Folding her legs in front of her, she flashed the younger wolf the mix of a prideful and cheeky grin. Hey, she was good. The entire prank was her idea. She'd been planning the prank for weeks. Now...seemed like the perfect time to strike. And it was. She just hadn't seen the fruits of her labor as of yet. But didn't mean she wasn't going too. Kate wouldn't do anything too drastic.
"Yes...we did. Last night when..." She pursed her lips together, giving a little grin. "He was laying in bed with Jess." She's not really one for gossip, but Kate's horribly apparent unrequainted love for the other pack wolf was something he'd been harboring...forever. As long as Violet had known the fighter, he was always near the female wolf. Always protecting her.
"But I'm not one for gossip...I just thought it was a cute moment." She gave another little smile, tilting her head upward with a thoughtful glow in her eyes. "I don't think Mister Vain would shave his hair. If he did...I think we'd have the end of the world on our hands."

Had Cassidy known Violet had yet to see the ‘fruits of her labour’, she would have advised the blonde female go and get a glimpse before Kate dyed it back. After all, it would be the wise thing to do on the male fighter’s behalf; so long as he could muster the courage to ask one of the females for some hair dye — Cassidy failed to believe Rosaline didn’t have a bottle for blonde somewhere — then he would be rid of his pink hair in no time.
Rolling her eyes good-naturedly, Cassidy said, “Everyone knows about Kate and Jess.” She didn’t say it in a mocking manner on any level; it was sweet, in a way, and what right did the redhead have to judge a potential relationship within the pack? Certainly, their spending time together, night time or otherwise, was nothing especially ‘new’.
“But he might colour it again. All he’s gotta do is ask someone like Rosie if she has any blonde dye, and he’s free of his pink locks.”

Violet gave a little shrug. She was predicting that the older wolf wouldn't be able to dye his hair. He'd wait, be patient and hope for the pink to completely wash out after five or six showers. That's what she was hoping on. And for the most part she was pretty sure what she was thinking was true. But that's because Violetta Ginis was just plain awesome. And certainly not one to toot her own horn.
"Since when does he ever ask for something, though? Why do you think I targeted him? I study my victims first." She offered a cheeky, teetering smug grin in the redhead's direction. It was always better to pick the ones who were too prideful to ask for help.

Honestly, if Cassidy found out Kate didn’t want to dye his hair, she would call him an idiot, and likely to his face. She wouldn’t mean it in the most spiteful of ways, so it would be an over-exaggeration on his part to swipe at or chase her. Really, given the alternative, he ought to know that dying his hair was the best way to get rid of the problem, and to put his ‘mane’ back to how it ought to be. Cassidy just didn’t understand why some people made life unnecessarily difficult for themselves.
Maybe they just like having something to whine about.
“Well, he doesn’t have to ask for it. It doesn’t take a brain-surgeon to realise Rosie dyes her hair like it’s going out of style.” She said this affectionately, of course; Rosaline was something of a sister figure to Cassidy, just like Irina. The two females were the closest to her, personality-wise, and she looked up to them in that fashion, even though it was possible that she was finding role-models in all the wrong places.

Violet absently played with the hem of her pants as she glanced up at the younger wolf. It was plain to see that she really was getting...anxious. She wanted to see her handy work among other things. Being cooped up in the hotel did its toll on the older wolf with the patience of a five-year-old hyped up on sugar. Though out of the two...Violet could seem the most coherent when it came to her and Jeremy. She still had her moments.
"I think the bloke's stuck in the dark ages." She muttered good-naturedly, of course. She respected the fighters of the pack. So much so that she was often trained by Kate when he had some free time. Or when she was just being bored and wanted to 'play' around. In the non-hair dyeing sort of way. Violetta hadn't found the person she looked up to most in the pack like many others had. She was still searching...she guessed.
"You hungry now? The morning rush should be out and about." Violet hadn't liked the crowded kitchen in the morning. Even if she got scraps it was better then having to dodge people running all over the place.

Cassidy wasn’t fazed by Violet’s restlessness. If she could put up with Devon Riley when he had ingested far too much sugar, then she firmly believed she could put up with anyone, even one of the ‘prankster twins’, as she sometimes dubbed them, if only out of some kind of laziness. It wasn’t like Violet to be still anyway, so it was somewhat puzzling to the redhead why the blonde had managed to keep herself contained this long anyway.
“Well, the pink hair should bring him screaming into the present day, then,” she said to Violet with an amused wiggle of her eyebrows. She had to admit, she was curious to see Kate with his new ‘mane’, but that didn’t mean she was about to go hunting around the hotel for him.
Debating it, Cassidy leaned against her headboard for a while, before she nodded somewhat languidly. “I could go for some toast. Maybe some sausage too, if they haven’t eaten it all.”

Just because Cassidy wasn't about to go hunting for the fighter...didn't mean Violet wasn't. She wanted to see her handy work before the wolf got a brain and did something to make it go away. Kate with pink hair was something she's been wanting to see for a long, long time. Violet shakes out her blond hair, giving a small yawn as she gets to her feet and stretches out.
She turned to the younger wolf, placing her hands on her hips and watching her for a moment. Possibly even mentally debating hitting Cassidy with one of her and Jeremy's infamous pranks. Though she doubted that the red head wouldn't let that die down as much as Kate possibly would. She'd possibly have to hide longer. Violet wasn't anxious about walking down the halls; she knew how Kate thought. About keeping an image for the younger wolves. She respected that. She did the same in a "funner" way.
"I'm quite sure that Katie isn't going to be wandering around...he'll be lurking in the shadows...like a scary shadow Kate monster." Bad, Vi, BAAAADDDDD. Lack of food equals lack of imagination.

Cassidy had to admit she was curious, but not curious enough to potentially put herself in the crosshair of Kate on a rampage. Everyone in the pack had noticed, at one point or another, just how proud the male fighter was of his hair, even though many a pack mate had mentioned to him, in passing, more than once, that he might want to invest in a haircut. It hadn’t gone down well, even with the chorus of laughter from whoever was in the area, but Kate was a good wolf; good at his job and entertaining all the same. He certainly had his moments.
Gazing at Violet as the blonde female rose from the bed, Cassidy debated her options; she could stay where she was and try to regain her inspiration, or she could wander out into the hotel with Violet in search of food. Weighing one against the other, she finally rose from the bed, and moved to the closet to fetch some clothes; pyjamas were hardly conducive to wandering around the Hyperion, even though it was her home.
“Even someone like Kate would have a hard time pulling off ‘scary’ with pink hair,” she mentioned to the blonde as she picked out a few items, heading for her bathroom to change after making her selections.

Maybe Violet was one of those people who didn't mind wandering around in her pajamas, glancing down at her outfit for a moment that she had slept in the previous night before giving a shrug. It wasn't anything anyone hadn't seen before...and she wasn't one to think of outward appearances this early. She sat back down on the bed, kicking her legs while waiting for the younger female and humming 'Time Is Running Out' as she studied the ceiling for a moment.
"I'm pretty sure Kate and scary go hand and hand when he's Hulking out." She joked lightly with a smirk before that smirk grew into a full on smile at the thought of a green Kate...being menancing and raging through the hotel. Even though for some reason in her mind all the other pack members were stick figures for some odd reason. Maybe her next project would be dying the wolf's skin green. Hmmm...the possibilities.

It wasn’t as if Cassidy was at all shy about the way she looked; she was somewhat proud of her appearance, knowing that she had what it took to turn a few heads, depending on the crowd. Whether or not it was only in passing, and only on a trip out to do some shopping with some of the others, well that didn’t bother Cassidy. Sometimes, it was just nice to be appreciated, even if only from afar.
Still, she preferred to keep her pyjamas for the bedroom, and not for beyond in the hotel. It wasn’t as if she was ashamed of her pyjamas; quite the opposite — she was just too fond of her eclectic wardrobe, and the variety of affects it could have. So it was that, with the weather outside and the heat it transferred into the Hyperion itself, she had chosen a sleeveless shirt, dark purple in colour to set off her red hair, with a dark blue pair of jeans that hugged at her hips and a belt that was in no way practical but much more aesthetical. When she came out of the bathroom, she moved to the dresser to slip a gothic-style cross on a black cord over her neck to hang down above her chest, over the low v-shaped neckline of the shirt. Donning a few white gold rings, picking them seemingly at random, she then plucked a pair of short-heeled black boots from the closet, not even sitting down in order to pull them on, not needing the perch for her balance after all. She had brushed her hair in the bathroom and washed her face to freshen herself up and even brushed her teeth.
“Next time,” she said to Violet, glancing briefly at the full-length mirror tucked into the corner beyond the closet door, “you should dye his hair green, to go with the whole ‘Hulk’ thing.” She turned an amused smirk in Violet’s direction.

Oooh...that gave the older wolf much more diabolical ideas for a tactical strike on Kate Barnett. Not because she didn't like the older wolf. Kate was great but he was also a fair and easy target to pick on. The fact that he didn't hold grudges for that long? That was the main upside of targetting the older wolf for her series of pranks she liked to play on him. Kate was a trooper. So she might as well test his limits. It was only fair.
The older she-wolf smirked right back at the younger, crossing her arms for the moment to give the prospect a moment of thought. Pink was a stroke of genius. Green...a bright lime green would be great. Violet cared to spend more time thinking about pranks and finding ways to "torture" people in such embarrassing ways that the glee of attracting people by her looks went out the window. She was old enough that she knew if she didn't have a mate she probably wasn't going to get one. It was a minor defeatist attitude the she-wolf held about herself. Though the blonde still held the romantic notion that if she ever did find the one meant for her...it would be love at first sight. She liked to believe that 'love-at-first sight' existed in this world.
Violet allowed a bemused smile to grow on her face, canting her head to the side. "Hmm...or maybe you should. I wouldn't want to take your idea and say it was my own." She chuckled at the idea of Cassidy pulling one of her and Jeremy's pranks. The younger wolf didn't strike her as the prank sort. "...He does sleep really, really heavily."

Cassidy was all for a good prank now and again, and had been the unwilling target of a fair few from one Devon Riley herself, much to her chagrin, but she believed in moderation; these things had to be balanced, and, well, when one lived in a pack of werewolves who were likely to act on instincts, especially around the time of the full moon, she was the type who thought that less was better. True, there were some people who just set themselves up for pranks, but surely the jokes and hoaxes would be more enjoyable if they weren’t so frequent.
Besides, none of them would benefit if Violet and Jeremy broke Kate’s hold on sanity.
“I’m not one for dying the hair of others while they sleep, Vi’,” she said, checking her reflection one last time before turning, showing her readiness in a way. “I kinda like not being chased around in fear of my life or limbs, just because I’ve pissed off Big Blondie by messing with his mane.”

Seeing Cassidy's turn and subsequent body language, Violet took that as a song that she was ready to go and she jumped up from where she had set herself down on the floor with a bounce and a grin. When it came to unwilling targets there was a fine line to walk of which Violet was very aware - she'd never do something so drastic to someone that would upset them because that wasn't the point of pulling pranks; the point was laughter. Sure, Kate was pissed now, but hey he couldn't stay that way forever and once he got over the 'shock and awe' tactics she and Jeremy had employed he would come around. He'd laugh about it in a few hair-dye filled days. Or maybe weeks was more accurate, come to think about it.
"He'll get over it," she said with a wave of her hand. Her interest had waned slightly in Kate and his hair and she shrugged as she moved towards the door to the hallway, "Besides, it's not like we trimmed his nasal hair or anything that invasive. Next time I think we should paint his nails or give him a make-over. Kate would make a cute girl." She paused and laughed, hand on the door knob, "Name's already there and everything... it is only matter of time!" she cackled and swung the door open, bowing out of the way with a flourish of her free hand to allow Cassidy to get through the open doorway first as a gentleman would. Not that she wasn't a lady, because she was, but as usual such logical thoughts were completely beside the point and she grinned from beneath a mop of messy blonde hair, blowing air through her lips, angled upwards to get the fringe out of her face briefly.

Again, Cassidy found herself wondering where Violet got all her energy, but the blonde had always been a little too bouncy for some peoples’ tastes. For the redhead who faced her, it depended on the day as to whether or not she could handle the amount of enthusiasm. Hell, sometimes she practically itched to join in with one of hers and Jeremy’s pranks, and not only because the three of them were close together in their age bracket. In a pack as large as Cole’s, after all, there was always going to be someone close to your age, guaranteed.
Unable to keep herself from laughing when Violet — albeit harmlessly, almost affectionately — teased Kate’s name, Cassidy shook her head, giving a sigh when her sounds of amusement had faded into simple breathy whispers. “Poor Kathe—Kate. So abused.” Her wolf flickered in her eyes, a vivid, cool blue, and she smiled, on the verge of showing more canine than was necessary, but she held back her lupine mischief. “But you’re right. He’ll get over it. Or he’ll remember that thing called hair dye, which I’m surprised he hasn’t already, given that was what was used against him.”

During her elaborate bow a packet of cigarettes had fallen out of Violet's pocket and with a 'whoops' the female bent to scoop them up with her free hand, "Precisely, my friend," she declared with regards to the hair dye comment, laughing freely through her words at the way Cassidy had started to give Kate a full female name, it was all in jest. If the big lug hadn't been so uptight about his appearance then none of this would have happened and he would have had a decidedly non-pink night. So really he was the only one to blame. "If I had any of that dye left I might have used it on myself actually," she mused aloud, straightening up and looking up at the ceiling for a moment, as though she had something very profound, deserving deep consideration, "it's a fetching shade."
Just as quickly as she had thought of it though the idea was gone from her head, the rueful moment of mourning for the fact that she had no more pink hair dye left abandoned as she twirled the packet of Parliaments in her hand and looked at Cassidy with narrowed eyes; "Is jello for breakfast a bad idea?" Subject changes came thick and fast in the company of Violet, her mind seemed to leap from one thread to another with no real connection between the points that was discernable to outsiders, as in those outside of her brain.
