Farryn sauntered into the Kitchen and made her way to the percolator. It was on already which was a good thing, it meant she wouldn't be kept waiting for her coffee and the Alpha went about the benign task of getting a mug down from a cupboard, then the milk and sugar. She set them all out on the counter, her hips rocking forwards as she rested her front against the cabinet and her scuffed boots taking it in turns to kick lightly against the floor.
She had a mild plan in her mind. She'd have coffee, maybe something to eat and then see if she couldn't get some training done. She poured the coffee out of the pot and into the mug and went on to add sugar first, stirring the liquid with a blank expression. Her plans depended entirely on her mood and if anything ticked her off enough to make her snap. She was restless, so it never exactly took much around the three nights of the moon, even she knew it. Farryn just didn't care.

In a sleepy, nearly zombielike manner (omg...zombie!Ryan...run) he padded into the kitchen. Focusing mainly on his goal. The fridge. Oh...what a beautiful thing the fridge was. He could nearly smell all the food coming from it. His stomach rumbled with antipation of getting his skilled paws onto something even slightly edible. He wasn't allowed to have coffee...he got slightly insane when he had coffee. So...a soda to go with his breakfast sounded just about right now.
His wolf lowered its head respectively when it noticed its other alpha in the kitchen. The bushy haired young wolf lowering his head again, this time out of fear and respect. He'd seen what she was capable of when she used Lucy. Which even though he found just plain out mean. But also his wolf took a sick streak of pleasure from it. Ryan quickly tried to put that side of his wolf in place. Now he wanted food. His presence, he thought, would clue in the alpha female to the fact the young ones had gotten out. He just hoped he didn't do anything stupid by beelining straight to the fridge instead of going out of his way to wish her a good morning or anything. He didn't quite like pain.

She didn't need to look up form hr mug to know who had come in from the basement; Ryan. Farryn knew she terrified him, she kind of revelled in it, knowing that behind her dark smiles there was a violent streak a mile wide and while she wasn't in the business inflicting torment on anyone other than a particular blonde wolf, it was still there, always there, beneath the surface. She was able to show restraint, she was petty damn good at it in her mind, actually. That was why she had to have an outlet.
Sipping her coffee, the brunette turned around after a moment all the same; "Good morning, Ryan." She said slowly.

And thank goodness for small miracles. Ryan wasn't one for getting hurt. He hated to see Lucy get hurt. But...he hated to see himself get hurt more. The young wolf's head popped out from the fridge offering a grin of sorts. When she addressed someone...you spoke. No question there. "Good morning, Farryn." His voice was meeker then usual. What was usually full of energy, when around his pack mates, withdrew.
He went back to rummaging before finding what he was searching for; jelly. He snagged a loaf of bread and peanut butter and started going to work. It wasn't like his usual eggs, bacon, etc. He was tired. So peanut butter and jelly sandwiches would make due for right now.

The mug hid her sly smile; poor little mite was petrified. It was evident in his lacklustre response, despite the hearty smile, and body language. He went about making 'breakfast' in the form of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and Farryn leant the small of her back against the counter behind her as she watched him casually. There was no intensity in her gaze, she was in a lull that wasn't exactly boredom -luckily she hadn't got to that stage yet- and not exactly curiosity.
"How was the night?" she asked slowly, referring of course to the change, the uncontrollable pull the moon still held over Ryan an the young ones like him.

Lucian didn't enter right away, preferring to watch his mate interact with the obviously terrified Ryan. He smirked, inwardly and his wolf almost chuckled; it was rather amusing to watch the younger wolves cower around her. The Alpha male didn't really release his anger in the way Farryn did, or at least, not as frequently. Nothing had really raised his ire, lately.
"Ryan," he greeted the younger wolf when he finally stepped into the kitchen, moving to kiss his mate briefly before fixing himself a cup of coffee. His stomach rumbled, quietly, and he considered making a full breakfast. Alas, that would require effort...but, if his mate wanted something, as well.
"You hungry, 'Ryn?"

"The night...was...painful." That's all he remembered to be quite frankly. His wolf held much more power over him then he would care to admit. His shoulder felt untimely bruised from his wolf's raging the night before. He lowered his head even more when Lucian came in. Why him? Why were they all gravitating to the damn kitchen?
His wolf paced anxiously in the back of his mind. Maybe...if he was quiet enough. The both of them would forget he was even there. Then he could get his peanut butter and jelly and possibly a drink and go to the courtyard for a nap.

Briefly Farryn broke the gaze that had settled on Ryan to kiss and follow Lucian with her eyes. She was thoughtful for a moment, cradling her coffee in one hand as he went about making himself a cup. "Not hugely," she said after a moment, "I think I'll just have bacon." Though there was something stereotypical about werewolves craving meat 'Ryn either didn't notice or care. The only meat she didn't like was in the form of hamburgers, they were gross and synthetic tasting. Bacon was in a class of its own.
She looked back to Ryan as he answered, obviously much more nervous with both of the Alphas in the room with him. A smile twitched at the corners of her mouth but she managed to rein it in, "Well. Only one more night to go..." she responded, as if musing allowed rather than actually speaking to him.

"Don't speak of the Change like that, Clerec," the Alpha growled lowly. "The pain is never going to go away. Might as well get used to it now."
Farryn was granted another light kiss, a peck on the cheek, before the Alpha went about retrieving pots, pans, and various breakfast foods. He went back to observing his mate and the nervous Ryan. Farryn's power over the pack had always fascinated him. Even when she had been Beta, her prescence had been undeniable. And now? She was unstoppable.

Lucian spoke to Ryan and Farryn watched the younger wolf, silently agreeing. They were always a united front, the Alpha female saw it as her duty to provide constant support whether it was silent or not and it was always obvious in her expression that she agreed with her mate.
She leant back casually against the counter top after the peck to her cheek, wearing a slow fading smile as her dark eyes fixed back on Ryan over the rim of her mug. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't aware that she scared many of the young pack members witless, it wasn't because she hurt them or even acted like she might, either. Pathetic though she was Lulu made an effective example and 'Ryn simply kept quiet, smiled darkly and let them think what they wanted.
She could be intimidating enough without words, but then again she put a good deal of faith in Lucian's ability to do the same.

Ryan nodded, lowering his head out of instinct. Even though from what he heard, as he got older the Change would hurt less and less. Or...he would have just gotten used to it. Either way. He was stuck in the here and now. He wondered if he could pull a Hiro from Heroes and make time go into the future. Then he could see badass version of himself when he was well into his five hundreds. (Since that's how long he planned to live)
He finished making the fourth peanut butter and jelly sandwich before giving both his alphas brief, acknowledging nods. His nose catching the scent of his "good friend" terrorizing Tyler and Lucy. His eyes gave a hopeful hint of his rousing wolf's mischeviousness as he started for the others.

Her eyes followed Ryan on his way out of the kitchen and only after he was gone did she allow herself a smile and a sigh and her eyes returned to Lucian once more, watching him with that same slow forming smile. "I'm impressed he managed to finish making his sandwiches," she said, "I must be losing my touch."
She was joking, of course, 'Ryn was more than confident that she wasn't losing her touch in any way shape or form.

"You, love?" he inquired with a raised brow, head canted to one side. He offered her a sly smile. "Losing your touch? That'll be the day. Maybe Clerec's just finally building his backbone."
A fresh plate of bacon was handed over to his mate, but not before Lucian caught her around the waist and pulled her in for a kiss. Most wolves, he knew, enjoyed physical contact in one form or another, but Lucian would only ever tolerate his 'Ryn. He kept her pressed in close to him, smirking against her mouth before she received a light nip to her lower lip.
"You've got such a way with the 'pups'," the Alpha chuckled.

When it came to physical contact 'Ryn was never happier then when she was entwined in one way or another with her mate. She'd actually never been a touchy feely person as a child, not unless 'play fighting' counted, but nowadays she enjoyed the sensation of being close to Lucian in any way. She growled low into his kiss and the nip on her bottom lip and grinned up at him as he spoke,
"What can I say? I'm the nurturing type," she smirked slightly as she balanced the plate of bacon he had made for her in one hand.

Lucian's laugh was low and growling while he let one hand rub possessively over the small of Farryn's back "You're a strong one, 'Ryn," he murmured. His lips brushed her forehead, cheek, lips and neck, and he breathed in slowly to bring her scent into his lungs. "They don't need someone who'll coddle 'em left and right; you know what you're doing."
He gave a lopsided smirk against her throat. "You're not afraid to lead like she was."
