"Ohhh," Yelena 'smiled' though there was little to no humour in her eyes or in the tone of voice she used, "A religious type after all. How interesting. I haven't had one of you lot before, hard to believe, I know. I've seen and done most things but... religion gives me the tummy rumblings, especially Catholicism." She narrowed oddly coloured eyes at him across the dim room. She'd caught the catch in his throat, somewhere between a gulp and a choke and it made her curious.
She tilted her head away from Thomas', "Go ahead and say what's on you're mind, baby. This is a safe space." Clearly she found her sarcasm amusing because she straightened up with an undeniable sneer.

Her words seemed to indicate that she had some experience in this kind of thing and he swallowed again, inwardly panicking at the realisation she had caught his little sound when he had cut himself off. It seemed to prove that she had better hearing, the so called advanced senses vampires were supposed to have because he knew he had been quiet.
“I was wondering…” Deiniol trailed off for a moment, trying to sort out all the jumbled thoughts in his mind. He wondered a lot of things, including why him, what had made her single him out but he wasn’t feeling quite that brave enough to ask those, mainly because he was rather sure he wouldn’t like the answers. So he returned to his original question, one he felt was slightly safer. “I was wondering what your name is…”

She blinked momentarily. He was so polite. Even now after everything he had been through that evening, everything she had put him through he remained well spoken. The poor lamb was terrified, naturally, and that most likely had a lot to do with his attitude. She was evidentially in the position of power but still... Yelena gave a small smile, drawing back silkily from Thomas, whose head remained bowed and submissive. "He wants to know who I am, hear that Tommy-boy? You never asked me that, you know. I'm actually touched. Deiniol here wants to know my name."
With a cold kind of pleasure Yelena walked past the table that the two men occupied the ends of, running her fingers along the surface as she approached the young Welshman, her eyes locking in with his intensely, "I'm the shiver up your spine when the lights are out. I'm the name written on all the men's room walls and that dirty little feeling you get when you daydream about the girl at the corner store." She rounded the corner of the table, pulling herself up onto the end, sitting directly opposite Deiniol and crossing her legs, her fingers wrapping themselves around the lip of the edge.
Her voice was low and serious, the smile gone as she stared at him, intently watching his eyes, "I am Yelena."

His eyes had widened as she started moving towards him and for a moment, Denny had the selfish thought that he wished he had never said anything at all. Had never distracted her from Thomas so she didn’t come towards him. It shamed him the moment he had it, but the main feeling overriding everything was that of pure fear, which he was sure was reflected clearly in his eyes as she got closer to him. He was normally good at hiding his feelings, the perfect bland butler like figure when he needed to be, but then he had obviously never been in any situation like this before. “Yelena…” he parroted, licking his lips slightly. It was his habit to pick up on the tiniest of details and part of him was doing that now, trying to distract himself from the hear and now. Her voice had changed slightly as she spoke her name, accent slipping and a very faint frown creased on his forehead for a few seconds as he tried to place it before settling on Russian.
Deiniol felt no arousal as she sat down and crossed her legs. The fear would probably have killed any feeling anyway, but had they been in a bar – which Denny wouldn’t have been in – or some other event, Yelena would not have appealed to him. He had funnelled all of his energy into his religion, content that he would find a nice Catholic girl some day and while it may not have been the dizzying heights some people claimed, he would have been content.

He repeated her name to her and Yelena shivered visibly, catching her bottom lip between the teeth before letting it go again, "Careful with the accent, pet," She purred, "you have absolutely no idea how delicious it is..."
She saw the fear in his eyes and instantly wanted to taste it, but Yelena pulled that instinct right back in. Now wasn't the time. Feeding on him was a big 'No' for the time being. She had to be good, he was precious and he had to last. Besides it was what she didn't see that got her attention; he clearly wasn't even the least bit stimulated by her proximity, by her movements. Of course he was panic stricken, probably still in shock but none the less, she knew there was nothing of that sort in his mind. Partly she was intrigued by his character and eager to explore it, to find out what it was that did turn the Catholic Church Secretary on.
She made a mental note as she watched him, eyes hungry and head tilted to the side a little. "You've had a difficult night," she stated softly, "so I'm going to break you into things nice and gently..."

His throat, mouth and lips were dry, parched almost and without thinking about it, his tongue flicked out again, as he tried once more to wet his lips enough to keep them moist, trying to calm down as best he could. Her words had done little to fill him with confidence and somehow, Denny didn’t quite believe her when she spoke about being gentle. It made him want to run as fast as he could and as far as he could in the other direction, no matter how futile such a thought was.
Deiniol didn’t know how to answer her – he was determined to indeed be ‘careful’ with his accent, if she found it so… appealing. Instead he remained mute, watching her with a mixture of fear and wariness as she stared back, recognising the hunger he could see in her eyes, even if he wasn’t quite sure of the reasons behind it.
She’s clearly insane, isn’t that reason enough?

Yelena sniffed. Her expression twisted instantly to the default setting of discontentment and she slipped off the table with a frightening change of pace. Her languid stroll across the room, the predatory swing of her hips and mild amused excitement in her eyes were gone and she turned from Deiniol swiftly, moving back towards Thomas. "I know you're probably traumatized enough, pet," she cooed as she went, speaking to the Welshman over her shoulder, "but if I leave you down here with Tommy-boy he's going to give away all my party tricks and I can't have that."
She had moved to the back of Thomas' chair. The blonde man was looking up with tears in his eyes, a soft whimper curled out of his throat as Yelena ran her hands over his moist shoulders and down his chest, leaning forwards. Her eyes found Deiniol across the room, "If you don't play nicely with me, answer my questions, do as I say when I say it," she began, tone serious and flat, "I will make you wish you'd never been born, and I don't mean that in a movie cliché way. I mean you will be wishing you'd never emerged from your dear Mother's womb. Wish you'd never been conceived. That... is the level of pain I have the ability to inflict."
She paused, "Understand?"

It hadn’t taken Deiniol long to decide he didn’t like the nickname pet when used in conjunction with him and her accent. There was something about the way she said it that send shivers of fear down his spine. The rest of her words filtered through his brain slowly, the events of the night starting to take a toll on the young Welshman as if a thick fog from the Brecon beacons near where he grew up was rolling down into his brain and making it impossible to see or think clearly.
He nodded slowly, the movement causing the bite marks in his neck to sting slightly. “I understand,” Deiniol added carefully, not wanting to anger her if she decided a head nod was not answer enough. He didn’t know where the boundaries were, what was acceptable and what wasn’t and this unsettled him. As did her comment about Thomas, the words having taken that long to sink in.

She smiled coldly, "Good," her voice curled the word, twisted it on her breath as her hands slipped across the clammy skin of her blonde captive. She was bored with him now. She had something better to play with and she was damn well going to get all the fun out of him that she could. If left down here with Thomas, some of her most exciting techniques would be given away and she wanted to experience them with renewed vigour through the Welshman, through his shock. She ranher hands through Thomas' hair and down the back of his skulls, over his ears, down to the skin of his neck and shoulders.
"Say goodnight." She commanded, fingers pressing down just a tad.
Thomas looked up at Deiniol, a slew of sticky, tears like red food dye slipped out of his remaining good eye as he fought for focus. His lips trembled as he breathed the words his 'owner' had demanded of him, "Goodnight..."
Yelena snapped his neck.
Her movements had been fierce and death immediate. She released his head and it fell forwards, loose and flaccid with the disjointed vertebrae warping the skin of the neck at the break. The vampire stood over him, one hand on her waist, the other coming up to her face where she inhaled air across her fingertips, sucking in the scent of fear that clung to them in the sweat and smeared blood. She gave a little moan of pleasure and ran her tongue up her index finger, her eyes sought Deiniol during the process and she smiled wickedly.

“Duw!” He flinched violently as Yelena snapped the man’s neck, the curse word slipping out on reflect. Deiniol felt sick as Thomas’s head fell forward, sloppy and floppy as if he was a broken toy the vampire was no longer interested in. A stream of Welsh words poured out of Denny’s lips as he stared at the body in a mixture of horror and fascination, apparently unaware of Yelena’s gaze on him. The words were a jumble, partly a prayer for the dead man’s soul, partly a prayer for himself and partly pleading to the world at large that he didn’t want to die like that, he didn’t want to die, he was too young to die, too young to be experiencing this, to be here. He wanted his mother. He hadn’t done anything.
His eyes were wide and full of tears as he bit down on his lip, forcibly restraining himself from saying anything else as he came back to reality and realised what he was doing. If she ‘liked’ his accent when he was speaking English, then Denny dreaded to think what she would do with him speaking Welsh.
But he behaved. he wanted to say. He did everything you wanted and you killed him anyway…
Denny breathed deeply, fighting the urge to vomit at the smells in the room and at the sickening knowledge that this was the second body he had seen tonight and both had been killed by the same woman who apparently had a similar fate in mind for him.

Yelena bit her own finger quite accidentally at the Welsh words tumbling from Deiniol's mouth and gasped at the red liquid that smeared coldly against her lower lip. Her tongue flicked out and lapped the liquid up, her finger disappearing into her mouth as she sucked her own cold blood back into her body. She watched him, moving towards him with Thomas completely forgotten. His accent in English was one thing, but hearing him speak Welsh? It was almost too much for her nervous system. If she had been a hundred years younger or more she would have been quite weak at the knees.
She turned slightly when she reached him and sat lightly in his lap, her free arm moving around his shoulders to secure herself. She drew her finger out of her mouth slowly and kissed the tip of it, cold lips pressing on the cold damp pad. "See what you went and did there?" she sighed, "Now. I'm going to leave you down here with Tommy-boy for the time being. Let you get a good look at what happens when I don't get my way... but, baby, I think you're smarter than he was. I think you'll play along nicely." She was smiling as she brushed her finger over his lips, eyes flickering over her face before settling on his eyes.

The announcement that she was planning to leave him down here with a dead body was almost enough to distract Denny from the fact that she was sitting on his lap. For a mad moment he considered begging her not to, but he quickly squashed that idea, reasoning to himself that it wouldn’t do any good. Any further thoughts were cut off as she trailed a damp finger against his lips, her eyes on his face.
It took everything Denny had in him not to whimper or flinch away from her in fear as the finger moved against his lips. Again the urge to vomit rose up in him, every fibre in Deiniol’s body disgusted by the murderess closeness to him. But he really didn’t want to die and he didn’t want to anger her.
Denny didn’t want to encourage her to hurt him and he supposed that was her idea of him being smart. The fact that he was afraid of pain, something which could probably be seen in his tear filled eyes as he slowly lifted them to look at her.

Silently, Yelena rose from her seated position in his lap, watching him the entire time. She stepped back and gave a dramatic sigh of useless air, hands on her hips. "Try and sleep, baby," she said, smirking; if sleep came to the Welshman at all she would be greatly surprised, especially with what she was planning on doing next.
Without another word she turned on the balls of her feet and crossed the basement, back towards the door. She didn't give Deiniol a second glace, she didn't give the corpse of Thomas a second glance, she simply left him tied to his chair, leaning forwards and dripping residual sweat and blood and tears onto the floor. One night spent with a dead body in the basement of a 'mad woman's' home would surely be enough to make an impression upon the young man's mind. Yelena always got what she wanted, one way or another.

Time-Skip
Sleep had not come to Deiniol, not fully. He had dozed fitfully for no more than 30 minutes at a time. The events of the previous night had taken a toll on him and even though he hadn’t wanted to sleep – he couldn’t see her coming while he slept and there was the fear that he would wake up somewhere even more bizarre and frightening than a basement with a dead body – but his body had been so tired, the adrenaline rush fading away and leaving him spent.
Whenever he was awake however, Denny couldn’t take his eyes off the corpse of Thomas. He had watched as the blood and sweat had slowly dripped off him and dried on the surface of the floor. Even though the Welshman had seen Yelena snap his neck, he half expected Thomas to suddenly look up, a monster like her.
Denny didn’t know how many hours had passed with him alone, chained to a chair. His body felt stiff and uncomfortable as he shifted as much as the chains would allow, trying to find even the smallest degree of comfort and silver lining in this. To keep himself from going insane, he chanted a litany to the dead in his head as he sat there, offering his spiritual comfort to the dead man as best he could. His religion was the only way he could think of to distract himself from the fact that sooner or later, Yelena was going to walk down those stairs again and then… and then… well, he didn’t know what would happen, had no way to comprehend her mind but he knew it would be terrible.

The first order of business, after her sleep, had been to feed Miron. If someone who had been unaware of the events of the previous night Yelena would have looked just like a normal woman; her hair was down around her shoulders and she wore a silken robe, pulled in at her wait with a draw string. She flicked the radio on when she entered the kitchen, he pulled the makings of a salad out of the refrigerator along with some meat and began chopping and mashing quite happily. Humming even. She cleaned and refilled her Doberman's water bow, the animal sitting patiently at his mistress' feet as she went about taking care of his dietary needs. He gave a soft growl as cold fingers scratched through the short fur between his ears and she set his breakfast down.
She showered. She dressed. Then the normalcy ended.
A tight green, velvet dress in nineteen-twenties inspired folds and sashes, with a tight bodice and off the shoulder 'straps' was finished with matching shoes. She left her hair down, brushed through its waves and admired herself in the mirror before her expression became dark and she head for the door.
The vampire went straight down towards her basement, clean refreshed, hidden from daylight by curtains and shutters in her journey. She stopped in the kitchen only to fill a bowl with warm water, coo a few soft words to her Miron as he ate the food she had prepared and snatch up a cloth before she turned and headed for the basement. Today was going to be exciting. She had a lot planned for her Welshman and she was intending on getting a good start.
