"It must be a good feeling, to be surrounded by people that you're like. I'm very grateful to you for not only giving me my freedom, but for granting me a place to be free." Mara felt something very strange - it was as if the wolf inside her was excited, curious - rather than the usual overpowering feeling. She allowed it to be for just a moment, and then returned her attention to Cole - he'd stopped infront of a room and handed her a key.
Her stomach fluttered - here's where I'm going to call home.

Kyle had taken the liberty of grabbing a key to an empty room when they'd crossed through the lobby, and Cole had had it in his pocket the whole time; he just hadn't made it obvious that he'd done so.
"They're nothing amazing. A bed, with some furniture; a closet, and a bathroom. The plumbing for this place is insane; you should see the building's blueprints." He grinned, and stepped aside so she could be the one to unlock the door and not him, given that he'd handed the key over.

Alone in the hallway, Molly shoved her hands idly into the pockets of her hoodie and shuffled along with no real purpose. She could go practice in the training room...but that would require motivation that she didn't have at the moment. And working on her new piece was out of the question; once her muse decided to clam up, there was no convincing it to do otherwise.
Maybe I'll go bother Brods... Her 'favorite wolf.' Molly smirked to herself and turned in the direction of her friend's room; perhaps he could 'motivate' her into some target practice. Lord knows she needed it...

Mara walked slowly up the passageway, taking one turn and looking around. The light she'd seen earlier came from a section of rooms that had what looked like office furnishings, when she looked inside one open door. A staircase at the end lead down -- the dark room Cole mentioned, that might be that way. She paused at one end - there was one more area and she heard typing. Slipping up, she leaned forward so she could see - her wolf sense feeling excited. "Hello?"

Heading away from the kitchen, Jeremy made his was back towards the Records Room, half of a sandwich in hand. And really, that half was about a whole sandwich by regular standards. Mmm, it could stay wrapped up in its paper towel until sometime late into the night when Jeremy or rather his stomach, reminded him he was hungry and it had most likely been several hours since he’d been out into some other part of the hotel. If it weren’t for the fact that his actual room happened to be elsewhere and he had to venture out for food, Jeremy might very well spend all his time there. And of course, he did try to roam about and interact with the pack sometimes.
And what had he been doing before he left? Oh that’s right- DOOM. I’m gonna sing the Doom song. Doom doom doomy doom doom doom doom… There was no set tune or melody and while Jeremy was in fact not singing out loud, he was still humming along with the words in his head.

Molly hummed tunelessly to herself, idle and rather scattered melodies flitting their way through her mind until she approached Brody’s door and heard the guitar which floated from the other side of the solid wood. With a grin, she raised a hand to talk, ready to tease him about murdering that poor instrument, and then decided against it. Her hand returned to her side and she leaned casually against the doorframe, picking up on the song before she began to sing along with the proper verse, just loud enough for the person on the other side of the door to hear...
The man’s sense of dress may be lacking, she thought with a smirk. But his music choice ain’t bad...[/i]

Continued from Heidi's office
Mara glanced at the paper she had in her hand - Cassidy's room was along this way, and Heidi had said the two were together in her room. I really hope I can straighten all this out. Maybe after I do this I can go looking for that training room...
She went up to the doorway she thought was correct and knocked - "Excuse me, um - Cassidy? Sissy?"

The door swung open with barely a second's warning, and he continued playing the guitar, having barely broken pace to grab and twist the handle. Thankfully, Molly hadn't been leaning against the door too much, which saved her the embarrassment of falling on her face into his room.
"Howdy," he quipped, knowing she'd get a kick out of it. Cocking his head, he asked, "Were you plannin' to knock, or was standing out here singing in the hallway all part of your master plan...?"

"Naturally," Molly returned cheekily. "Haven't you heard? It's all part of my plan to rule the world." She added an evil genius-like laugh for effect and grinned when he cracked a smile. If there was one person who had helped her adjust to pack life, it was Brody; he'd taught her the ropes, protected her on more than one occasion, and quite frankly, she adored him.
"So Brods, when was the last time you 'n' me had a jam session? And if memory serves me right, I still owe you a song..."

Finally letting up on his playing, he cocked his head and leaned casually against the doorframe, blonde hair tumbling around his face as always. "I think it's been too long," he replied. "Far too long, actually." He quirked a brow in a suggestive manner, and then nudged his door open behind him, jerking his head in a kind of silent invite.
"C'mon in... I was just trying to learn some new stuff, but I've always got time for you, Molly; you know that."

Mara knocked on the door again, feeling a tad foolish. "hello? Cassidy? Sissy?"
If there was no answer, she made up her mind to go find more of the hotel's rooms that were public - that training room, and the dark room...

Continued from Cassidy's room
Mara took a deep breath and let it out with relief. That had been a lot easier than she'd thought, and her wolf was now curious about the rest of its new territory. She looked up and down, but then decided she'd make her way along to the next set of stairs and see what was about.

Continued from The Dark Room
Mara wandered down the mostly empty hallway - camera at her hip. Following the corridor she didn't take previously, she smelled a very, very familiar scent - the smell of mats and sweat and blood - that comes of a hard workout.
With a slow grin, she opened the door infront of her and saw what had to be the training room.

Hooking her thumbs in her jean pockets, Sissy took her time moving down the hallway, wondering what everyone else had found to do to pass the rest of the day. She knew without any doubts that she had to get some work done, but that could wait for a few moments while she grabbed a can of soda from the kitchen. She wouldn't be any good if she was thinking about how thirsty she was.

Continued from: The Training Room with Mara.
Stepping out of the room, he made his way towards the steps down, swords in hand, and seemingly quite content to hold them for the entirety of the time it would take to show her the basement, and how the full moon procedure worked. “Well, I’m glad you think that way,” he said to her with a calm smile, glancing to her as she walked at his side. “Part of being in a pack is about feeling comfortable, and safe. If you don’t feel either of those things, then something’s wrong with the environment.” Hopefully that wouldn’t happen to her, or they were doing something very wrong.
Cole, however, was confident in his pack, and he knew they would do their best to make Mara feel welcome. A few of them might not necessarily go out of their way to do so, but he trusted them all not to make her feel out of the loop. Yes, she was younger than a good deal of them, but she was a wolf like the rest of them, and deserved to be treated as such.
Leading the way down the stairs, Cole glanced to Mara again, wondering if she had something on her mind that might be bothering her; obviously he was no empath like her, but sometimes, he seemed to be able to sense emotions — he knew, however, that that had more to do with a wolf’s natural ability to detect the extremes, and had nothing to do with mental ability.
