"Aww, Molls, I didn't mean it," he said to her gently with a smile, rocking to the side a little to give her a little nudge, leaning his head over a little to meet her gaze as she 'sulked'. He knew she was playing him for all the playful barb was worth, but he didn't want to be a complete spoilsport, did he?
He gave her his best 'puppy-dog' apologetic look, and waited.

...Damn. Suckered again.
"I hate you," she growled, turning almost immediately after receiving that damned puppy-face. Defeated, she leaned fully against the blonde male once more as she continued to gripe, "You know very well I can't resist that bloomin' look."

And that was exactly why Brody had used it, to its full power. He smiled, but not too triumphantly. He hadn't wanted anyone in the room to take her pout seriously, and think that Brody had genuinely upset her, because he was actually a little worried about getting something of a negative reputation. Granted, the likelihood of that was rather remote, but it didn't hurt to be on the cautious side.
"You don't hate me," he contradicted smoothly as she leaned against him again.

...He had a point, which only frustrated Molly that much more. With another good-natured growl, she gave Brody a light elbow to the gut; she knew very well that she could never hate 'her Cowboy.' Atleast, not while he could still give her that damnable look.
"No, I don't hate you...I just hate when you're right."

He mimed an 'ow' as she elbowed him, giving her one of his smiles afterwards as he chuckled quietly to himself, and shrugged at her contradiction.
"Well, I won't lie and say I'm right all the time, at least," he assured her, as the others threw more silly guesses at the Beta pair miming in front of the pack members gathered. "But I do like being right," he added, grinning a little, "I won't lie about that."

"Yeah," Molly agreed with a slight snort of laughter. "I am well aware of that fact, Brods."
Turning her head, she flashed him a wide and cheeky grin and then returned her gaze to the Beta couple at the front of the room. Heidi looked about ready to kill most of the younger wolves in the room as they all spouted out immature and completely out-there guesses. Molly, for her part, atleast tried to incorporate their pose into her own slightly moronic guess.
"Uhh...Count Chocula?" At the few stares she got, the young werewolf gave a shrug and a smirk that clearly said, 'I couldn't resist.'

Sissy had been watching wide-eyed as Steven acted out his piece. She had an extremely strong feeling that 'Count Chocula' was close in a way. Vampire, she thought, but she didn't say it out loud. She still wasn't entirely sure that she wanted to get up in front of everyone, especially since she had no idea as to what she could act out. Instead, she remained silent, an eyebrow raised, wondering who was going to end up being the one who made the guess.

Cole, like Sissy, knew exactly what Steven was miming, but had no intention of speaking it aloud. He glanced to the wolves gathered, seeing the reluctance to form a serious guess in most of them, while a good number chuckled and offered immature ones instead. He rolled his eyes good-naturedly, and saw the irritation - and possibly embarrassment - on Heidi's face. Cole entertained the thought of telling the pack members to be quiet unless they were going to guess seriously, but he was rather against the idea of being viewed as something of a bully when they were only trying to enjoy themselves.
It was just unfortunate that Steven's turn had brought out the teenager in everyone...

Seeing the current predicament the two Betas were in Dia barely held back a laugh of her own, and settled for an amused smile. Heidi certainly didn’t seem to be overly objecting to the situation. A point of note she might have to bring up with the female Beta later. It did make her wonder if the two realized how amusing their interactions with one another were at times. Probably not, as it most likely wasn’t a detail seen by most, probably at times not even the two of them, but she certainly detected…something between the two of them. Though it would probably be nicer for her to mind her own business. Which of course, didn’t exactly mean she would as the two did seem to be in need of a ‘push’ of some kind.
Though she did feel a bit sorry for Heidi, having ended up still in front of the pack even though she’d passed her turn onto Steven. And it wasn’t helping that it seemed like at least a few, herself included, knew what the answer was, but weren’t about to offer it up.
Feeling the slight squeeze from Cole’s hand, she smiled warmly at her mate before turning her attention to the others gathered. “I think you might have to give another clue, Steven,” she said, keeping her expression very matter of fact despite the situation. Continuing to play was probably far from what either Steven or Heidi would have preferred doing but perhaps with another prompt someone answering would be inevitable. Or at the very least it would be harder to feign ignorance of the answer.

Sissy bit her lip, wondering when someone was going to take a guess and be serious about it. She certainly wasn't, that was for sure. Charades still seemed like a fun idea, but she couldn't bring herself to make the guess that would force her to get up and act something out in front of everyone.
She was actually rather surprised at the fact that Heidi was taking this as well as she was. She was clearly surprised, that much was obvious, but Sissy thought that she would have been so mortified if she had been in the Beta female's position that she would have tried to disappear into the floor despite knowing that that was completely impossible.

Heidi was far more mortified than anyone might have guessed by her relative outward calm, and as soon as the situation allowed, she was getting out of there. In the short term, she had to settle for speaking through gritted teeth. "Yes, Steven," she said, "I think they need a better hint. And just because I'm not going to kill you right now doesn't mean I won't get you for this..."

Sissy found herself having to bite lightly on the inside of her mouth to keep from laughing at Heidi's threat- well, more of a promise if she was being completely truthful. She actually felt rather bad for the female Beta, but she wasn't about to call out the answer. Shifting in her seat and putting her elbow on the arm of the chair and cradling her chin in her hand, she wondered if anyone was going to give a real guess. By the looks of things, Heidi wanted to get out of there as fast as possible.

Given the fact that Heidi looked ready to kill, Molly decided to take Brody's dare and guess. Legitimately, this time. She felt somewhat guilty for her earlier, bogus guess, so it was the least that she could do. The Beta male's current clue was fairly clear, but Molly decided that 'buggering bloodsucker' wasn't exactly appropriate, so:
"Vampire?"

"THANK you!"
Steven was so surprised by how long it had taken them to get it that he, without thinking, released Heidi . . . dropping her to the floor. He grimaced once he realized what he'd done, but he was still so relieved to be able to leave that he really didn't think about it that much. Besides, this meant an end to the humiliation, so one little accident wasn't that big a deal, right?

"Ow!"
Heidi winced slightly as she was unceremoniously dropped on her posterior. She glowered up at Steven, then glanced at Molly. "Thank you. I hope you've all enjoyed yourselves..." Attempting to be a good sport, she quoted one of the movies on the shelf that she liked best. "We'll be here til Thursday! Try the veal!"
Carefully she picked herself up off the carpet and, with all the dignity she had left (it wasn't much), made her way to the back of the room to watch...and keep her mouth decidedly closed.
