Continued from: Parking Garage with Bo
The apartment was small-ish, she noticed. Nothing extravagant at all, which was perfectly a-okay with Mimi; she wasn’t picky.
Her purse and borrowed helmet were dropped by the door when she stepped inside after Bo. She followed him into the den area, the heels of her cowboy boots muffled by the worn carpet. The jean jacket she wore came off slowly, something that could have been a tease, but then again, she could have just been taking her time; observing her surroundings. More likely than not, it was the former.
She met Bo’s eyes and quirked an eyebrow, grinning subtly. ‘Well?’ the expression asked.

His keys were tossed into a small tray off to the side of the room, and for a while, the sound of the metal sliding against the container was the only noise in the room… to human ears, anyway. Bo, on the other hand, heard the sounds of his companion breathing, and even her faint heartbeat. Turning to look at her, he was just in time to see her jacket slide down her arms to be casually thrown aside.
His brow quirked in return.
She was teasing him. He was very aware of that; he had been around long enough to be able to tell that without even trying, and he smirked at her, his expression not nearly as subtle as hers as he kept the wolf from his eyes. Part of him wanted to investigate what it was about this human that made her ‘feel’ different, but those curiosities were pushed back for the urges of both sides of him; man and animal. He crossed the room, to be closer to her, subtly breathing in her scent more deeply now that they were away from the heaving crowds and streets.

A quiet laugh slipped from her, and Mimi held her ground, waiting for Bo to come to her. He moved...differently. She had noticed it before in the club, but now that she didn't have a barful of thirsty customers to distract her, she could give the blonde male her full attention. His movements were fluid and undeniably graceful; no human she knew could move like that.
Curiousity would have to wait, though. With a teasing smile, she stepped forward to invade his personal space once again. Had she been of a more supernatural persuasion, her eyes would have shifted, flickered to a different color as many of her werewolf friends' did. Mimi's eyes only held a wicked spark, a constant thing, really, but it intensified when she locked gazes with her companion while her fingers worked on the zipper of his jacket.

Bo was having a hard time fighting back the intense, burning blue of his wolf; he always had this problem. Most of the time, girls didn’t notice, but something about Mimi told him that she would, and while he was undeniably curious as to what her reaction would be, he couldn’t help but be instinctively wary… if only a little. For now, he would deny it; hold it back… for now.
He stood before her, very much appreciating the proximity, bringing with it the strength and uniqueness of her scent; the alcohol and desire and power. There was something about her that he couldn’t deny, and he almost growled approvingly, barely managing to bite it back as he locked his gaze on hers, almost in a challenge, as his jacket came free and slipped down his arms to the floor by his heels.

His shirt was next, the buttons smooth beneath her fingers as she kept her own blue eyes locked with Bo's. She couldn't look away, not just because of the challenge that his gaze presented, but something in her companion's eyes caught her. An intensity; a feral intensity. The blonde 'tender decided to at least see if her theory was correct. Probablly couldn't hurt to ask.
After the last button was undone, she smirked, tugging the shirt from the waistband of Bo's jeans. Her fingertips dragged feather-light down the bare skin beneath and, with a curious tilt of her head, she queried, "You're not just some average Joe, are you?"

She was a smart girl… but he’d had that feeling going in. She hadn’t struck him as some bimbo behind a bar; far from it. And the more time he spent with her, the more she intrigued him, and the more he realised she… knew more than he’d originally thought. He wasn’t sure why, but he didn’t particularly care.
As his wolf bristled at the light touch against his skin, he held her gaze, and smiled; crooked but entertained; impressed even. She didn’t seem like the type to run and hide if he answered truthfully, and really, despite his failings, Bo was a big believer in honesty. Besides, he hated hiding who and what he was… he loved it too much to deny it.
He let down the ‘walls’, as it were, and as he replied, his eyes flashed more intensely; “What gave me away?”

She had suspected, but still wasn't entirely prepared for the sudden change of his eyes. It startled her, embarrasingly enough, but after the quiet gasp that slipped out, Mimi giggled. Her grin was just as crooked was Bo's, and while she spoke, her fingertips continued their light trek across his torso; teasing and playful.
"You don't move like a human," she explained casually. Her fingers curled slightly against his abdomen to let her nails scratch, still teasingly light as she continued, "Too fluid and easy. And only a wolf would drive like that down Rodeo Drive."

“Damn…” he mumbled, but with an easy grin. “Here I was hoping I’d mastered the art of discretion.” Oh, he knew he was about as subtle as a brick to the head, most of the time, but sometimes, he genuinely did try. Obviously, tonight had not been a success, but she wasn’t backing away and calling him a demon or reaching for anything silver, so he didn’t have to worry about that. He wouldn’t have been worried at any rate, exactly; more disappointed and annoyed.
No longer having to hide it, her scratch had encouraged a small, harmless growl, and he took his bottom lip between his teeth briefly, before his feral gaze caught on the pendant around her neck. Quietly amused, he said to her, “Y’know, in some myths and legends, that’s the symbol of the werewolf…” He met her gaze teasingly again, trusting her to distinguish between ‘innocence’ and anything else as he continued, “Some say a wolf would mark their victim with that symbol.”

Mimi glanced down to her pendant; the polished pewter pentacle winked back in the wan light of the room. "Hmmm," she murmured, her expression 'thoughtful' for a moment. It shifted quickly to a lopsided smile that was all kinds of wicked. "Almost like a mark of... possession?"
Hoping to prove her point, she dropped her hands to Bo's belt and tugged. If she wanted to, she could get rid of that pesky shirt, too, with little more than a thought, but that would be telling. She didn't want to lay all her cards out right away.

The tug provoked another growl, and inspired a new, vivid flash that showed the wolf clawing at the surface; she seemed to know exactly which buttons to push, and he would be lying if he said he wasn’t excited or encouraged by that, and in response to her question, his tone low and almost rumbled, he told her, “You could say that…”
One of his hands wandered her own waist, teasing above the line of her pants and finding smooth flesh, and his gaze lowered to watch his fingertips tease over the exposed skin. Angling up, his eyes found hers again. His own curiosity was strong at the surface, but he could ignore it for now, in favour of their proximity and the flirtation. “But of course,” he continued, his voice almost throaty and partly-growled; husky and deeper than normal, “in the legends, the wolf had to mark the victim themselves.” He grinned subtly. “So… it makes you wonder…” His attention wandered downward again, and he watched his hand move over her waist.

The graze of his fingers tickled her and she squirmed instinctively, unable to help but laugh quietly. She managed to stifle her mirth when she met Bo's intensely bright gaze, looking up at him through her eyelashes. Stepping forward pressed her body tight into his; she could smell a faint hint of smoke, a bit of the alcohol from the club, cologne...he smelled good.
"Well, I haven't actually been marked," she purred down his ear before turning her head to catch the lobe between her teeth. "Yet..."

He growled again, low but rumbling in his throat and chest, and his hand at her waist shifted to become a little more ‘possessive’, moving to the small of her back to hold her in the proximity she had initiated, breathing in her scent again, the animal in him wavering close to the surface, fading and then returning to overwhelm more human reactions and behaviour, and he wondered if the roots of his blonde hair were dark, inky and wolfen.
“Careful…” he warned, his tone subtly amused and taunting, “that sounds almost like an invitation…” He bowed to her neck, kissing it before grazing it with his teeth; a ghost of a touch, but an emphasis on his playful words all the same.

"Mmph...didn't say it was," Mimi retorted, feeling delightfully dizzy. That shirt of his was really starting to become a bother. In hopes of rectifying the situation, she grasped the opened front of it and tugged, playing a bit rough. The fabric snapped down, catching at Bo's elbows; almost pinioning his arms. Mimi grinned up into Bo's cobalt gaze and brought her face close enough to his so their noses brushed.
"But I didn't say it wasn't, either."

Bo knew, if he really wanted to, he could easily get free of her ‘trap’, but to be honest, he didn’t want to. There was something exciting about the challenge, even if he was arrogantly aware that he was more powerful than her. That didn’t mean he would immediately show her that, though… no, he would build up to it. When he wanted to be, when it mattered, he could be patient.
“Careful what you wish for…” His voice was low still, something of a growl as he inched his face closer to hers, his lips dangerously close to hers, before he closed that final distance and kissed her without waiting for a reply.

Finally...
Mimi's enthusiasm was more than evident, from the way she fisted her hands into Bo's shirt, to the manner in which she kept her body flush to his. The heat of his skin seeped through her covered torso, and while it seared her, there were still shivers chasing themselves up and down her spine. She let herself moan quietly and, on a random impulse, sank her teeth lightly into his lower lip.
In that same instance, her eyes fluttered open -- she couldn't remember closing them -- and her gaze dropped to Bo's belt. The 'tender's hands didn't leave his shirt, but there was the sound of clicking metal, a hiss of leather against fabric, then a dull thump when the belt was flung across the room to bounce off the couch.
