Seeing that Devon had dropped himself unceremoniously into a chair opposite herself and Sissy, Cassidy pulled a face... even if there was a hint of sarcastic amusement in her expression. For all the crap she gave him, she liked Devon; he made her laugh. Sometimes not in the best ways - for his own self-esteem, that was - but a laugh was a laugh.
"Not all of them," she replied, calm-as-you-please, taking a few out of the little bag they were in, and regarding them as if they were the appetising things she had ever seen in her life. And then she pitched them at Devon across the table with a cheeky grin. "I was planning to do that with those ones, of course, but you kinda ruined the surprise..."
He asked for it... kinda... okay maybe not, but that was too good to pass up.

Seeing the look, Dia smiled at Cole, giving a brief laugh before getting up as well. They could read each other’s expression pretty much infallibly well by this point in time and simple gave one in return: ‘of course.’ Naturally, she would be following. Particularly seeing as how it had been her idea to head upstairs in the first place.

The chatter and laughter of the other pack members around him barely caused him to blink as his eyes perused the headlines and odd detail of stories here and there in the daily newspaper they had delivered to The Hyperion. He sat, quite peacefully, at one end of the table, turning the page and browsing through the articles as if he might find something interesting, when in truth, he already knew he wouldn’t.
Kyle Langford glanced up briefly as fries went soaring over the table’s length, thrown by Cassidy, and aimed right at Devon’s head or chest, depending on the angle. He allowed himself the faintest of smiles, and glanced to the other young female on his side of the table. She was quiet, staying out of the ‘bickering’ between the male and the redhead, and sitting back in his chair a little, he then leaned to the side, saying to get her attention, “I’d say they’ll get over it eventually, but I’m rather against lying.” Whether or not Sissy would realise he was talking to her would have to be seen.

Devon laughed as he was pelted with the deep-fried potatoes, managing to catch two or three in his mouth and devour them along with the rest of his burger. This was the norm for Cassidy and Devon; one dished it out and the other took it with a smile. Most of the time, anyway.
"'Fank'oo, Cassie," he said sweetly, mouth slightly full if only to gross her out. However, he refrained from pulling a 'lookie' - he did have some amount of maturity.

Ew.
That reaction was kept completely internal however, as she simply offered him a ‘sweet-as-sugar’ smile in response to his thanks. “Pleasure,” she said to him in a perfectly natural tone, munching on a few of the fries for herself. Now that the Alphas and Betas had left the room, the atmosphere was somewhat more relaxed, and less respectful; not that every werewolf in this room didn’t hold a lot of respect for one another in one form or another, but it was different when the leaders were present, and they all knew it.

Sissy smiled slightly at Kyle's comment and shrugged. It was well known that Devon and Cassidy enjoyed tormenting each other, but it usually made for some good entertainment.
"I actually think it would be a bit boring if they were to get over it," she told Kyle. "Watching them can be amusing sometimes."
She turned back to her burger and finished it off. Deciding that she didn't want her fries, she pushed them away from her, an open invitation for anyone that wanted them to help themselves. As she did that, she caught a glimpse of Devon talking with his mouth full and wrinkled her nose as she swallowed.
Disgusting.
After that thought, she considered going back to her room. She still needed to tidy up after her little snack, but decided quickly that it could wait a few more minutes. It would, after all, still be there no matter how long it took her to get around to cleaning it up.

Smirking, Devon swallowed the remainder of his food and then - still feeling a bit hungry - made for Sissy's fries with a mock-sly glance to the older werewolf. Her eye-roll made him grin outright before he snatched up the baggie and began chomping away. He liked Sissy; she was friendly and gentle, and on the rare occasions when he was feeling down, she knew how to pick him right back up.
"See?" He finished chewing and swallowing before he spoke this time, teasing Cassidy once more, "Sissy doesn't have to be abusive." To punctuate his statement he granted Cassie a brief raspberry.

“Hey,” Cassidy argued with a smirk, “I gave you the fries. Just not all of them.” She shrugged. “I’d hardly call that abusive, and besides, you caught some of them… and it’s not like they’d hurt.” The raspberry was returned in a swift, not-very-mature fashion as she pulled more of her fries from the bag, and started eating them, suddenly craving a soda like crazy.
Knew we’d forgotten something, she mused pointlessly. There were plenty of sodas in the refrigerator in the kitchen, and if she wanted one so badly, then she could go and get one… but that required effort, and she wasn’t feeling much in the way of energetic at that moment.

Sissy pushed herself away from the table and stood, stretching as she did so. Having now had a bit of lunch, she was becoming restless. Of course, she thought, that could have something to do with the full moon coming up. That always seems to happen. She shrugged it off mentally as she glanced around.
"Well, I do believe I shall be heading off again. Sorry to eat and run, but I've spent the morning reading. I'm in the mood to move around a little now. I'll talk to everyone later."
She moved away from her chair, pushing it under the table before starting towards the door, having officially decided that cleaning up could wait for a bit. She wasn't quite sure where she was going yet, but it certainly wasn't to her room.

Continued from The Hallway with Heidi
As she and Heidi entered the dining room, she glanced around and saw that it looked as if everyone was exactly where they had been when she had left. They all seemed to be relaxed and enjoying themselves. "Hey, guy, Heidi and I are putting a group together to play some charades. Anybody want to join in?"

When Sissy had left, Cassidy had turned to Devon in a 'now look what you did' manner, but had chosen not to say anything, instead having to swat his hand away when he consistently grabbed for her slowly disappearing fries. She threw a couple more at him now and again, but every time she did, he foiled her, and caught them.
Spoilsport.
And then Sissy and Heidi came back upon the scene, and the sight of the Beta Female made her drop the handful of fries she had been planning to launch as if they were toxic to the touch, offering a sweet smile.
"Oh, hey, charades. Devon would love to make an idiot of himself in front of the pack." She looked to the tousled male. "Right, Dev'?" Cassidy grinned.

Devon merely threw a sweet smile in Cassidy's direction as he scratched his nose with the middle-finger of his right hand. The gesture didn't go unnoticed and the red-headed female sent him a glare that would have melted carbon steel. Being used to that look by now, Devon just smirked.
"Sounds like fun." He practically bounced up, clapping his hands together once as he did. "Let's get this party started!"

Oh he is gonna pay for that.
"You are such a brat," she muttered, knowing Devon would hear her, and only offering him a cute smile when he looked in her direction. "I didn't say anything," she said to him, shrugging for everyone to see. "What're we waiting for?" she continued, smiling at Sissy. "Who doesn't love charades?"
Cassidy didn't particularly, but she knew better than to be a spoilsport.

"Great," said Heidi, smiling slightly. "But I have to warn you all....I don't think I've ever actually played charades in my life. I know how to play -- well, more or less -- but I don't recall ever having done so. So I'm probably going to be really lousy. And I'm not at all sure how to start...do we split into teams, or what?"

Sissy couldn't help grinning at the reactions. She turned to Heidi. "You don't necessarily have to have teams for the game. I've heard of it being played with and without them. We can figure that out once we see how many people are interested in playing. If all else fails, we can draw straws or something to determine who goes first and then whoever guesses correctly first- or just seems to need a turn- can go next. And I'm sure you will do fine. I've actually played once or twice and I never fail to end up laughing like an idiot because I feel so ridiculous."
