Mimi did a fairly impressive job of multitasking. She served drinks with her usual flair -- tossing a bottle here, spinning a glass there -- and actually saw a good deal of Laurie's performance, practically beaming as she watched her friend on stage. While Mimi was always one to enjoy the spotlight, she loved watching Laurie do her thing; the energy that the singer pulled from the club was electrifying. Of course, the blonde bartender could allow herself to be distracted once her rounds were finished for the time being. Such was the case when she spotted a familiar face at the bar.
"McFee!" Mimi practically squealed as she scampered over to greet the younger human. Naturally, she noticed the blonde male at her newest friend's side...and couldn't help but be intrigued. The kid -- if he was a kid -- was quite easy on the eyes.

With a wolf’s sharp hearing, Bo didn’t miss the squeal as someone noticed Fee, and he turned his head almost lazily as the woman bounced over. She was blonde, pretty tall for a human female, and pretty much radiated energy in the way she moved and held herself. He kept his face impassive, but he was still curious. This had to be the one Fee had told her about. If only he’d been paying complete attention; off the top of his head, he couldn’t remember a name. Oh well. All in good time.
He glanced to Fiona, letting her take the lead on this one. Clearly, she knew the other human, so he would let her make the introductions. He could be patient… sometimes.

"Hiya Kansas!"
Fee through the blonde wolf at beside her a sidelong little smirk before she leaned over the table to except Mimi's hug. Bartender and skater had met barely a week ago when the latter had tried to by alcohol with a fake I.D. Mimi had been amused by Fee's resourcefulness and cheeky; the two were fast becoming friends. Unfortunately, Mimi still refused to serve the young skater a Long Island ice tea.
"Bobby an' them're up near the stage," Mimi drawled with a smirk. "Think they're tryin' to make sure that red-headed buddy of yours don't try an' join Laurie up there."
The blonde country girl nodded towards Bo; Fiona was pleased to see a spark of curiousity in Mimi's blue eyes. "Who's your friend?" she inquired.

It was no surprise to the male wolf to hear that Tad was perhaps trying to climb up on stage. It wouldn’t have been the first time; Bo remembered pulling him down himself on one occasion actually, though that had been partly for his own enjoyment. Tad had landed on his ass, after all. Bo was nothing if not spontaneously childish.
He was partway through removing his biker gloves when he heard the woman behind the bar inquire after him, and he turned blue eyes in her direction, smirking discreetly. Okay, so maybe the curiosity was going to his head, but he didn’t care. He pulled the glove off all the way, letting it fall into his black helmet, and met the woman’s gaze. “Her friend’s called Bo,” he told her almost slyly, pulling off the other glove.

Mimi raised an eyebrow while a corner of her mouth twitched upward. So this was Bo. Little Fee had mentioned him a few times before, but the blonde bartender had never made the pleasure of his aquaintance, until now. Mimi couldn't quite help giving him the standard once-over. Call it a habit.
Fee's been holdin' out on me, she thought with an inward smirk. "Bo?" the country girl repeated the name, trying it out, flavoring it with her Kansas drawl. "Pleased to meet you, Bo."
Her smile widened a bit, glinting with mischief and suggestion as she offered a hand. "They call me Mimi."

Had Bo known that Fee talked about him while he wasn’t around, and not necessarily in a bad way, it would have gone right to his head. It was probably for the best that he was ignorant to such a fact.
The werewolf took note of the drawl, smirking crookedly at the sound of it; not in a mocking manner, but rather quietly amused, in a good way. He reached over and took the hand in his own, in greeting. “Then I guess I’ll call you Mimi too,” he told her cheekily, cocking his head.
Had Mimi been one of the gang, or another werewolf, Bo might have let his eyes flash, but as it was, he had to fight back the impulse. It probably wouldn’t have mattered in the dim, moody lighting anyway…

“Works for me,” she retorted, carefully slipping her hand from his grip. He seemed tolerable enough, at least. That smirk hinted at all kinds of cockiness, but if Fiona could put up with him, he was okay in Mimi’s book. Not to mention there was that biker helmet of his, just sitting there on the counter…all right, maybe he was a bit more than okay.
You are so shallow. The tender grinned at the pair before her, asking, “What can I get the pair of ya?” Before Fee could get a word in edgewise, she added, “Root beer for you, I know.”
Fiona glared. “Killjoy.”
Mimi just smiled her dimpled smile while she fetched the beverage. Fiona took the soda with a grumble, and the blonde female turned to Bo with a crooked grin. “How ‘bout you, sugah?”

Bo couldn’t help but chuckle mischievously at Fee’s pout, and gave her a little nudge with his elbow, a fake-sympathetic ‘there, there’. He knew how she hated being underage. Of course, therein lay the problem for Bo himself… he could easily pass for a college student, which could lead to all sorts of frustrations. It was ridiculous, considering he was over two centuries in age — if only just — but he couldn’t exactly tell people that… unless he truly trusted them.
“Hmm…” He narrowed his eyes, considering the question, before he met her gaze. “Y’know… I’m feeling adventurous.” He bit his bottom lip cheekily for a moment, and then said to her, “Surprise me.”

Mimi's grin made her eyes shine with mischief. "Surprise you? All right, darlin'," she consented. "But remember: you asked for it."
The routine that followed was one that the bartender knew well. Flair bartending was easy for her; always had been. She turned bottles over her shoulder, tossing and flipping them with an ease that was almost supernatural. Of course, with her 'special skills' it pretty much was. More than once she should have dropped a bottle, or the glass, but didn't. A sober person would have seen how the glassware seemed to hover at times, but the lighting was dim, and most everyone was thoroughly sozzled already, so no harm done.
"One Kamikaze," Mimi announced when all was said and done, winking as she handed over the volatile cocktail. "On the house."

Inside, his wolf stirred in curiosity and amusement at the use of the word ‘darlin’’, and he almost laughed at himself. He grinned at the human instead, and while her back was turned, he allowed his eyes to flash, as if keeping them from doing so was costing him something, when really, he just liked letting the little teases to the surface.
He watched her as she spun and flipped the bottles, clearly entertained by the show, but in his quiet, sly way, not giving too much away. With his keen eyesight, he thought he saw the hovering, but decided not to mention it… maybe there was more to this Mimi than met the eye. He liked the sound of that, and he smirked deviously as she handed over the drink. He accepted it in one hand, and the smirk became a grin. “On the house? I can live with that.”
He was tempted to down it, to show just how tough a werewolf’s stomach and throat could be, but he settled for drinking some of it without so much as a flinch instead.

"Huh," the blonde 'tender let her own wicked smile flash, quick and flirtatious. "Got ourselves a tough guy, it seems." Smirking, she turned to Fee. "I like 'im, McFee. Boy's got some 'tude."
Fiona just about snorted soda out her nose. "'Tude? Oh, he's got 'tude all right." The young woman set down her root beer and leaned closer; conspiratorial. "Remind me to enlighten you, Mimi."
"Oh god," Mimi laughed. Briefly, she caught Bo's eye again, grinning, even though she still spoke to Fiona. "I dunno whether to be frightened or intrigued."

Bo liked flirtation… maybe a little too much, but it set off a little spark in the very core of his chest, one that seemed to rile and stir the wolf, and he cocked his head with a smirk again. He looked cheekily to Fee, her words just rolling off his back, almost, and shrugged at her, as if a little ‘‘tude’ was healthy. Naturally, in his world, it was. In fact, it was encouraged.
“Just to cover your bases,” he said to Mimi, “maybe you should go for both.” He lifted his brows in an almost daring fashion, hoping to keep her intrigued. For a human outside of the gang, she was pretty damn intriguing herself; something about her had his curiosity peaked, to say the least.

Intrigued? He didn't know the half of it. Like almost every night at Lunacy, this one hadn't been dull, not in the least. But now, Mimi hoped things would go from merely amusing to all kinds of devious fun. Naturally, when the bartender pulled her full attention back to Bo, her sharp, blue gaze probably hinted at what she was thinking. Granted, she could have just projected it straight into his mind, but that could wait.
"Oh, and he's 'modest,' too," she growled, leaning over the bar a bit more than was probably necessary. Her smirk was nothing short of wicked as she continued, "I see a lot of cocky biker boys comin' through here, darlin'. Any particular reason why I should bother with you?"
Fiona's snort of laughter carried even over the pounding music. Mimi's mouth twitched as a laugh threatened, but that was it. Backing down from this little 'competition' was not an option.

Bo met Mimi’s gaze, once again holding back the wolfen flash in his eyes. He, of course, was not ‘built’ for submission; he was a wolf, and a dominant one too. He liked to lead, and didn’t like backing down. For him, that wasn’t an option. So he held her gaze, challenging and confident, and smirked almost knowingly.
“Because,” he began, his tone sly and self-assured, “there’s more to me than meets the eye…” He grinned. “Darlin’…”
He hoped that would be enough to keep her attention. Idly, he turned his glass, slowly, against the bar-top, cocking his head as he waited for her inevitable response. Bo liked a challenge, and Mimi was proving to be just that.

"Oooh, you sure know how to tease a girl," Mimi shot back. She grinned at Bo, sly and crooked, before she stepped back. The Stetson that she had stolen earlier was taken from beneath the bar and placed jauntily on her head.
"Gotta be makin' my rounds again," she told both Bo and Fiona, flashing the younger girl a playful wink. The sly smirk returned when she caught the blonde male's eyes again. "Holler if you need anythin'."
"Don't worry," Fee replied for Bo as she laughed around the rim of her glass. "He will."
Mimi laughed and grinned as she returned to her duties. She danced back and forth behind the bar, provocative twists of her torso and hips that made the barflies thristy enough to keep the orders -- and tips -- coming.
