It was only after William managed to shuffle his way back to the hidey-hole that was his bedroom that he realized just how tired he was. Upon laying his eyes on his bed, it became exceedingly difficult to convince his legs to move him forward as he stripped off his shirt and boots.
With a distinct lack of grace, the Scottish fighter fell forward onto the mattress and just managed to pull a pillow under his head before sleep fairly yanked him under.

The scent slowly wafted up to him, tantalizing. In his sleep, the Scots fighter wrinkled his nose and sniffed, unconsiously taking in the rich smell; surprisingly, it didn't stir him right away. And then, the rest of his mind caught up.
Chocolate.
Then he was up, bleary-eyed, but oddly awake. His stomach gave an impressive growl despite having been filled not to long ago. Nevertheless, Will felt positively famished as he shuffled from bed and pulled on a fresh shirt before making his way down to see what sort of glorious confection was being concocted.

Continued from Hallways with Will
Heidi had been both hoping...and not hoping...that he would tell her to wait outside. But the hospitable Scotsman willingly ushered her in, and she stood inside the room feeling anxious indeed.
Dammit...it's coming fast....minutes, if that....I should go, feign sick, something. But she didn't move, and midnight was seconds away. Will seemed oblivious to the situation, rummaging in his closet for something clean to wear.
"Will..." Heidi put a hand to her face; goodness, she felt warm. Could they open a window or something? "Will, I...." She closed her eyes as the alarm clock by his bed flashed 12:00.

"Huh?"
Will peered around the door of his wardrobe, but when he noticed how distressed Heidi looked, he dropped the shirt he'd been holding. "Heid?" he asked, striding to her. "Heidi, what is it? Are you all right?"

Don't touch me...if you touch me I'm lost...
The wolf was awake in her head, and pawing frantically at the surface. The transformation was actually forcing itself on Heidi, slightly; her hair, normally so tidy, was becoming more feral, and the eyes with which she now regarded Will were bright and golden.
Will, unfortunately, could not hear the internal pleading, and put a hand on her shoulder, clearly concerned. She was gone; she couldn't even formulate an apology for her behavior before she threw herself at him, kissing him hard.

...Guh.
Heidi was kissing him. Why?! No, he knew why. It was the full moon. It did stuff like this; it wasn't like she actually wanted him or anything, which was why he should pull away and try to calm her but dear god she was threading her fingers through his hair. Whatever coherency Will had flew out the window and he found himself returning Heidi's kiss, growling low in his throat.
Screw self-control...

Heidi heard the growl and returned it with one of her own. It had been so long and he obviously didn't object and why in the world should she not, just this once, forget about her precious self-control and just give in to what she really wanted?
After a minute, though, midnight had passed, and some semblance of Heidi's coherent, rational mind came back. She pulled back, her lungs pleading for air, her face on fire. "Oh...oh, Will...I'm sorry...I shouldn't have...I just really...."
She looked at him. He looked at her. And suddenly she smiled.
"Maybe this has less to do with the moon than I thought," she remarked, and kissed him again.

Will took the kiss gladly and let his hands come to rest on the blonde female's waist, carefully tugging her closer. He tasted her with the kiss and just about sighed with delight; this was almost too good to be true, honestly. But then Will really got to thinking...
"Heidi," he murmured, pulling away just slightly. "I have to tell you, I...I do care about you. A lot. I have for awhile now."

"Yes...it was hinted to me as much after breakfast this morning," she replied. "I'm...I'm sorry I never...realized it. You're such a gentleman...it was easy for me to just assume you were being polite and friendly. I never knew there was more."
Her eyes were still golden. "I....I'll go, if you...don't want to rush this. I care for you too; I wouldn't hurt you for anything."

"I..." I want you to stay. I really, really, really want you to stay.
Will sighed and chuckled, running a hand through his already messy hair. "I think it would be best if we don't rush into this. I can hardly control myself around you..."

Heidi chuckled, her fair skin glowing pink. "You're not alone there, William...you're most definitely not alone. I'm normally all about control, and now? I can't remember a time when I wanted to lose it more." She took a breath, and pulled away from him a little. More than that she almost couldn't do; just to budge herself those few inches was alarmingly difficult.
"I...I'll just...." He wants you to go. So go. Quit it already.

"Wait."
Carefully, he pulled her back to him. One hand cupped her cheek lightly and then he bowed head to hers. The kiss wasn't as rough as the previous one, but there was still plenty of heat behind it. Will had to take a few deep breaths when they separated before he could speak.
"Can I come find you in the morning?"

Do I have to go? The wolf used no words, of course, but the look in its eyes as it sat perfectly still in Heidi's mind was unmistakable. She wanted to stay, stay here with the other wolf who made her feel content for the first time in an age.
Heidi had a hard time arguing with the wolf on this occasion. The kiss had seared her lips, but the question which followed, and the soft way in which it had been asked, melted her heart.
"Yes...of course." She put a hand to his cheek as well.

Her touch sent a pleasant shiver through him and his wolf gave an impatient growl; he wanted her. And Will was having one hell of a time trying to reason with the creature. This was not something he wanted to just rush into. Call him old-fashioned, but he needed to do this properly; dinner, chocolates, flowers. The whole deal. He would go about this the right way.
"Goodnight...my Sweet Heidi," he whispered.

Well, now, Heidi was pretty nearly at the swooning point. An ancient reflex had twitched at his use of the possessive pronoun, but it was a fleeting sensation. She could very well be Will's...but it would be as much her choice as his. Not like...last time. And the more she thought about it, the more she -- and her wolf -- liked the idea.
"Goodnight, Will...." Try as she might, she couldn't stop herself from leaning forward to give him one more kiss -- a proper kiss, she told herself, not like when she'd practically mauled him before. Pulling back, however, was more difficult.
