical rebuke. But as Farryn's arrogance and lust for violence grew, so too did the frequency of the attacks, and the maliciousness of them.
It wasn't uncommon for Lucy to have various cuts and bruises along her arms and jaw, but she began hiding in her room after such attacks until the most painful of the wounds had started to heal. She was frightened by what reaction they might produce and yet more frightened that there wouldn't be a reaction at all, that the pack was too scared to stick up for its own. That thought truly terrified the young female, the idea that they had declined so far from what they had once been in Ireland; a family.
Lucy has only ever once acted the desire to leave, to escape the frankly brutal life that she had somehow fallen into by chance but her attempt was discovered before she could even leave her room. After receiving the latest in a long line of poundings, Lucy panicked and decided she had to leave that night. Somehow, Farryn got wind and confronted Lucy whilst the blonde was gathering herself together in the early hours of the morning. Rather than kill her there and then for the attempted 'escape', the Alpha simply made sure she would never try it again. First she knocked her around, delivering powerful enough blows to the younger wolf's head to leave her dizzied and disorientated, on the brink of a concussion, and then she simply pushed her out of the upper floor's window. Lucy hit the ground beneath side on, unable to get her bearings in her confused state quickly enough to right herself. She fractured the ilium of her pelvis and the adjoining hip joint on her right side in the impact and was in immobile agony for almost three weeks while the internal damage healed. Though she has thought about escaping many times since, she has learnt her lesson as Farryn intended and has never actually attempted to leave since that night.
After she had recovered enough to walk, she barely left her room by choice with the pain so fresh in her mind, even now she mostly ventures out of her room at quieter times or at night if she can manage it, if and when she is seen around the pack's home Lucy is usually sporting one bruise or another and mostly in a place that they can be seen, or at least so the discomfort the injuries cause the blonde is obvious. Farryn likes the pack to know what happens when her temper is ignited and uses the younger female as a walking billboard.
Due in most part to this treatment Lucy is beginning to lose the internal battle, to keep herself going from day-to-day, her belief that sooner or later things are going to have to change; that they have to get better is waning. By day she sits in her window reading or simply staring outside. She hasn't actively trained combat wise for weeks or ventured near any sort of musical pursuits. Even she doesn't know how much longer she can hold out for and frankly the end, whatever form it may take, is starting to seem appealing to her.
