Mara felt his glance and the growing curiousity - more concern than anything, and she knew that he was probably wondering why she'd been afraid when he mentioned the training. As they made their way to the lobby area again, she quietly considered what she should... or could tell him.
As she stepped into the lobby she made her decision.

The Beta female padded through the halls, nodding approvingly as she passed some of the younger wolves heading for the elevators. She wouldn't bother to wonder where Cole, Dia or Steven were -- Cole was probably downstairs already, ushering Mara through her first confinement. She also didn't worry herself about Kyle, who was undoubtedly shadowing the Alpha as he was prone to do.
She came to Cassidy's door, and paused, sniffing.

Heidi did a few laps around the building, so to speak. She saw a few of the younger wolves head down to the basement, checked on a few of the not-quite-so-young pack members, and looked in on Dia. The confirmation of her pregnancy had elicited a great deal of excitement from both the Alpha and Beta females, though Cole still didn't know; Dia was waiting until sometime after the full moon to break the news.
She was passing the elevator for the third time when, unexpectedly, the doors opened, and she paused. The elevator was empty. She stepped forward, and sniffed; there was only a faint trace of scent, but it was definitely Cole's. He had sent the elevator up from the basement, and sending it up empty meant that something wasn't quite right. Frowning, she stepped into the lift and pressed the button for the basement level.

Despite the way she was congratulating herself on having handled the Kyle situation so well, Heidi was agitated and restless. And annoyed, without really having a reason to be. She had climbed the stairs, rather than take the elevator, and was now systematically prowling each floor of the Hyperion, eyes and ears and nose alert for anything which might require her attention.
What really bothered her, most of all, was the stillness.

(After the timeskip -- the following morning)
Heidi blinked, and stretched, slightly bewildered. She'd sat down for a few minutes, having grown bored with effectively doing laps around the hotel, and had apparently dozed off. Mildly annoyed -- though nothing compared to her agitation of the night before -- she stood up, rubbing her eyes, and stumbled to her room to change clothes.
One night down, two to go.
Once dressed and more or less groomed, she headed downstairs in search of something to quiet her growling stomach.

Mara moved slowly up the hallway, her mind wandering. It had been a hell of a night, and she certainly hadn't expected the morning to go as it had. Her headache had vanished with the food, and her temple felt better still. She hazarded a guess that it would be closed by tonight. Glancing into the TV lounge, she waved slightly at Molly, not sure if she'd seen her, and continued down the hall.
She went down to the lower area - near what she knew to be the records room and haunt of the wolf called Jeremy - and opened the room to the dark room with her key that Cole had let her have.

It was a bit hard not to notice the lingering smell of a breakfast that involved actual cooked food. But by now the scent was fading sufficiently for it to be assumed that the opportunity had been missed. Ah well. Sugar was much better than real food any day! Not that Jeremy needed any more sugar than usual, but he was more than content with his Froot Loops.
After passing the Dark Room Jeremy actually stopped and backpedaled until he was standing in front of the door again, considering the red light that meant someone was using the room with a tilted head. Now who could be in there? No one really used the room anymore, save for him at times when he felt a bit like doing things the old fashioned way for the fun of it. Everything he kept for the archives was digital, and backed up to boot, but there were times he simply did like the process of developing actual pictures. Perhaps it was a reminder of Damien, as he had been the one to teach him the process. And oh look, the door wasn't locked…

Mara made her way through the hotel, bypassing the lobby. She could tell there was a new person there with Cole, but she was didn't want to intrude. There were several new smells and feelings around the place - she decided to try the library first. If she could find Heidi, Mara wanted to talk about the night's events perhaps - or to at least make certain that Dia held her in no bad light - and if anyone knew, it'd be Heidi.
She got to the library door and heard voices. Sissy and Heidi.

She moved down the hallway, walking quickly - the door to the Dark room was open - she assumed that Jeremy had left it open - she kept walking straight in.

"You're a rare thing - a gentleman these days is hard to come by. Especially ones with a nice face and a brain to match." She looked down the hallway and said, "I'd never glare. It sounds to me like your mother did a good job."
"We could head to ... um.. " She shrugged. "Well, there's always my room. We're guarenteed conversation and no dim lighting? And I just bought myself two chairs, so there's sitting space and I have some juices in my little fridge?" She felt a bit nervous offering, but she thought that she dearly wanted to continue chatting to this man.

Mara lead the way down the hallway, going up the stairs that lead to the halls where the packs individual rooms were. She opened her door with a flourish, the small fridge and two large chairs visible from the door. "After you, mate - make yourself at home."

Moving away from the kitchen, Dia headed towards the library, having picked up on the scent of a certain female Beta she'd like to have a chat with. It certainly could prove to be interesting, if breakfast had been any indicator..

To answer Steven's question: Becaue it was funny, that's why. And because this was Jeremy they were dealing with here. At times, he had the mentality of a ten year old at their first sleep away summer camp. If that mature.
Jeremy actually skidded a bit coming out of the kitchen, almost sliding past the hallway, but some how managed to stop himself and pick up speed again, knowing he needed to get a move on. Where exactly was he headed? Away from Steven was the only destination in mind at this point. This was probably gonna play out like a chase scene from Scooby Doo…

Shifting in her light, baggy beige sweater, she opened her door, and headed out. She hadn’t been moving for more than two minutes before Jeremy skidded into view, making her start slightly. He had appeared so abruptly that her sense of smell hadn’t kicked in, and the pack historian moved with such natural stealth and speed that she hadn’t heard him coming.
Seeing the slightly giddy expression on his face, mixed curiously with the ‘must flee!’ look in his eye, Tina blinked, and decided it was probably best to just… stick to the wall. So she stepped aside, giving the short male enough room to zip right past, if that was his intention.
What the…? Maybe it was best if she didn’t ask.

Ash followed Steven before sliding to a stop near Tina. He would just stay a nice distance away from the two...just in case he needed to make a quick exit. "Morning, Tina." Ash said with an acknowledging smile, wondering if Jeremy would run a little more.
The brown eyed wolf had a melancholy glow in his eyes. But it was inherited after his mate had died. He never was so...quiet before. The brunette used to smile a lot more.
