NAME: Hunter.
NICKNAMES: None.
RACE: Werewolf; pureborn.
OCCUPATION: Pack Fighter.
GENDER: Male.
SKIN COLOUR: African by descent.
NATIONALITY: African.
AGE: 604, though physically, he appears to be somewhere around thirty years of age.
CLOTHING: Hunter’s wardrobe is comprised entirely of black clothing, without exception. It is perhaps a reflection on his state of mind, or his personality in general, but he never wears any other colour, though the materials do vary, depending on the task that’s ahead of him. His clothing is always practical, given Hunter’s prepared, almost permanent battle-ready state, and as such, it is fitting without being constrictive, so it won’t hinder his movement in a fight, or if he is stalking something, or someone. He owns and never deviates from a pair of badly scuffed, black toe-capped boots that look almost military, in terms of footwear, and if and when it is needed, he owns a hip-length jacket, naturally black in colour.
HEIGHT: 5’11.
WEIGHT: 194lbs.
TATTOOS: N/A.
PIERCINGS: N/A.
JEWELLERY: N/A.
BODY MODIFICATIONS: Given his ‘occupation’ and the life he has led with the pack, Hunter is not without his scars, though none are more remarkable than any of the others, and as such, not worth mentioning.
WOLF FORM.
BUILD: To put it bluntly, Hunter’s wolf is a tank of a creature, and sadistically vicious to boot, understandably. A powerhouse of almost exaggerated muscle and wicked talons, he seems almost disproportionate, with a stocky, broad chest, rippling arms and legs, large hands and feet — both of which are almost half claw alone — but a strangely small head on a thick, short neck. That doesn’t make the business end of his head any less threatening or dangerous, however, with his knife-sharp canines and fangs in a powerful jaw. He has thin, pointed ears, and to finish off the rather brutal package, he has an extremely long, sweeping tail that could almost double as a whip for the length of it. Because of the extra joint in his legs, Hunter can also walk either bipedal or quadruped, depending on the situation, though he prefers two legs for the range and stamina, not to mention the height.
HEIGHT: Bipedal — 8’3; Quadruped — 4’6.
WEIGHT: 287lbs.
HAIR: Quite sparse over a lot of his body, completely absent over his legs, chest and arms, making him all the more suited to long distance running at recklessly high speeds. He has a rough covering of pelt around his waist, his tail is full and thick, tapering off towards the tip, and there is a shaggy mane around his neck and the back of his head, to protect the former. It is dark grey-brown in colour.
EYES: A wickedly bright orange-red.
DEFINING MARKS: The extensive musculature, the sparse coat over his body, the viciously large talons and his extremely long tail.
PACK.
PACK: Sheppard’s Pack.
POSITION: Fighter, though technically, all members of the pack are fighters.
TERRITORY: Wherever Sheppard is at any given moment.
HAIR.[/i]
LENGTH: Less than a millimetre, if he has any say in the matter. Hunter shaves his head, preferring the minimal effort that goes along with the no-nonsense look.
STYLE: Shaved.
COLOUR: N/A, though if he did let it grow, it would be black.
FACIAL HAIR.[/i]
LENGTH: Only a couple of centimetres usually, at the most; this, like his hair, is minimal, but he actually allows his facial hair to grow a little.
STYLE: For definition more than anything, kept trim in a thin moustache and goatee-type growth around his chin.
EYES.[/i]
COLOUR: Brown.
ODDITIES: Like all werewolves, Hunter’s eyes will flash if he is experiencing a powerful emotion such as rage, or if he is intending to intimidate or taunt an opponent. Hunter is actually fond of showing his wolf’s eyes, if only because they are such a sharp contrast to his ‘human’ shade.
PERSONALITY: Hunter, like his fellow wolves in the pack, is no-nonsense, a soldier and a brutal one at that, dedicated solely to Sheppard and the old male’s cause. He, like the Alpha, believes Sheppard to be the ‘The First’ of their kind, and sees him not unlike a god, doing his bidding without question, and all too ready to leap in to sacrifice himself for their leader if it is needed. He has no doubt in his mind that Sheppard’s word is law, and believes wholeheartedly in the old wolf’s cause and actions. Any who defy Sheppard immediately go into Hunter’s ‘bad books’, and since he adores violence and carnage, something of a sadist at heart, he is only too keen to show them the gravity of their error.
Hunter loves violence, and fighting, perhaps too much. It is almost as if he doesn’t feel exhaustion or pain, when fighting, and to him, there is nothing like the dull smack of a fist against flesh; the crack of a bone as it breaks beneath his hands or under one of his cruel blows, and the only times Hunter smiles or grins are in combat, when he is beating an opponent into the ground, sometimes literally.
The pack is his life, and his life is the pack; for Hunter, what Sheppard says, goes, and he seems perfectly content to live the rest of his life that way.
WEAKNESSES: As a werewolf, Hunter is naturally ‘allergic’ to the metal silver; it would nauseate, burn, poison or kill him, depending on the amount of contact and infection into his body. The worse the infection, the greater the likelihood of poisoning and death, ultimately. The only other weakness Hunter exhibits is his unwavering, blind loyalty to Sheppard, so the old male could easily order him to run himself through on a silver sword, and Hunter would do it, without question, and if anyone were to threaten Sheppard, he would let himself be killed in his Alpha’s place. It wouldn’t be all that hard to abuse such a loyalty.
ABILITIES: Like all lycanthropes, Hunter has the traditional set of abilities: enhanced strength, speed, stamina, endurance, grace, agility, balance; senses off the chart; increased pain threshold and healing factor; the ability to leap to, from and across great distances; and his wolf form, which he has complete control over, thanks to his age and discipline. Near-immortal anyway, Hunter has an exceptionally high pain tolerance, no doubt thanks to Sheppard’s ‘teachings’, and can plough on through a battle with blood pouring out of him and broken bones, without even feeling it, no doubt thanks to such training from his Alpha and what has to be an incredibly powerful burst of adrenaline. He is an exceptional hand-to-hand fighter, and can most certainly hold his own with a blade and firearms, preferring the more heavy-duty variety of weapons, such as swords or shotguns; Hunter can also fire a bow, if it is needed of him.
WEAPONS: Though Hunter does prefer to use his fists and body in general when fighting, he owns two high calibre handguns and a vicious bowie knife.
PRIZED POSSESSIONS: None, unless one can count Sheppard himself.
HOME(S): Wherever the pack decides to reside at any given time.
HISTORY: Hunter doesn’t know where he came from or what his life was like before he was taken under Sheppard’s wing, and frankly, wants nothing to do with such knowledge. Some say knowledge is power, but Hunter does not believe in such a thing; to him, power is power, quite obviously, and he found that with Sheppard and ‘the flock’, as their Alpha calls them. Hunter, being somewhere in the middle, age-wise, in the group, saw the arrivals of Striker and their Omega, and if anything, such introductions made him all the more devoted to Sheppard; he believes the old male to be infallible and truly immortal.
For centuries, without question and exception, he has followed Sheppard wherever he goes, following his word and doing his dirty work, almost gleefully carrying out any gritty, violent, even murderous commands, only glad to be of service to his Alpha.
